I'm CD1 of cycle 2 TTC #1 so thought I'd start a new thread for anybody in the same situation who didn't get their April BFP.

I had a MMC found on a scan at 9.5weeks after seeing HB at 7 weeks 🙁 I had SMM on the 19th March but no luck in my first month and AF got me today. Normal cycles are 28days so I hope to be testing around the 20th May. This month I will be tracking ovulation using CB connected and trying out Preseed for the first time hoping this helps towards my 🌈 but tonight I'll just be having a G&T 💁🏾‍♀️

Thanks lovelies!! And crossing everything you get yours in two weeks @JoandLily 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

HE88 · 02/05/2020 15:54

@SmileyT I'm still feeling pretty rubbish tbh, had such a horrible sleep was freezing but my body felt warm hoping it doesn't come to anything. Where are you in your cycle? Xx
@Jaylou7 and @TerribleImagination congratulations on your bfps amazing news 😀. Xx

JoandLily · 02/05/2020 15:12

@TerribleImagination HUGE congratulations!! Hoping that will be me in 2 weeks time 🤞 x

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 14:30

Thanks @dinosaur17 ❤️

Yep you’re so right @SmileyT. I’m deffo enjoying this moment, whilst being cautious ❤️ I’m gonna take another test in a week, just to get a better positive on a non FRER, but other than that I’m leaving the tests alone! I’ve seen that line, I know I’m pregnant 🥰

SmileyT · 02/05/2020 14:24

@TerribleImagination Yes I'm coming round to the opinion that our bodies are actually helping us out a lot of the time and they know when the time is right. I know it will be nerve wracking but please take some time to really enjoy this moment, try not to do tests everyday and drive yourself mad with line progression or go mental on google. I have faith that you'll be bringing in 2021 just waiting for your 🌈 to arrive xx

@Quail15 I had 5 mornings of blank circle on CB and then last night jumped to a static smile so you never know it may be just around the corner for you 🤞

@Hayleylou89 yeah I'm kinda wishing I hadn't drillled OH so much before I got the peak yesterday 🤣 oh well he'll just have to pull his socks up and get to work. I also totally know what you mean about having a drink and letting it happen, I've basically cut out alcohol and caffeine if I'm still trying in a few months I'll probably have to rethink it 🍻 The 8th May will come around quick and then hopefully you get one of your 32 day cycles so ovulation comes quick x

@TerribleImagination Congrats!! Fab news!
How is everyone? Haven’t posted on this thread yet as OH has had a bit of a wobble with everything going on at the minute! Fab to see some BFPs though!!!

Just a quick one for all you CM experts! Currently
1 dpo and pretty sure my tracker is correct, got a sky high peak 24 hours ish before/had some streaks of blood in CM. How many days before your peak do you find you get EWCM? Found I had a day of EWCM 4 days before ovulation and then started to get quite sticky until ovulation, now has completely dried up! X

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 14:03

@SmileyT My friend said the same thing this month, that she just had a gut feeling! Thank you lovely ❤️

I went full on and threw everything at it this month haha! Managed SMEP perfectly for the first time (although managed all but that 3rd night in a row every other month we’ve tried), ended up DTD nine times in 14 days!! Crazy... I used pre-seed too, but I’ve used that for a few months now, but made sure to use it every single time. I was already taking seven seas trying for a baby and omega 3, but this month added 100mg of vitamin b6 too and vitamin c after ovulation. I’ve also been eaten chicken and veggies for lunch every day (apparently protein is good for TTC). Also had DP on Wellman conception vitamins and omega 3 and made sure he took them every single day! Lockdown has been helpful for that haha.

Could have just been that my body was ready by month 5 and none of that meant anything, but I guess I’ll never know!

SmileyT · 02/05/2020 13:52

@TerribleImagination this is so strange... after seeing your heart rate and you just generally seemed quite chill in this TWW I had the best feeling for you this month (probs sounds strange from a stranger) but I'm so happy for you ❤️ did you do anything different this month? Or just DTD and crossed your fingers? Xx

5 attempts and 4 full cycles after MC and I got this this morning! 😃 I’m only 12DPO though, AF due tomorrow according to Clue, but last month turned up a day early. Crossing everything it doesn’t show for 9 months! 🤞🏻

Just catching up on the thread since yesterday as spent the day painting! Hope you are all doing well today ladies xx

VP91x · 02/05/2020 11:05

@primrosechill so sorry that you are suffering a loss right now, hopefully your check up all goes well and you are able to TTC when you feel ready.

Be kind to yourself sending you lots of positive thoughts xxx

VP91x · 02/05/2020 10:53

Hey @Jaylou7 did you do another test is the line stronger? I know it must be so hard right now but please try and stay positive and read as many positive stories as you can. It is sometimes easy to read the negatives online.

Have you contacted your GP also? They can maybe book an early scan?

Xx

Jaylou7 · 02/05/2020 10:28

Hi I lost my last at 5.5 weeks on 2nd last month. I’m 4+2 no symptoms at all. Just waiting to lose this one. 😢😢 list another July 19. I’m 40 too. Horrible time. X

primrosechill · 02/05/2020 10:14

Hello ladies, new to this thread but just wanted to say that reading all your stories has filled me with hope, knowing that so many of us are going through similar stuff and that there's so much support out there.

I got pregnant earlier this year and miscarried at six weeks, last weekend. In fact, I don't think I can quite use the past tense yet - I am still bleeding lightly and I still need to go for my checkup on Wednesday to see if everything has gone naturally or if I need any follow-up procedures. I have been feeling so sad and anxious - it was my first pregnancy so now I'm scared that the next time I get a BFP I won't be able to be happy about it - instead, I'll be a ball of anxiety the whole of the first trimester.

I'm going to give it one full cycle before we start trying again, so I'm prepping myself for at least a six week wait until we can start - right now it feels like 6 years!! Wishing you all the best and hoping I can jump back in here when we start ttc again.

Hayleylou89 · 02/05/2020 09:16

@2020wish hey didnt want to ignore ur post, so sorry about ur loss, mine was a bit different i was 1 day off 23 weeks and my waters broke prematurely and i lost her through an infection so i had to give birth but she didnt make it. Then ilthe placenta wouldnt come out so i had to go to theatre and have it manually removed, I bled for about 2 weeks after then got my 1st period 6weeks after the day i gave birth, i didnt have cramps from what i remember though ... its all a bit of blur tbh, hopefully ur back on track before u know it x x

Hayleylou89 · 02/05/2020 09:09

@francis05 Not sure if iron does effect your periods but i was worried being anemic might have and i just wanted to make sure everything was back to normal in my blood before trying again. I had them at about 5 post baby and then my AF arrived about a week later.

@SmileyT this month is compleeetly different to last month i think id already started using cb by now like a dope 🤦🏽‍♀️ I did that one cheapy the other day but havnt bothered since iv still got another week of "infertile" before my "fertile" week so ill start using cheapies first then my cb is asking me to start testing from 8th may ... we dtd yest just because 🥰... im not drilling him too much beforehand this month and make the most of it in fertile week 🤣 thats the master plan anyway....In sept we had a family bbq i was drunk we dtd that night, missed the next day and dtd the next night and thats it, and it wasnt planned like that thats just because we felt like dtd and i was drunk the first night 😂 just want it to happen like that again... i wont even drink now incase i mess things up 🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

Quail15 · 02/05/2020 08:25

@2020wish. Sorry to hear about your misscarrage. I had all sorts of strange symptoms after my MC. I bleed for around 8 days, stopped for a week then started cramping and spotting again around my normal ovulation days, then my first AF arrived after only 3 weeks which was very disappointing as we started TTC straight after MC.

I hope your cycle settles down, it is very frustrating x

2020wish · 02/05/2020 08:14

So it’s been 4 days since I stopped bleeding after my mc. (I only bleed for 5 days- last Thursday til Monday) scan on Tuesday confirmed completed miscarriage.

But today I’ve woken up with really bad back ache and cramps like I’m about to get the worse af ever. Surely it’s way to early? Has anyone experienced this after their mc?

Quail15 · 02/05/2020 08:13

Good morning ladies, I hope everyone is well. @jaylou7 congratulations 🎉.

Sorry that I have been dipping in and out of mumsnet, work has ramped up a bit this week (A&E) so I've had that as a distraction.

I think the increase in work and stress is affecting my cycle ☹️ I am due to ovulate today/tomorrow and I'm having definite ovulation symptoms but no sign of my smiley on my ovulation test 🤷 normally it is spot on, I've never had a cycle without having peak days on an ovulation test since I started testing. I'm starting to get anxious about it - which I know probably isn't helping. I might start testing twice a day next month as maybe I have missed it?

I hope you all have a good weekend x

Jaylou7 · 02/05/2020 07:31
