32 TTC number 1 since March - this is our 5th cycle as we stopped a bit due to covid.

Hoping to be able to chat with other folk in the same boat!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah. This is turning into a really long cycle. I’m cd34 when I’m usually 27-32 so once I find out what’s happening either way I’ll give the docs a phone. I’ve already had some bloods done a couple of months ago which were fine but I think 6 months is the time to look at starting checks when you’re over 35. I expected things to take some time but I still want to make sure everything is ok. Not sure how much is being done just now so might look at going private if the waiting lists are really long.
How are things with you??

@notyetamumbuttrying sorry I've been so ill! Not coronavirus just really ill! I havent done my test yet as really didn't want to force a period when I was so ill, going to go get the tablets this week. Hope your DH scan goes well

Hey can I join? I’m 38, partner is 32 and this is our 6th cycle ttc #1.
Have always had regular cycles but this month is a crazy one and despite doing opk and bbt, I have no idea if I’m 13dpo or 7dpo? Either way I have no symptoms and a bfn this morning.

Hi @notyetamumbuttrying my super faint lines got much more convincing. I'm 5w+1 by LMP giving me a due window of between 18th June and 23rd July. Just 32 to 37 weeks to go now! 🤞

Nothing to report from me apart from my smear was all clear! Dh has his scan booked in for next week, so hoping to get answers re him soon. Still waiting on our referral from the nhs. I know it's gone through guys and St. Thomas though.

@notyetamumbuttrying Super super faint line today. Today is period due day. Normally I would expect a clear and definate line for this point, but that would be for average cycles with 14 day (ish) luteal length. I'm hanging in there just about and trying not to get too excited. But we all know how easy that is 🙄 Just got to wait and see now. I can honestly say that this is way worse than the TWW and if I sleep at all in the next 72 hours it'll be nothing short of a miracle!

@Rma13 did AF show? It's shown for me today which is not a surprise! Dh had his urologist appointment this week and got a blood test to check his hormone levels. He'll also get a scan done, I guess to check any blockages. She couldn't see a varicocele so that's something good at least! Just waiting for the right time in order to get a second SA and then we can finally make a plan! Getting very fed up now! 14 months ttc next week 😩

Cycle 7 with slightly short luteal length.
Luckily been cycle tracking this year or so just to keep an eye on when my period's due.
Tried OPKs a couple of months, but they just confirmed what I already knew from EWCM.

This months the planets seem to be aligning. Fertile days were over a weekend DTD 3/3 and testing days are over our wedding anniversary. These have got to be good signs, right?! 🤞

Hi @notyetamumbuttrying my appointment was interesting. I have to wait until the end of the month, if no AF i have to test, if negative I then have to take this medicine that will force an AF and then ten days later go and have ink injected into my tubes. She is worried that my lack of AF is a blockage in my tubes? It sounds quite painful tbh but I'm willing to try anything!

Cd10 for me and usually get peak today. Been taking soya so its delayed it so that's good! Hope a more mature egg might help Dh's slow sperm 😬

@BellaBella84 haha 🤣 yes!! Just checked my next dates and due to ov next Friday I think so yay!! Might even get to do it day after ov as well which is unheard of...usually too shagged out by then 😂 and scan went fine yesterday @Rma13 she saw a small fibroid but wasn't concerned by it. Will get full write up next week. Also have my smear in a couple weeks so getting it all done it feels! I'm gonna see if they'll give me an hsg or hycosy when I next speak with my gp, cos why not eh 🤪

@notyetamumbuttrying 🤞 The planets align and we can conveniently ovulate at a chilled out weekend time! A time where words like "tired" "headache" and "long week" are banned! 🤣

Thanks @BellaBella84 I love it when ov is on the weekend! I'm exactly the same!! I'm like yay 😁 he'll actually shag me with relative ease cos it's a Saturday 😂

I'm puting a lot of hope into this months window. Will confirm with OPKs nearer the time, but it looks like my peak days will fall over a weekend. (Considerably higher chance of actually getting laid at the right time! 🤣)

Thank you @Rma13 yeah hope so! Dh has changed his lifestyle so hoping that helps too. We'll get a repeat SA in Nov to see if there's any improvement and then go private for ivf if not. I'm not prepared to wait another year to get it on the nhs x

Hey @Rma13!! Good news, hope all goes well. So not positive but we know what our issue is now. It's Dh, he has low count, motility and morphology so we're getting referred. He's also got a referral to a urologist. I have my scan on Tuesday but I'm expecting it to be alright, seeing as both my bloods were.
