Hi @Fairydust93. Monday so soon - yes as asked, what DPO are you? These symptoms sounds encouraging. Look forward to following your journey with you :) xx

Lily2020 · 30/04/2020 20:08

Hi @Fairydust93 welcome 😊 ooh how exciting! How many dpo are you? I'm testing from Sunday onwards 🤞🏽 keep us posted!

Hello ladies, may I join please?

Every group I keep joining everyone ignores me!

I'm testing on Monday when my hpt arrive, today I've woke up with really sore nipples and pains in my breast, pinching/cramps and lotion CM

User43210 · 30/04/2020 19:20

@emvy thank you, that gives me hope. They had to do a second surgery and then AF took ages (thought it wasn't coming) and was shorter than my usual 7 days. I just struggle to think positive.

emvy · 30/04/2020 19:14

@emiliet123, sorry you’ve got af, and so early! I really hope next cycle is the one for you.

@User43210, I completely understand what you mean. I was so worried about surgery for a mmc that I wouldn’t have a normal cycle but I conceived twice more in quick succession. I’m sure all will be fine, that is the most likely outcome!

User43210 · 30/04/2020 15:11

@emiliet123 I like your positivity! That's the exact same as me, last time we had a scan and heartbeat at 6weeks which I think made it a little easier when we had the bad news because we knew they were there.

Me and hubby are trying to look to the positive side, it'll be a chance to check if I may have Ashermans as last AF was very short or if I'm back to normal. I also have a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge ready for that day 1 Grin xx

emiliet123 · 30/04/2020 14:08

So helpless, I couldn't agree more. And then once you have that positive test... you still can't do anything, as it's weeeeks until your booking in appointment! But the comfort in knowing makes all the difference to your mental health.

I can understand, when you've lost a baby all you want is to fill that huge hole it leaves with another to love as soon as possible 💕Let's stay positive, every month brings a new opportunity xx

User43210 · 30/04/2020 12:07

@emiliet123 I think it's just ridiculous, you feel helpless and the only way to do something is to test, even though it's too early, in the hope there's that faint line, but the BFN is always a hit. I think it doesn't help that we had only "tried" for two months (just lack of birth control - nothing else changed) when we got pregnant last time and with all the hospitalisation etc from the MMC and taking forever for my hCG to drop, I was just hoping for a quick positive this time, no matter how unrealistic.

Maybe in a few months, who knows!

emiliet123 · 30/04/2020 12:00

Thanks @user43210 :) I know the feeling, last month I was testing way too much, but this month I just feel worse for not having any hope!

@MrsLBear it started a little bit yesterday (I was praying it was just a little implantation bleeding) so four days early, which is a bloody bitch bastard :( I start back working tomorrow and I guess I was just hoping that I'd be pregnant before I did... obvs not! But given the way lockdown seems to be going (and I'm isolating for 12 weeks for other reasons), I won't actually be in the office until July ... so there's still 2 more opportunities before I go back! I'd just love to not have to work through the morning sickness, it was absolutely hell last time - everyone guessed at 6 weeks because I was so grey and exhausted (and constantly late every morning because I couldn't get my head out of the toilet!)... oh my word, it was torture but what I wouldn't give to have that back now :(

xx

lydia771 · 30/04/2020 10:18

Hi, would love to join. AF due 8th May, cycle 2 TTC for baby #1

MrsLBear · 30/04/2020 09:53

Sorry to hear af got you @emiliet123, hopefully this brings your BFP cycle!! How early is it?

User43210 · 30/04/2020 09:29

@emiliet123 so sorry to hear that Sad I know I'll be joining you in a week or so. I don't know why I got my hopes up for a miracle - it's that much harder when it doesn't happen.
Fingers crossed for you next month!

emiliet123 · 30/04/2020 08:55

Hey guys, I’m out this month - AF has arrived early with a vengeance! 😖 I can’t say I’m surprised, I just didn’t have any hope this month, not even a temptation to test. I think my body’s still figuring things out after losing Maya, but I guess it’s another month to try and get into a healthier place and at least I can celebrate my return to work tomorrow with a HUGE glass of wine! 😜

Fingers crossed for you all. Xx

Lily2020 · 29/04/2020 21:54

@MrsLBear I know it's awful being in limbo!! 😣 I'm going to wait till Sunday now if I can stop myself, absolutely zero symptoms but like I said before I didn't with first baby so not counting myself out till af arrives!
Keep us posted if you do test earlier!🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

OP posts:
MrsLBear · 29/04/2020 20:40

@Lily2020 I mean I never have any hope but thank you 😬 well I was going to wait until Monday which would be day before af is due but I don't know if I can. Will take it day by day.
When you next going to test?
So weird cos I didn't really have anything going on until last night then I've had cramps today and my boobs feel a tiny bit sore but more my nipples feel a bit tender. I do sometimes get sore boobs before af though so doesn't mean anything. And apparently progesterone peaks mid lp which can cause these things. Just want af to hurry up and come if it is.

emvy · 29/04/2020 19:30

Evening all,

@MrsLBear it definitely fits with your timings then, really hopeful for you! I don’t know how far along I was with DS because I fell following a mc and hadn’t had af in between. I dated the pregnancy using cb and it said 2-3 weeks 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks @Helena79 and @Lily2020, I’ll see what One Step say next week. I’ve not felt very optimistic today though.

Hi @BelleDell, I think 5DPO is the earliest day implantation could happen so could work out!!

babyG123 · 29/04/2020 19:20

@BelleDell I have no idea! I actually felt really sick 2dpo-4dpo so wondering if I've had a little bit of a bug.

But then it's me shutting my mind off of hope 🙈🤞🏼

BelleDell · 29/04/2020 19:10

Hi all I hope you don't mind me joining your thread. Currently 7DPO.

@babyG123 I'm struck by your comment! 5DPO exactly the same symptoms. 5DPO too early for implantation? I don't know what it was. So I'm keen to share your journey with you. How have you felt since?

Best wishes ladies Xxx

Lily2020 · 29/04/2020 15:20

@Helena79 ooh did you that's exciting 😊 look forward to an update when you're 9dpo!! Although my daughter was very much tried for I was very busy with work, social life & other stuff at the time & didn't test till I was 3 days late & got blazing positives & 3+ weeks on a digital test. This time round I feel like im clutching at straws testing way too early! Lockdown doesn't help with TTC!!

OP posts:
Helena79 · 29/04/2020 15:03

@Lily2020 I know it is a bit daft so early. I got my 3 BFPs with other pregnancies at 9/10 DPO...so I need to sit in my hands 😂 I’m finding it hard during lockdown, as there’s not much else to think about for long.

@emvy Agree about having a few brands...My first BFP was using same wee sample and I got a faint positive on a cheap paper test, then a negative on a CB no words test and then a positive on the CB words test. The CB words test is my favourite, so amazing to see the words “Pregnant”, but sadly too expensive to use regularly!!

I’m being impatient, as I’m currently interviewing for a much more senior role that I can’t do if I get a BFP... and I also want to decorate my little one’s current bedroom, which I won’t do if we’ve got another baby on the way.

Lily2020 · 29/04/2020 14:43

@emvy i think it's a good idea to have a couple of brands if testing early as can so easily get your hopes up only to have them dashed 😕 fingers crossed for you though let us know when you test again!

@Helena79 I'm also 6dpo & also tested this morning 🙈 obvs bfn, why do we do it to ourselves!!

@User43210 let us know how you get on with your tests tomorrow! 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

@MrsLBear that sounds like a good sign!! When will you test?

OP posts:
User43210 · 29/04/2020 14:24

Hi all,

I’m on the TWW too. I’m currently about 7 DPO although this is my first time tracking. I had a MMC at the start of the year, requiring two surgeries about 6 weeks apart due to missing some of the RPOC in the first one which kept my HCG levels high.

I had to wait for one AF (longest 5 weeks ever!) before I could try so this is now my first cycle.

I’m really impatient so the testing has begun. I did one Tesco test yesterday evening and got an extremely faint positive. Tried again later to confirm with a ClearBlue although probably was too diluted and got a negative. Tried with fmu today and was negative. Read that some people find it better to test later so tried that and negative again. I have FRER tests arriving tomorrow so fingers crossed.

I know it’s probably too early to test but I definitely pinned my hopes on the slight positive yesterday. I know it was likely a bad test or something (not evap line, for sure) but I feel like I’m definitely not because of the negative tests and I’m just worried about conceiving again as I’m panicking about Asherman’s Syndrome as my first AF was a lot shorter than usual.

I’ve also had lower abdomen pains since about 3/4 days before ovulation and don’t know what they mean.

Sorry for rambling but with everything going on, sometimes you just need to let it out.

babyG123 · 29/04/2020 14:12

@MrsLBear I could have literally written what you just said. 5dpo. Cramps and pinching on my right side. Feels like I'm going to come on but AF not due for 9 days though.

MrsLBear · 29/04/2020 13:59

@emvy thanks lovely! I'm not reading into anything but was so weird. I was half dreaming I came on too. I'm 8dpo today and af is due next. The wait is killllling me.
How many DPO were you when you found out your were pg with your ds?

emvy · 29/04/2020 13:03

@MrsLBear I had pinching sensations when pregnant with my DS! Also cramping could be a sign too. Ah I’m feeling hopeful for you! How many DPO?

@Helena79, good luck for Friday! Hide those tests until then 😂
