Third thread for ttc!

Hi ladies hope you are all ok, I'm still 3 days away from expected period and cannot eat much... cannot touch sugar ie chocolate it's so strange how early I feel so unwell! Seen on here about hot sweats and I've definetly had that past two days ! No headaches but very tired !

@mumoftwobeauts I know it's so hard to tell if its AF symptoms or not 😅 hoping this is our month 😍

I've been having cramping, nausea, urinating more, hot sweats etc so hopefully! I hate relying on symptoms but I just feel like something's going on!

Thank you @Bbutterfly 🙂 I'm hoping so, another bfn this morning though but I am getting slight twinges and pulling as well as awful head aches throughout the day but really trying hard not to symptom spot 😂 think I will try and wait a few days before testing again. @Naera95 I'm sorry to hear you were upset, I woke up around 2 last night and was feeling so overwhelmed with emotion and just had a big cry too but like @Bbutterfly said your not out until AF comes. Keeping my fingers crossed for you hun ❤ and @mumoftwobeauts is it possible you could have had another surge? I know we can get surges and not actually ovulate throughout the month but I'm not sure if that can happen after ovulation? I've also heard that apparently theres a possibility of pregnancy when you get a strong line on an opk around the time you may get a bfp but probably just an old wives tale. 🙈 hoping you'll get your bfp soon 🙂 xx

@NicoleR14 I think it's too early for pregnancy test yet but will be doing one soon.

Have you been using opks right from your period? One of my friends used to ovulate 2 days after x

@ArjaD I agree I really think your gp needs to be doing bloods on you @NicoleR14 they can't keep just leaving you . Especially as your now heading into month 2 with no AF . They should be looking at it more closely !

I'm on CD 4 today and AF Is officially over so I'm ready to start trying again ! X

I think the gp needs to take bloods, @NicoleR14. My mum in law's pal is forever telling me she was convinced she was pregnant and it wouldn't show up on any tests. Eventually the gp agreed to to bloods and she was like 2 or 3 months along!

Hi @NicoleR14 sorry if you have already said but have you seen your GP yet? If so what have they advised. Without seeming dismissive I have not always found my GP nhs to be most helpful. I ended up going private for a one off consultation and was best £200 we’ve ever spent. This was for my medical condition relating to pregnancy. They seems to tackle it more quickly ? Just a thought x

Just wondering if anyone can help me with this. I had a strong positive on Monday with an opk. Faded through the week until this morning and it's back this colour again. I know it's not a positive but a lot darker than yesterday.

I've had a tugging/aching in my left side a bit like AF cramps but one sided. Could I be ovulating again? AF due next Saturday x

@Bbutterfly thank you so much for your kind words. It really helps being able to write to you ladies who are going through similar things. I am ready for my next cycle and going to try stay as positive as I can

By the way @Naera95 you're not out until af comes! I didn't realise you said af due today? Some bfp don't show until a week after! And that's what Gps say most women get! So don't cry, You're still in for a chance xxx

@Naera95 oh sorry you've had a cry. It's so stressful at times. I've really tried to take a different approach and tried to visualise the family ive always dreamed of rather than focusing on the constant bfn I get meaning I'm focusing on what I don't have. I know it's hard to do that though, we are all so desperate for our bfp it consumes us. I hope you are ok over the other side of the world ♥️ we are all here for eachother xxx

Thank you @Bbutterfly 🙂 I'm such a serial tester 🙈 unfortunately I run out of OPKs (thought I had more than I did) just as the lines were getting darker. Never fully got a positive OPK this month unlike last month and when I did get hold of some the line was so faint so I cant pinpoint exactly when I ovulated, just going by what the app says for now but just in case we've been dtd twice a day everyday since we are both home atm 😂 This is our second month TTC #1 using them but we've been just going with the flow for the past two years hoping it might have just happened without all the stress of TTC but unfortunately no luck so we are properly trying now but it does mean I'm unsure exactly how many dpo I am so still holding out hope I may be testing to early.

@Bbutterfly just took a test at 14DPO at due today and it was negative. Had a massive cry with DH but trying to stay positive for next month for cycle 10!!

Welcome to the group @Charbinxs sorry about your bfn but you still have time! We are all the same and early testers, even though we know we should wait 😂 I'm 8dpo so not far behind you. I'm Really going to try and hold off testing early this month! Hope everyone has had a lovely evening xx

Hello ladies,
May I join? I'm currently 12dpo (I think but may be earlier) and got a bfn today ☹

I'm also massively off my food. Then starving and hour later!

Not testing again now until Monday at the earliest.

I have the following symptoms...
-cramping for 4 days (I never get cramps with and)
-tired v.v. Tired
-pains in my left side, like cramps but a little stronger but it's my third baby so don't know if it's that!
-shooting pains in my boobs
-mucus, thick but not massively noticeable

Are these due to stopping the minipill? I know not to get hopes up but I can't help it!

Hi just wanting to ask what your experience is of getting a faint positive on first response and then a negative on other tests. I have taken two other early tests today with fmu and both blatant negatives. I’m starting to think opening the first response somehow caused the positive to appear and was invalid. I have no preg symptoms at all

@ArjaD Thankyou 🥰 I honestly feel ok with seeing other peoples bfps especially people who I've been on threads with coz I know how hard we all try to get them so I'm genuinely happy to see them. I just find it funny how everyone has been trying for ages then they all come at once 😂
I'm doing some fun things on video chat with my friends tonight so I think that's cheered me up too, first we're doing a quiz and then lockdown lottery 😆so got some good distractions today. Xxx

@dizzy85 I really hope it all works out for you one way or another. It's such a horrible thing to go through and it can't be easy to see all the other bfps. Anything we can do let us know xxx

It's so funny this month, I'm also on another thread I was on ages ago and everyone on there has now got their bfp too and the amount we've had on this thread this month aswell, I think the lockdown has distracted everyone from focusing on ttc as much and made the magic happen!

Anyway I've actually woke up feeling abit better today yesterday I felt terrible but today more myself, the bleeding has been weird and today slowed down but I don't think it's over as I've not passed any tissue which I thought I would do by now, sorry if tmi but I've obviously got to check. Anyway I tested yesterday and today but the tests haven't got any lighter yet I know it can take a while for levels to come down but I was expecting to see a slightly fainter test by now, will just keep testing and see I guess. Xxx
