I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

Hi All, I hope you don’t mind me jumping on. I found out on the 20th January I was pregnant and carried until I was 9 weeks. Unfortunately at a scan they found the baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks & 6 days. I had surgical management and I’m now in my second cycle TTC since. I’m either 8 or 9 DPO with AF due on the 7th May. I took a test today (couldn’t help it) and it had the faintest line. I don’t know if this is an evaporation line or what! Hopefully this is my chance of my rainbow baby! Spreading baby dust to you all! 🌈

Ahh sorry everything is a bit of an unknown quantity at the moment, but just remember that our bodies have been through a lot and much like our heads they are still working themselves out after an unexpected trauma. Plus sides are that you are back to ovulating and normal cycle lengths it might just take a couple months until it's completely back to normal xx

2nd cycle since MMC and surgery so was hoping I'd be back to normal and what used to happen before MC , as that's not normal for me😓🙄

Renna · 30/04/2020 18:57

Love the rainbow pic 🌈

Renna · 30/04/2020 18:56

So strange .. I'm CD6 ... my period stopped on like CD3 was quite light that last day

Last night we DTD and I did a HIIT work out this afternoon. Straight after the workout I had like a lot of CM and then realised it was like bright red blood but also CM... not like AF blood at all ... almost like blood you see when you've been cut .

Who knows what's going on with my body 😓 I guess DTD or exercise brought it on but that's not normal for me to stop bleeding for nearly 3 days then get that ... I think its stopped now ... 🤷‍♀️😓🤔 xx

HE88 · 30/04/2020 18:54

Hi @SmileyT yeah it has been a welcome distraction never thought I would say that about work ha ha.
Ah that makes sense then I'll not worry too much about it then. Xx

Aw wow @VP91x that's an amazing rainbow 😀🌈. Xx

SmileyT · 30/04/2020 18:48

Hi @HE88 kinda nice being a bit busier at work with something different to think about. I'm CD12 and also using CB and femometer opks, I find the femometer app can be a bit random with the difference between low and high readings when it's quite a faint line, even when I take multiple pics of the same strip it will give different answers. Because the opks don't track oestrogen they will only get strong a couple days around your peak when you have the lh surge rest of the time it will just be negative. xx

Love that pic @VP91x 🌈 ❤️

@Sallyjo27 You’re welcome lovey! ❤️ Xx

Hi everyone I've been quiet the past fews days been busy with work etc.

Sorry to all those that have found their way to this thread hope you find it helpful and supportive.
I'm on cycle day 11 here started using opks on cycle day 8. I use the cb advanced digital in the morning and have started also using the femometer opks in the early evening. On the femometer opks the 1st day was low, next 2 days high then today low again for those of you that use this type of opk is this normal? Xx

ttcin2020 · 30/04/2020 16:33

@2020wish I counted the day the bleeding started properly as CD1 although I had spotting for three days before. I started testing CD10 once the bleeding had stopped. It has been up and down as I had hcg still until around day 18 I think.
I'll attach my pre mom chart.
Hope it helps!!

@ttcin2020 fingers crossed 🤞

2020wish · 30/04/2020 16:04

@ttcin2020 yay!!!! How soon after your mc did u start testing on opks

ttcin2020 · 30/04/2020 15:51

Finally got a positive OPK! Honestly feel just as excited as when I got my BFP. It's 30-33 days after my MC but it's like a weight has been lifted. After a whole month of being so mad at my body finally it's doing something great.

Trying not to get my hopes up too much for this month as my body has been through so much. But fingers crossed May is a lucky one for us all 🤞🏻 🌈

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:48

@TerribleImagination I hope so too!
😂 Isn’t it funny when I was younger I would of killed for bigger boobs now I’m fed up of them getting in the way hahaha.
Ahh that’s a bit of relief! It’s horrible not knowing what to expect so thank you for sharing your experience with me xx

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:45

@bubblybon2020 sorry you have found yourself here. For me my first AF was 3 days late so 34days but it can take 4-6 weeks my EPU told me if AF didn’t arrive after 6 weeks to give them a call.

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 14:42

@Sallyjo27 Thanks lovey ❤️ Yeah it was horrible seeing this bloated ‘bump like’ stomach every day for so long, I’m glad to see the back of it! Hopefully it comes back in the way I want it to soon! 🤞🏻

Fingers crossed your boobs deflate soon! There’s a sentence I never thought I’d say 😂 I had the same with CM! Bloody loads of it some months!

bubblybon2020 · 30/04/2020 14:34

Hi, not sure if I've posted on this thread before.. as I follow so many 🙈 I had a MC on the 9th April, around 8+4. I finally got my negative test today! How long has it taken for AF to arrive; as feel like these 3 weeks have felt like forever already. DTD 3 times during the 2 week after MC, so here's hoping something will appear soon, either a BFP, or AF so I know where I am! X

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 14:17

@terribleimagination that’s exactly what it’s like 😂
Oh gosh! I’m glad it’s all back to normal for you now, that must of been very difficult for you. It’s so cruel as my boobs feel very similar to what they did when I was pregnant (I’ve done lots of tests and I’m not). Maybe it’ll just take a while for mine to go back to normal this is my 2nd period and it was 7 days late. My 1st period after the MMC was a chemical pregnancy. I’ve notice my CM isn’t as it was before either without being tmi there is a lot more than it was before 😳

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 13:47

@Sallyjo27 Haha it’s not at all romantic is it?! On paper it sounds great... Loads of sex... happy days. But after a couple of days you’re both just like ‘eurgh we have to do that again’ 😂

RE the PMS boobs too, I usually get that and again it goes away for AF. That didn’t change post miscarriage, BUT I’ve always gotten really bloated with water retention leading up to AF and after the miscarriage this went for a few days, and then came back with a vengeance! I was bloated (and looked pregnant, which was mean) for probably 3 months after the MC. It just wouldn’t go away! It’s finally gone now, but I do think my hormones were just messed up. I was even referred for tests for ovarian cysts (possible scarier things) because of it, but all clear! I think our bodies go through so much getting pregnant in the first place, gearing up to grow that baby and then losing it... it must t things out of whack for a bit! Hopefully your hormones settle soon! Are you on your first Af since?

Sallyjo27 · 30/04/2020 13:14

@TerribleImagination my DH is exactly the same! I think the pressure gets to him, who would have thought ttc could be so romantic? 😂.

@JMC04 I’m so sorry you are going through this. Take each day as it comes. You could ring your local early pregnancy unit and see if they can give you any advice?

Ladies this is a bit of a weird question- before my MMC and CP my boobs would get quite firm before AF then as soon as AF came they’d go back to normal. I’m on day 3 of AF and my boobs are still like rocks! I think it could be a hormonal thing? Maybe it’ll take a while to go back to normal? Did anyone else have this? I’m worried that my hormones will be a mess and It will stop me from conceiving

JMC04 · 30/04/2020 10:01

@SmileyT thank you for your reply. I've contacted the doctor who has said because it's early we just have to wait and see. I haven't tried another test because she said if it was an early mc then the hormone will still be in my urine for another week at least so no point. Guess I'll just have to wait Sad

SmileyT · 30/04/2020 09:53

@JMC04 sorry you are feeling anxious... if there is nothing on a pad then i wouldn't see it as a lot of bleeding. Have you taken another test and contacted your Dr, you'll need to get checked out. Unfortunately going in for an exam is the only way you'll be able to tell if there is anything to worry about. Personally I'd stay away from reading anecdotal stories as many women sadly lose their pregnancies and many women continue to have happy health pregnancies after a bit of spotting. Fingers crossed everything works out ❤️
