I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

Thanks @Renna xx hopefully I get a fresh start soon, or a bfp, I'm happy with either at this stage. Good luck to you for this month! It's so hard to just let go and relax. I totally get you about the bbt. I feel like I'm googling every little temp rise or fall to see what it means 🤦🏻‍♀️

Renna · 27/04/2020 17:57

Evening ladies xx
Catching up on the thread . I'm the same with taking breaks from things going forward, and how much I post on these threads but cant help see how you're getting on and you're right about the support . Hope everyone is okay xxxx
I'm CD3 . Thought AF stopped last night as no bleeding half of yesterday, none all night but then got some this afternoon , enough for a tampon which was weird as thought it had stopped. But then a 2 day AF would be pretty short even for me as im normally like 4 days . So guess it's good it kinda going back to normal but doesnt normally stop then start like that , guess that can happen after MC with AF going back to normal . ..?

CB all telling me to start testing for ovulation this Friday but I may leave it a few more days as I ovulated around CD13 /14 last cycle .

I've stopped doing BBT this cycle as only did it to check Im deffo ovulating really which it indicated I was last cycle and I got Pg before so other than that I feel like it just gives me something to over analyse ... so I'm feeling slightly better already this cycle not over thinking things as drove me mad last cycle ! And try be more relaxed..

@Rainbowhope11 hiya xx I think maybe after MC if it takes a while for hcg to leave your system it may delay everything so can take some time xx I hope AF shows for you soon though so you can start a fresh xx
@Hayleylou89 hope you're doing ok hun xx I'd start CD1 as the day AF was proper flow no matter what time of day xx

Rainbowhope11 · 27/04/2020 16:26

Hi ladies! I'm joining from the April thread. It's been 35 days since MC, no sign of AF and I think I miscalculated my ovulation dates. I thought I was ovulating 2 weeks ago, but according to my temps, I ovulated a week ago, so I think hubby and I probably missed the boat for this month. My bbt has been rising every day, I'm apparently 9dpo. I'm sure bbt will drop in the next few days and AF will show her ugly face 😫 how is everyone doing today?

Hayleylou89 · 27/04/2020 16:19

@SmileyT ...yeah id think so too, I just changed it, it would make my last cycle 37 days long 🙏 or 37 1/2 considering it was evening when AF showed haha 😂 I know its stupid to be so bothered over a day but a slightly shorter cycle is what i would really like x x

Mommybear05 · 27/04/2020 16:02

@ttcin2020 I know it’s frustrating feeling like nothings going on. My cycle if you count mc as cd1 was 31 days although I was told it could have been longer. It takes a while for things to settle and being patient is really hard! Hope you’re ok x

SmileyT · 27/04/2020 16:02

@Hayleylou89 I'd definitely say that the first day of full flow whatever time is CD1, does that make your last cycle 38 days?

@ttcin2020 how long were your cycles pre-MC my AF was a few days longer than my normal cycle. Did you mean 18days from when bleeding started or stopped? Sorry that you are in the dark at the moment I know it's completely crap 🙁

@Jaylou7 congrats on the BFP please try and be positive and maybe leave it a few days and do another test. The private clinics around me are now open so maybe you could get a private viability scan in a couple of weeks. Sorry that you can't feel hopeful after everything you've been through xx

VP91x · 27/04/2020 15:51

@ttcin2020 your cycle can definitely be delayed! Mine took almost 8 weeks to come back. I am sure yours won't be as long as I had some retained tissue so it was a bit more complicated. If you have had a negative HPT then hopefully not too much longer for you xx

VP91x · 27/04/2020 15:47

@Jaylou7 it definitely doesn't sound like something to be potentially worried about. It definitely could be IB!! Will you test again tomorrow? Xx

Hayleylou89 · 27/04/2020 15:41

@Jaylou7 finally a BFP thats def positive and it sounds like IB that i had which is normal, I had it with my pregnancy i didn't mc as such i lost my baby at 23 weeks due to preterm labour but i wouldnt worry if its just a spot of blood and ur test is quite strong xx congrats to u x

Hope everyone else is ok... CD 5 for me , think this is my lst day of AF 🙏...I decided to change the start of my AF to thursday rather than friday as it was continious from then it wasn't spotting and it started not as spotting so think that would be CD 1 even though it was in the evening when it started? What do u girls think? X

ttcin2020 · 27/04/2020 15:39

31days on from the start of my MC, 18 days from when the bleeding started, 14 days from my 'peak' according to the Premom app (I think the around 29 or lower of HCG in my system affected the result), and 9 days from my negative hpt.

And nothing is happening! FRER negative yesterday, no sign of AF (my boobs normally become massively swollen and painful spot on a week before), CM doesn't seem to have changed at all in the last 10 days.. maybe a little increase but nothing very noticeable.

My OPK are getting lighter and lighter apart from the odd one that's slight darker for a day but still showing a faint line.

I know it's my first month post MC, but with this lockdown and the fact I've been off sick for 4 weeks as I'm a front line worker I feel as though I'm going insane and my body is doing nothing.

@Jaylou7 I can definitely see the second line! Sounds like maybe it could be an implantation bleed at 12dpo so fingers crossed for you🤞🏻

Jaylou7 · 27/04/2020 15:24

Hi won’t let me tag you. Thank you for your comment. The spotting was only when I wiped and stint spot down toilet but just reminds me of prev mc. Only thing is my periods is never due early and it’s 3 days before my period is due. Saying that my last period was a chemical so god knows what my cycle was x

VP91x · 27/04/2020 15:20

Hey @Jaylou7 definitely a second line there. How was much was the spotting? Is it possible that was a bit from IB?

As hard as this is, please try to keep positive as it might not be like before. Xx

Jaylou7 · 27/04/2020 14:16

Hi I’ve just tested and got this within 2 mins. Only thing is I spotted earlier at 12 dpo. This is a BAD sign as both my prev mc have started this way just not this early

Afternoon Ladies, AF has finally started properly again. So I am pleased we can start trying again in a few days.

@Quail15 @francis05 agree with you both in making sure you are balancing time on the threads etc. Sometimes you need them for comfort, I am grateful I have you all to talk to 😊😊 xx

Quail15 · 27/04/2020 11:47

@francis05 I took a break as well sometimes I find it easier to not think about ttc and other times I like the support 🤷

I'm coming up to my fertile days so I have started using the ovulation tests again - usually at this time I'm positive that this will be my month but I'm struggling at bit at the moment.
I think it's because I'm on shift today with my colleague who is due at the same time my baby would have been and I'm feeling a bit jealous that it should be me talking about pregnancy plans as well as her ☹️

I'm sure I'll get over it, just feel at bit rubbish.

I hope everyone else is ok x

francis05 · 27/04/2020 08:26

Morning ☺️ just catching up with the thread, decided to take a break off social media over the weekend. Still no sign of af and can't see her coming anytime soon 😣
Definitely think a lot of my symptoms are all in my head as when I take a break from all the apps & tracking I don't seem to notice any symptoms 🙄

Hoping to see some BFP's in the group soon!!

Wishingfornumber2 · 26/04/2020 22:23

@SmileyT Thanks. Yes husband is going food shopping tomorrow and going to make sure he gets some chocolate in! X

Wishingfornumber2 · 26/04/2020 22:20

@Mommybear05 I was exactly the same! Googling everything this time! Found some pages where people had a prickly feeling and were pregnant and others who weren’t but I was just taking notice about the fact people were pregnant. Also same with my son, was a novice to it all even though it took us 6 months to conceive, I didn’t have any symptoms and just decided to test after a while as I hadn’t been tracking my cycles. Think I will have to try and lay off google this time too! X

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 21:55

@SmileyT Oh definitely. I make a point to never test before my period is due and just try and not overthink the twinges and other ‘symptoms’... Not always as easy as it sounds though 😂 as all of us on here know haha!

VP91x · 26/04/2020 21:43

@Tink20058 completely understand. I felt the same after my MC. Glad you are feeling OK xz

Tink20058 · 26/04/2020 20:56

@VP91x I’m not too bad I have come to terms with it now but it has definitely made us realise just how much we want a baby so I see it as a positive in a way xx

SmileyT · 26/04/2020 20:51

@TerribleImagination yeah I do wonder about symptoms, frustratingly up until implantation it's pretty much the same as AF. Sometimes in these threads it's so easy to get caught up in symptom spotting but I didn't have an inkling in my last pregnancy apart from the fact my period was late. I think it's best just to wait until AF is late and take it from there, but obviously much harder when we are all tracking every little thing not to think ahead. X

@Wishingfornumber2 sorry AF got you, hope you've got a few treats in for the first couple period days x

@Bellabubble I'd agree with the other ladies and count CD1 as first day of full flow x

@Tink20058 good luck for this month, hopefully you have loads to keep you occupied in this TWW xx

Mommybear05 · 26/04/2020 19:50

@Wishingfornumber2 who knows what it is? But like all of us I was there googling it.

I’m really trying not to do that stuff this time. When I conceived my son it was the First time and that was it. I wasn’t too sure I was completely ready for a baby but hubby said we should go for it and I’m so glad we did. I don’t feel I ever would have felt ready as it’s such a big change but anyway I came off the pill and had one cycle, we were pulling out. Then next cycle he left it in and that was it. But I had absolutely no symptoms before I did the test. I waited until I was one week past period due date before testing as well and no symptoms at all although I had been off wine and I’d had a cold sore but thought nothing of it. So I would have been five weeks when I got my bfp. Then for a week I had some mild symptoms and then after that the symptoms got really bad.

I think the point I’m making is that I was one week past my period and I had no symptoms last time so I don’t know why I’m crazy symptom spotting this time. I think it’s cos last time I was so relaxed and I was like oh if it takes a while it takes a while but this time I really want a baby soon. I think we put pressure on ourselves and it’s hard not to work all the googling and stuff! I’m really trying not to this time but don’t know how I’ll be with the 2ww. 🙈 xx

Mommybear05 · 26/04/2020 19:43

@Tink20058 hello and welcome. Sorry for your loss and I hope that you have good news this month. A static smiley so positive too. I’m sure I missed my ovulation after mc. How do you plan to keep yourself occupied in the 2ww? X

Wishingfornumber2 · 26/04/2020 19:30

@VP91x thanks. Yes just got to think of it as a fresh start! X

@Mommybear05 thanks, I’m pleased to hear that someone else has had that prickly sensation too. I wonder what it is? Yes at least we are all in the same boat and understand. X
