Best month to have a baby?

I had one of mine at the end of April. It was a beautiful summer, so she was outside in the pram for most of the day while I washed the nappies and looked after her brothers.

I've had 8 children birthdays in May, June, Beginning and end of August, September, october (2) and November.
If I had to pick it would be late April/early May. Light mornings, decent weather generally not in the morning sickness bit over Christmas (but can legitimately eat a few hoodies and have no guilt!). Not too young in the school year and reasonable weather for parties. Not too near Xmas.

I was due twins in November but they were delivered in September. The pros were...not being pregnant or having morning sickness over the Christmas period. Not being massively pregnant over summer (although I measured term from 28 weeks). Plus I have two September born babies which is a bonus.

My DS was born very end of June, albeit a bit prematurely! Aside from having a rough summer pregnancy (I sweated those days away!) it was good timing for us as my DP is a teacher, so we had the whole summer holidays together as new parents before he had to go back to work.
I had an EMCS so this was really good for me in the early days when I couldn’t do much moving.

We couldn’t time it better if we tried. If we had another I’d be so happy for similar timings.

Only ever experienced a late summer birth where I had my twins and they've yet to celebrate their first birthday, however I wouldn't recommend anyone to be in their third trimester at summertime 😂especially not women pregnant with multiples.

On the plus side, it's late August so they will already be in school and can celebrate with classmates, and you can have BBQs and do outdoorsy stuff. Looking forward to fun birthday parties.

My LO is an August baby and I know people don’t like this as they are the youngest in the school year and won’t have a birthday in school time but the positives:

It felt easier to be up breastfeeding and have little sleep with bright sunny days and evenings. Lovely walks with a newborn
A bbq is such a fun easy option for birthday parties
Less nursery fees as they go to school sooner.

Not December! I have two December babies 🤣

I have July and April babies. April was a good one as the weather wasn't too hot. Being pregnant in July nearly killed me off, I was so swollen 🥵
If I had the choice I'd have spring babies.

Also I'm a November baby and I've never really thought badly about the month I was born. It's far enough from Christmas to not really be an issue IMO. And it's at a time when schools are in so it was always easy to have parties, etc. as a kid.

DD was February and it was pretty nice. By the time we were out and about more frequently it was spring. The Christmas before also felt really special too as it wasn't long till she was due. It's also long enough after Christmas to not get bundled in with it all. I was pregnant during that horrible heatwave we had a couple of years ago though. I was first trimester and the nausea and heat was not a good combo.

OP I'm the opposite of you and always worried they would be too cold so an early summer baby in May was perfect for me : )

Oops posted too soon - I'd always thought a march/April birthday would be nice. Middle age of school year and weather starting to improve :)

I'm due in November and I'm quite pleased with that and your November pros are nice to see!
My birthday is end of June and I love that it's 6 months between birthday and Christmas and love a summer birthday but I was one of the younger ones in my school year.
