TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

@SmileyT I am not sure when I ovulated because my CB didn't pick it up (unless it didn't happen) but my apps seem to think it was on CD 9/10 in line with my symptoms CM etc. So that would have given me about a 12 days LP. I am definitely an early ovulator from previous PG.

@Mommybear05 I didn't tell my partner I was using the pre seed and just used half of the syringe. He never mentioned anything but everything felt nicer to me! Seemed like the perfect amount to use. Will use again this month xx

Hi everyone 👋🏻 I’ve been on these threads since January, after a MC in December.

Currently CD17 and waiting for my peak OPK! It’s never been this late before... but I have upped my B6 to 100mg this month (to try and balance hormones and lengthen luteal phase), so it could be that?!

Fingers crossed for us all this month! 🤞🏻🌈

@SmileyT full flow poking 😱 no don’t think so haha. My period is finished now so I think we will dtd every other day anyway. I’ve still got my opks but I put them away in the cupboard because when they were sitting in the en suite I just kept looking at them several times a day like a crazy woman! Haha. Yes I hope we don’t get that far too xxx

Hello again to all of you 👋 Nice that we are all here and going to be around the same timeframe for ovulation/ TWW to help each other out.

@VP91x sorry AF got you but at least your cycle was a bit longer, how long is your LP? Have you had your progesterone checked? I was reading about it the other day and will try and get some bloods done when covid-19 has calmed down. xx

@Quail15 are you tracking with anything this month? And yeah I reckon I'll be testing around the same time but I won't test until AF is due so we'll see when ovulation happens this month xx

@Donnat89 sorry it was a BFN for you, you are still not out but if AF comes you are in good company on the May bus.

@Mommybear05 yeah I feel like I'm just a week behind you at the moment, hopefully you get your BFP and I follow a few days later. Honestly my lovely OH just goes with whatever I say, I think because I was so convinced everything was fine with pg and he didn't really acknowledge my concerns he is overcompensating being overly considerate now. Also no idea with the CP and definitely not poking around in full flow 😂 I've got a drawer full of opks and preseed (tell him I said it's not super lubey and my DP loved it) so I'll use them up but think I'll take a break from it all when it runs out, but hoping I don't get that far xx

@SmileyT @quail15 sorry af got you guys! Big hugs! Smiley you are so very similar to me! My mc 14th March yours 19th. Both at nine weeks and also we both had a 31 day cycle straight after mc. It sucks af got us but I have a good feeling for us both! We both conceived quickly before so this is a good sign!
I love how your dp did a quick google and looked at your temps. I couldn’t get my oh to do that! He is still in the mind of ‘we don’t need all that’ haha. Because he’s off til the middle of May I’m actually going with his thinking and will just dtd every other day this cycle. I really wanted to try preseed (love a bit of lube 😳) but he doesn’t want to. I might have another chat about it today!

To everyone saying they’re checking their cp- I do that loads! I’m trying not to do it so much but it’s addictive! I’m always like ‘does this feel like my lips or my nose’ and ‘is this high?’ Haha.

I just want to sprinkle this new thread with baby dust 👶🌈🤞

Hi @SmileyT and @VP91x I hope it's ok that I join you both. My cramps are getting stronger so I'm definitely out this month.
Hopefully I will be testing next on 16th May IF my cycle settles down but it could be anytime between 14th - 22nd 🤷
