TTC after miscarriage - May 2020

@Tink20058 congrats!!! That gives me hope. I just miscarriaged on the 23rd. Bleed for 5 days. And started taking opks on Wednesday past.
How far along where u? This gives me hope. I still feel so down about it. When did you start feeling less sad?

@Smiley 6th of April I miscarried I bled for 4 days then started clear blue ovulation tests 11th April and peaked after 10 days had couple of symptoms noticed bumps around my nipples 6dpo and felt like I have been ready to cry all day and just had a odd feeling so fingers crossed now it progresses xx

Hi ladies absolutely amazed had a really odd feeling all day and just did a clear blue and positive 8dpo going to retest in the morning just to be sure ❤️❤️❤️

Not sure what's happening with me at the minute my MMC was medically managed on the 17th feb, had retained product so had more tablets 4 weeks later, only stopped bleeding end of March then 2 days later had what I thought was AF. Then had What was real and very painful AF this cycle. Definitely ovulated this fri/sat as I had 2 peak tests Friday morning and afternoon followed by a lower high test Friday night. Friday night had bad ovulation pain then sat morning low opk test.
DTD yesterday then today I've had cramps like AF backache and leg ache and hot flushes just been to the loo and there's pink blood when I wipe. Spoke to docs last week as I spotted before AF they treated me for thrush which hasn't made any difference. Only thing I can think is I either have an infection or it's the fact I have a cervical erosion and DTD has made it bleed.
I'm going to leave while Wednesday and if it hasn't cleared up Speak to docs they did say I may need swabs although they may give me antibiotics to see if it is an infection so I don't have to go in . Sorry for long post just getting a bit peed off x

Back to DTD and temping and using ovulation sticks. Still can’t believe I’m back here. Hoping for a BFP this month.

@yoomoo welcome to the thread and sorry for your loss. I can't really comment on cycle lengths as mine were a but up and down before my mmc. However that last cycle there was 28 days which is something I've not had in a very long time so who knows. Just make sure you be kind to yourself 😊. Xx

Forgot to add I’m 33 and this is my first although I have an 8 year old stepdaughter who is so lovely. Can’t wait to give her a baby brother or sister! I really wanted a 2020 baby and now that’s not going to happen I’m not fussed anymore when it arrives! It’s funny the ideas we have when we set out TTC isn’t it?! I’ll be 34 next February so maybe I can sneak in around my birthday

Fingers crossed for you @Quail15 my scan didn’t show anything at all, apart from a hermorraghic corpus leutem (spelling probably terrible!) so I did think I must’ve imagined it all but I definitely had positive tests and lots of symptoms for a week!

Thanks @VP91x it’s not nice but I kinda knew there was something wrong as my AF was so late and then it was quite faint, just wasn’t meant to be for me this time.

@SmileyT thank you for sharing about your cycle that’s good to know I guess I’ll just have to wait and see when I next bleed, the lady at EPU said 4-6 weeks after it stops from the miscarriage. Hopefully after that I’ll go back to a pretty normal length, always bang on 28 days which I was surprised at having been on contraception for 15 years!
I had negative bloods and a negative HPT so it’s just a waiting game now.

I’ll try and catch up and remember what stage everyone is at so I can join in the chat!

@SmileyT CD16 and first day of my TWW although I'm not holding out much hope this month but you never know I always go crazy on the symptom spotting it's so hard to take your mind off things xx

Hi @yoomoo sorry that you have had experienced this. Hopefully your cycles are back on track so that you know where you are and can start TTC when you are ready.

@Niisa hope Ramadan has been going well for you. I am sure you will start getting you flashing abd static smileys soon! I am just waiting for AF to finish so can start testing.

@yoomoo nice to meet you. Sorry for what you have been through, it sounds very stressful. I hope you get your bfp soon. I had a MMC at 7 weeks. I went for a scan as I had some spotting but the scan showed the pregnancy had stopped progressing at around 5 weeks. It took my 18 months to get that bfp so I have everything 🤞 that my next bfp doesn't take so long. X

@Jaylou7 and @TerribleImagination congratsssss!!! I’ve been away from Mumsnet the last week as I’ve been busy with Ramadan! First AF post-MMC finished on Thursday and I’m now CD9. Ive had an ⭕️ on my clearblue OPK for the last 2 day - been testing as although my app says I’ll ovulate CD12, in January we DTD on CD9 and I fell pregnant so will keep testing for the next few days.

Hi ladies, is it ok to join you please? I’ve just caught up and this thread seems good and really supportive huge congrats to the BFPs, lovely news 🌈

My story, came off the pill just before Christmas last year. Tried to be chilled about it for a couple of months then March cycle threw a lot at it- vitamins, SMEP and ClearBlue OPK. 28 day cycle normally like clockwork but AF didn’t appear, tested day it was due and BFN so settled into waiting for it to arrive. A week later still no sign so did a test on 3rd April which was a very faint positive, did another on the 5th which was darker. Enjoyed the little bubble but also had a feeling that things weren’t quite right as I knew roughly when I ovulated so it meant implantation had taken too long which is a higher risk of miscarriage apparently. Sure enough for some reason I felt the need to do a test on Friday 10th, it was pretty much negative. Started bleeding heavily on the Saturday, that continued and I called my GP on Monday and as my LMP put me at 6w 3d and my bleeding was quite heavy they agreed to scan me that day. Very impressed with the care I received. Full internal scan showed nothing, had some bloods to rule out ectopic which came back negative so it must have all passed over the weekend. We started TTC again a week after bleeding finished, I think I ovulated last week so I’m in the TWW but not 100% sure. Kept forgetting to do the OPKs think I need the routine of the Clearblue with FMU.

Based on previous 28 day cycle if I go on the date bleeding started then AF should arrive 9th May, I have no sore boobs though which I normally get around this time in my cycle but we’ll see they might appear tomorrow
