@babyG123 congrats!
I use the easy@home IC with premom as well. Love them!.

BabyG123 · 17/05/2020 09:12

@jaxs23 I used the easy@home kit off of amazon. £15 for 50opks and 20 preg tests.

It links up with the premom app and plots the graph for you all tells you when your peak is.

Amazing and I'm now 6+5 highly recommend!

Yes very close! @jaxs23 yeah thank you. Have heard of coq10 too and intend on purchasing some tomorrow! Just wanted to be sure AF definitely was coming first.
Yeah the CB's are expensive, I don't start using them when the pack says but the day before I think I'm gonna ovulate based on the Flo app, so that I'm not using loads each cycle. Worked last month so will do the same again this month.

jaxs23 · 16/05/2020 23:47

@notyetamumbuttrying my bday is on the 22nd. So close. I've used IC last 2 cycles and love them. Just had some weird 2 highs so want to temp to assure myself I'm ov.
Want to try CB opk but expensive.
Hopefully your cylcly will get longer. I heard coq10 can help with egg quality.

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 23:10

Thank you @MrsTtobe! I would love it if you posted a pic. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage.

MrsTtobe · 16/05/2020 22:20

@notyetamumbuttrying not sure if ive wrote about it on this thread yet but my cycles were really short, 21-25 I was worried because when I googled it it basically said it was near impossible to conceive but looking deeper in to it as long as we ovulate earlier on but we still have a good LP then it's fine. Like I say I conceived my 2 yr old dd pretty much straight away. 2 or 3 cycles.
I looked into it and vitamin b complex can lengthen luteal phase and is good for all things cycle wise. So strange that the month I took it I had a 28 day cycle then the next month found out I was pregnant. Sadly miscarried at 11 weeks though. This happened 6 weeks ago. My first AF came yesterday so CD 2. I took Holland and Barrett vitamin b complex. I will take a pic if you like because there were loads in there and I got really confused with all the b vitamins 🤣
But try not to worry. Short cycles aren't always a bad thing x

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 20:54

@MrsTtobe this is so good to hear!! I always worry about my early ovulation n immature eggs! Can I ask which b complex vitamins you took please?

MrsTtobe · 16/05/2020 20:46

Thank you @jaxs23 😊 yes definitely a relief that things are hopefully back to normal. Just the thought of starting all over again. 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying I used to have short cycles, 25 ish days, with vitamin b complex I can get to 28 now 🤣 I had one cycle that was 21. I always ovulate straight away too. Conceived my daughter on cd 7/8.

BabyG123 · 16/05/2020 20:17

@Babyboom1990 my friend always said... what would a scan do anytime ay? Not like you can do anything once last that point. But I was like I'd rather know!

@jaxs23 ooh I wonder if we share the same birthday?! I'm 19th, you? I feel exactly the same cos I know we don't do it enough. Prob 3/4 times max in fw. Have you tried ov sticks? They tell u day before you ov and then bbt tells you once you have. I wanna try SMEP but don't think my fw is long enough as I'm fertile as soon as my period finishes (24 day cycles). I'm trying agnus castus to hopefully ovulate later, it's usually cd10! I'm hopeful they work ASAP as I want a longer cycle so desperately. In my head, this is the reason for my lack of success so far. Immature egg etc.

jaxs23 · 16/05/2020 18:41

@notyetamumbuttrying i just turned 34 in march as well. I did 5 cycles of DTD at the right times during ovulation and it seems to cause more stress for me. Never feel like we did enough. This is my first cycle doing SMEP and bbt. Having a schedule just makes me feel more in control of TTC and temping to reassure me that im actually ovulating.

@MrsTtobe sorry about your MC. Glad your body is back on track so you can continue your TTC journey.

@Babyboom1990 I'm going to wait for the 12 week scan. It's a slippery slope for me. I ended up having g about 6-10 private scans with DS1 as was so worried all the time and it was just ease to go and get checked.

Need to be a bit more chilled out with this one.

No cramps but my c section scar sometimes feels like it is pulling tight. Weird I know!

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 12:00

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage @MrsTtobe. Great to hear you're starting back ttc. Best of luck! 🍀

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 11:58

@Annabel19 would defo try another dr as you can get going on tests after 6 months of ttc if you're over 35.
Thank you so much, I need all the encouragement I can get as really getting to me now!

MrsTtobe · 16/05/2020 11:54

Hey, it's been a while but finally got AF yesterday. 6 weeks after miscarriage, I was 11 weeks pregnant. Always shit to see AF but relieved everything seems back to normal and we can get on with ttc AGAIN.

Annabel19 · 16/05/2020 11:49

@notyetamumbuttrying Good plan. I’ve been told to ask for day three blood tests for FSH and LH. My doctor has told me we have to try for a year before anything can be investigated. Might try another doctor. Best of luck to you, it will happen. I’m keeping fingers crossed .. I’ve seen so many women go through this and end up with a positive result xxx

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 11:44

@Annabel19 it is very frustrating!! I hope so, thinking of booking drs sooner than the year mark as never conceived, ever and getting worried. I'll see what cycle 9 brings and then decide. Fingers crossed for you too!! Smile

Annabel19 · 16/05/2020 11:36

@notyetamumbuttrying Yep, we’re trying for number one. I’m 37, husband 38. Fingers crossed for you xxx it’s frustrating isn’t it? At 34 you’ve got lots of time on your side xxx

@Annabel19 no worries 😉
Not great today, can feel AF coming (due tomorrow) and I really thought we'd caught this month as we'd done it 3 days in a row at the right times and used preseed, all things we'd not done before but there really isn't an exact science to it. I'll be onto cycle 9 from tomorrow. Hoping that's our lucky one as a lot of ppl I know fell on cycle 9. Just feeling extremely disheartened by the whole ttc process now.
Are you trying for your first? We are and I'm 34, husband is 37.

BabyG123 · 16/05/2020 11:12

It is a lucky thread!

@Babyboom1990 I had nausea from from 2dpo and I have it on and off still now. Mostly heart burn and tiredness. How about you? I am 6+4 by the booking in people but with my long cycles I know the scan will show not that far.

Annabel19 · 16/05/2020 11:02

That’s a great tip @notyetamumbuttrying. I’ll have a look. How are you getting on? Xxx

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/05/2020 10:34

@Annabel19 sorry to hear about your CP. I've heard that coq10 is a good supplement for egg quality. I'm going to order some tomorrow when AF arrives. Have a google and see what you think. My friend conceived with an under active thyroid and on thyroxine if that gives you some solace. Smile
