HI,

Wondering if anyone can advise me. Yesterday I did a first response test at 6dpo. There was a almost there line but could not really tell so decided to open the test. Once it was opened I noticed a super faint line where result line is. I put test back together and it immediately looked like this. Just don’t know if opening it caused the positive to appear?
I have done two other tests different brand today and both negative but there hcg sensitivity was 10 and first response was 6? My head is spinning!

Meant to say - I'm 20 weeks now. Thinking of you.

niki26 · 27/04/2020 15:06

That's very similar to my FRER (I think I've attached it!) - fingers crossed for you.

No photo?

What colour spotting?

Jaylou7 · 27/04/2020 14:10

I just did another FR and did not tamper with this one. This is what I saw within 2 minutes. I am just so scared and in a state as I miscarried last 2 very early and have spotted slightly today. 😢

Hi thank you. I will wait I think as I have already had 2 chemicals at 51/2 weeks. I def don’t feel pregnant and I am not hopeful of the test that I dismantled. I will remain positive for next month x

6DPO is very early the egg may not have even implanted yet OP. I would wait until your period is due because our bodies can be cruel and can give a positive and it could be a chemical pregnancy and you’ll be devastated if you bleed. Don’t test early I know it’s tempting but it makes things harder if they don’t work out. I really hope you get a positive again but wait for another 6 days, especially with digital tests it may tell you you’re not pregnant simply because it’s too early (I know from experience). I got my positive on 12DPO in December last year , so wait until then as it’s most accurate . Tests aren’t designed to be taken apart x

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 19:44

I pray you get your bfp. If not already ay fingers crossed. I have 2 sons also they are 14 & 3. Different dads. Just wanted one more before I can’t have kids anymore. My youngest would love a play mate although he says he wouldn’t lol x

@Jaylou7 so sorry to hear about your losses. I can't even begin to imagine how that must of felt 😔 That's my biggest fear. I've only ever been pregnant twice & my boys are now 10 & 14. I'm now 35 & worried it isn't going to happen & if it does I'm worried that something will go wrong. As you've gone through it twice previously I bet you're really anxious if you are pregnant or do get pregnant again. Unfortunately Mother Nature is all out of our control. Fingers crossed if you are pregnant this is third time lucky for you & that little bean will well & truly stick this time🤞🏻xx

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 19:28

@Chlo2701 of cause I will. I don’t have any Fresp tests left but do have 2 clear blue digitals. Personally I really don’t feel pg at all. I mc beg this month and last July. I felt stronger symptoms by now. Oh well. I am 40 so wonder if it’s my age. I had never miscarried until 39. X

@Jaylou7 I'm 11DPO, but the last time I was pregnant was 11yrs ago so I can't remember how I felt early on as was so long ago🙈 good luck when you do test. Please keep me updated xx

IShineAShoe · 25/04/2020 19:18

I’m on the invalid side. I took a frer apart once and there was a very thin pink line, but I wasn’t pregnant.
You are still very early to get a positive result, I’d wait a couple days and test again. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 19:16

Thank you @cookielove I can’t feel happy yet though will do once get a proper bfp x

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 19:15

Yes I definitely agree. How many dpo are you? I’m 6 or 7. I just have a gut feeling I am not as feel nothing and normally do based on my other pregnancies. Good luck to you @Chlo2701 I have a good feeling for you. Xxx

@Jaylou7 my faint line came up within the time frame, but I only took the test apart this evening after reading your post. My friend just sent me what hers looked like when she was pregnant, & ours look the same as hers & hers was a Sainsbury's test, she even said the line was that faint she thought she was imagining it. So tested 3/4 days later & it was darker that time. Her little girls 2 now!
I also did a Clearblue this afternoon but didn't have a line come up.
I'm hoping it's because we're ridiculously early🤞🏻 I've had cramping on & off since the day I ovulated & my boobs last 2 days are throbbing on & off & today my veins in boobs look more prominent. We need to test again in a couple days I reckon xx

TKAAHUARTG · 25/04/2020 18:51

Taking the test apart could have caused it to dry quicker causing evaporation lines. I would just disregard that test and take another in the morning.

cookielove · 25/04/2020 18:43

Yeah some people say its invalid, but i some people don't! I am one of the people that say it doesn't matter!

Congratulations, today you are pregnant!

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 18:11

Hi @Chlo2701 I’m so confused too. I can’t remember if I saw a faint line that well I just opened it quite quickly. I remember seeing something faint. Is yours darker than mine? I have tested negative on two different clear blue so god knows. I feel nothing at all x
