In our 30's and TTC- baby dust

Just hopped on the thread and newly joined Mumsnet too. I m gonna be 30 by this Nov. I miscarried last January 2021 and it was my first one after a year plus of trying. I m so unsure of my feelings like it feels so desperate conceiving again. I feel so left out with my circle, many of em ahead of having successful pregnancy to its full terms. Why me? 😞

My period came today after a day late (second cycle after miscarriage in January). I feel so broken and disheartened but I cant cry my tears out of me. Sorry to rant out here but I just need to let this out today. Best wishes to all of us whom are still trying. I hope God will hear us someday. 😢

@notyetamumbuttrying my AF showed up yesterday 😢 I have a few more attempts with Clomid then that will be it! 2/3 months will fly by for you! I see the light at the end, of what's been a very long tunnel, for you and your DH! You must keep me updated!

Can I join here?
Me and my hubby of 8 years have decided to have a baby, we've been married for 4 years this year.
We both have children from previous marriages, I am 33 and he is 61
GP has said that we need to ttc for 6-9 months before they will do tests..
I came off the coil at end of January and this will be our 3rd cycle just about to start..
I am 13DPO and BFN :( My LP is quite long at the moment so just waiitng for period to start again....

Private is so expensive..

@Rma13 did you retest? I'm bk from our ivf appointment and it's another 2-3 months to start 🙄 was hoping it'd be like 1 month, ah well! Just a few more months and finally we'll be underway! I have a lap next week for suspected endo so at least that'll be done before we start!

@Rma13 others were told 7 days so 10 seems excessive, especially with the Covid test 3 days before it anyway. Ooh best of luck for retesting!! 🤞🏾

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah i reckon they are right!! Especially if you've got no symptoms as well!! My AF still hasn't started!! Gonna wait three more days and take another test!!

@Rma13 I've asked others on my other threads and they've all said risk it too so think I will!

@notyetamumbuttrying I'd risk it if I were you especially if you're having a covid test before but I dunno that could be bad advice haha

I just got a date through for a laparoscopy but it's a week after my ivf appointment and I have to self isolate for ten days. Toying with whether to cancel it or just chance it? I'm doing a Covid test 3 days before surgery anyway so that'll obviously pick anything up and mean it can go ahead or it can't.

I'm 30 and have been trying for 3/4 months. Second month I went bonkers with ovulation sticks and things, since then have been trying to be more relaxed and just DTD every other day throughout the month (which has meant I have to pick fewer arguments!) Am currently 13DPO but feel like AF might be on her way, have had a little bit of cramping and itchy nipples, so trying not to get my hopes up.

I'm ok thanks @Rma13 had a baby girl last month.

@Rma13 thank you, will do. Have come out in the sun to cheer myself up but it's so windy by the river that I'm cold 😂 it's pretty built up where I live so not a lot choices to sit and enjoy the sun. The pitfalls of London living.

I'm ok thanks. Last day of period today but feeling very angry and annoyed for some reason. Ivf appointment is next week now tho so focusing on that and still waiting on lap date for endo diagnosis and treatment.

Hi @notyetamumbuttrying my period is two days late, I have sore boobs and feel sick but tested today and its negative and my heart has broken a little bit again 😢
