Do you think it's a 30s thing, @notyetamumbuttrying? I'm the same as you - a handful of old school friends, work colleagues, work friends, a friend from uni... It's quite amazing. It really wasn't like this when we had DC#1 but I suppose I was only 27 then (I'll be at least 32 before another baby is born). Have you been trying for long? Where are you in your cycle?

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/06/2020 17:37

Yep! I feel like that too @helia I know 10 ppl giving birth between July and December 😫 5 of which I'm close to (sister, two best friends, my neighbour) the others are work colleagues and my Dh's friends wives.

helia · 16/06/2020 17:19

Sorry for your loss @bee1311.

Two pregnancy announcements in as many days. It feels like everyone is pregnant but me at times!

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/06/2020 16:42

Hi @bee1311 so hard not to symptom spot! Sorry to hear about your MC and welcome to the thread!

bee1311 · 16/06/2020 16:33

Hi all, can I join?

Miscarried back in November and gave up trying for a little while. First month back trying. I think I ovulated on 13th/14th and had sex covering those days.
Already I have heartburn and hot flushes, I think I'm losing my mind haha

X

peonyrose87 · 16/06/2020 16:31

@helia welcome!!

Rma13 · 16/06/2020 14:17

@helia welcome!! Fingers crossed for you in your journey of ttc!

notyetamumbuttrying · 16/06/2020 10:54

Welcome @helia we're all still trying during the pandemic as we can't put our lives on hold forever, so don't feel bad.
Hi @CrazyCat15 good luck for testing and remember to hold your wee for 4 hours if you're not using FMU. Let us know how you get on!

CrazyCat15 · 16/06/2020 08:30

Hiya 38 here. I'm testing later today when they are delivered x

helia · 16/06/2020 08:25

Hello everyone. I'm trying to find a spot on the TTC board and this thread jumped out at me as I'm in my 30s too. How are you? We are TTC#2 in July. We were extremely fortunate to conceive DC#1 after two months but that was about 4.5 years ago and we were in our 20s then. I don't think now is the ideal time to start but we really don't know how long it will take this time and we would be kicking ourselves if we waited and waited then nothing happened.

Lauralozzle · 16/06/2020 08:18

@Rma13 at least your bloods are normal. Still strange what is happening though. TTC is super stressful, maybe it’s a symptom of stress.

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/06/2020 12:03

Thank god they're normal although still leaves you in limbo @Rma13! I wonder if it's due to stress? Ttc is stressful anyway but if you have other stressful things going on in your life, that can impact your period.

Rma13 · 15/06/2020 11:51

Just an update, all bloods have come back normal.... so we are still none the wiser about what is wrong with me!

Lauralozzle · 15/06/2020 08:01

@Rma13 I’m so sorry, hopefully it’s not early menopause and something much less than that which can be fixed. You’re still young - hopefully you’ll find out more today.

AF started yesterday after the spotting - full blown AF now, which sucks because I feel crappy and heavy and it’s Monday, so I have work!

I’m trying to remain positive, and trying to carry on with my weight loss because if, when, I go to the doctors I know they’ll say something about my weight so I’m trying to get it down to a healthy BMI.

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2020 22:05

Oh you're young then @Rma13! I think they're wrong personally. What else are they testing for? Best of luck for tomorrow!

Rma13 · 14/06/2020 22:02

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm only 30! But yeah apparently that's what she thinks it might be! Im praying shes wrong, get the blood test results back tomorrow I hope!

notyetamumbuttrying · 14/06/2020 20:55

How old are you @Rma13? Did the drs say they think it might be early menopause then? So sorry to hear how you're feeling. Totally understandable tho! You can talk to us Thanks

Rma13 · 14/06/2020 19:42

Hey everyone. I am so low today, I'm still getting pregnancy symptoms, done another test, even though clearly I'm not pregnant as the bloods were negative and the Dr is talking about the possibility of early menopause..... I dont even know where to go with that. I'm writing to all of you as I feel like I can be really open and honest with you all and you all want the same as me a baby! I just cant believe the chance maybe being taken away from me. I no I should be grateful I have my DS (which believe me I am) but theres a part of me that's broken.....

Peach1204 · 14/06/2020 10:19

Just been to Tesco - all their vitamins are 3 for 2 so stocked up now for a few months. According to my calcs AF should be here Tuesday, Thursday I have OPKs arriving so I am definitely prepared for cycle 3 as I'm pretty convinced AF will be arriving. Can't say we aren't giving it our all eh?! Xxx

Lauralozzle · 14/06/2020 10:06

So, spotting has started for me, AF will start either later today or tomorrow. I’m happy to be fair, I just wanted this cycle to be over as soon as possible!

I’m hoping next cycle we will at least get a better chance.

Peach1204 · 13/06/2020 17:07

@Sakura54 thank you. I think I need to ignore any symptoms until a missed AF. I'm grumpy today so reckon she must be coming in the next couple of days. I've also bought ovulation tests as well so I'll link those with using the app too. I do like the app. I hope it happens soon. Sorry to hear about your second one. Fingers crossed for some good news soon. Xxx

Sakura54 · 13/06/2020 16:59

@Peach1204 it took me less than 5 months to get pregnant both times and this is by using an app to tell me my FW so I don't really know my ovulation day. The 2nd one didn't work out though. It's still very early days for you so I don't think you need to worry until nothing happens for over 6 months? Even then it's considered normal to still be TTC for up to a year! I reckon it'll happen soon for you. I usually just expect AF to come lol.

Peach1204 · 12/06/2020 19:42

@2020mission I'm judgemental and grumpy right now! 😂 xxx

Peach1204 · 12/06/2020 19:41

@2020mission I completely understand that. I find myself getting annoyed with people who are easily conceiving that I know or who have easily conceived (like DH cousin who got pregnant after 2 weeks of being with her partner and who then split a year later) xxx

Mummylala123 · 12/06/2020 19:19

@peonyrose87 thank you! Just not too sure what we were looking for!
