Once we have a few BFPs we should start a Facebook group. You can make them completely secret and have to have a link to join so no one else on FB can see you've joined. We did it last time when I got my BFP and obviously it didn't end the way I wanted but it was sooooo good to stay up to date with everyone's progress and symptoms and scan photos etc.

I purchased my tests today but am determined to wait until Friday morning which is a day after AF is due. It’s a two pack just in case I cave a few days before 😂

@HattieHB I know exactly what you mean- I'm 29 now and I'm 30 on Nov 8th, was trying to sneak the wedding in before then, but think I'll miss that boat now!

My thinking is that if you do end up with a preg due date for next year in the next 6 months, at least you can then plan when you reschedule for to fit around it all somehow!? Although if they do allow weddings to happen in October, I'm now facing the prospect of being 6.5 months gone on my wedding day not ideal really but I guess we'll have to go with the flow. I know it's so hard waiting to try when you don't have any idea how long it will take as well, although based on my current situation I would say don't worry about that too much and start trying when you feel read (wedding aside). The other thing is wedding dresses.. no chance of a fitting at the moment so god only knows how that will all get sorted out! I'm trying to think about it too much atm as it's all making me feel a bit crazy!

@sachaf08 Oh my god- we’re wedding twins!!! We were hoping to start trying once we were married or slightly sooner but if we postpone until next year, I’ll be 32 and it just feels like such a long time away. I don’t want to compromise on our wedding day and I don’t want to wait to try?! 🤷‍♀️

@Noble89 thank you so much, yes I feel very lucky, was fully expecting to have to try for ages, can't actually believe it's happened! Obviously it's early days yet. I've been reading on here about your experiences, really hope you get some good news very soon, you certainly deserve it after what you've been through xx

Hi HattieHB, it wouldn't let me tag you for some reason, but I'm in the same boat, wedding 24/10 and starting to feel like postponing it will become inevitable. We were going to start TTC in September regardless but I just found out I'm pregnant this week (it's still very early and a big surprise). I'm a bit anxious about it happening far earlier than I thought it would but we, like you I suspect, didn't want to put our lives on hold indefinitely while we wait for everything to get back to normal! What date is your wedding? x

Hi everyone, so due to get married this year (October) but with everything happening we are most likely going to postpone. Therefore we’re considering trying for a baby as we don’t want to wait a year. Is anyone else out there doing the same?

Hello, I hope you don’t mind me jumping in on this one but I’m currently in my first TTC cycle after having the Mirena removed and am currently 9DPO as far as I know. We only DTD on ovulation day as, to be honest, I didn’t really know how to start TTC! This TWW is driving me a bit insane so it would be nice to have people to talk to 😊

@EllieJai44 5DPO for me and will be testing at 10DPO on Thursday. I'd like to wait longer but I know I won't 😂.

@SmileyT that's a good way to look at it. I'm just wishing the days away. I totally get it, it's sooooo hard not knowing. I think the biggest thing is wanting to be put out of your misery if you're not pregnant. Like waiting the longest two weeks in history just to be disappointed is awful. If it's not going to be my month I'd just like to know and deal with it asap so we can move on.

@sachaf08 when you go for your 12 week scan they will probably date you but as you will be so early will probably book you in for another scan a couple weeks later to confirm the babies growth. If you really want to know now I'd go for an early scan, the clinics around me have reopened (not sure if that is the same everywhere). Definitely come back and let me know how you get on x

@EllieJai44 ahh could definitely be an IB if it didn't continue, I've never had one so can't give you any practical advice on what it should/ shouldn't be though. Keep positive because our bodies do like to confuse us but hopefully it is good news.

@Noble89 that sounds like a lush day and nice bath and chilled night will be perfect. At least with a bit of work tomorrow you can hopefully pass another 24hrs of the dreaded TWW. I've done a workout and 2 meditations today but it is starting to get to me. I was so determined not to be negative but it's trying to creep in 😩

@Noble89 I hope so its so odd, ive had no more all day, I think im still gonna test at 10dpo if no more bleeding

@SmileyT I wish I'd written things down last time. I remember thinking I wouldn't need to as I was so happy and excited I'd definitely remember and obviously that's definitely not the case 😂. Honestly don't let that discourage you, the symptoms of pregnancy are basically the exact same as PMT. Our bodies lovely way of tricking us!

I've been for a lush 5 mile walk with the dog in the sunshine and I'm now gonna have a nice bath and a chilled out night. I'm working tomorrow which is a blag but hopefully it'll still be nice and I can work from my garden!

@SmileyT nothing else! Was red but not as red as period and watery and but was probably only a few drops, just looked more on paper haha

Average resting Heart rate is higher today after a dip yesterday 🤷‍♀️ im never early for a period so totally confused lol

@SmileyT Thank you so much for your kind reply!Aaargh I didn't even think about the fact that they would give me a 12 week scan early because of 2 absent AFs! I'm pretty sure I can't be as far along as that, I gave in to temptation just now and did another CB and it has changed from 1-2 to 2-3, that's from Weds 6th to now. I might be putting a bit too much faith in the tests dating ability, but it does sort of make sense in terms of implantation cramps that I would be only 4 weeks atm.
Speaking of implantation cramps- if that's what they were, they were absolutely awful. Woke me up in the night several times for a few days and I nearly vommed a few times! It was like bad period cramps but not constant, happened maybe every hour. They've got much better over the past couple of days but still niggling cramps every now and then. From what I've seen on here many people get fairly severe implantation cramps.

Well @Noble89 you say this but @babyG123 had nausea from 2dpo and got her bfp yesterday, so who knows what our bodies get up to. I've just had a look back at my notes from last month and my mood/ twinges seem to exactly mirror last month 😕

@EllieJai44 I'm glad you had a good morning but can totally understand being a bit confused. Have you had any other bleeding today? Does sound around the kind of time that it could be IB especially if it was only a few drops and doesn't return.

@sachaf08 congratulations 🥳 and you are very blessed to have avoided the whole stressful ttc part of getting pg. Honestly as you weren't tracking ovulation there is no way to say how far along you are exactly. The digital tests work within boundaries and will depend how high/low your hcg is as to how accurate they are for you. The midwife will take your dates from your last menstrual period (LMP) so if that was about 8 weeks ago you'll probably get a 12week scan pretty quickly and then at the first scan they date you from the actual size of the baby and give you an estimated due date (EDD) ❤️❤️

Hi everyone, I'm 100% new to this as I've found myself with a BFP very unexpectedly. It's been a complete shock, obviously we're happy but it doesn't seem real. I'm really confused about the dates however, I'm assuming I'll need to wait till a scan to find out properly.

Basically I totally skipped my AF last month, I'm assuming I just didn't ovulate due to lockdown stress. I actually did some tests a few weeks ago as I couldn't understand what had happened(all BFN). Then last Friday (1st May) I started having AF like cramps and nausea, dodgy tummy etc. I assumed AF was coming or that I had a bug or food poisoning, when I got to Wednesday 6th and it was still happening something told me to take a test, and I honestly couldn't believe my eyes when Pregnant 1-2 came up on the screen! I then confirmed it with another 2 tests.

I think the hardest thing for me to wrap my head around is that this has nothing to do with my interrupted cycle last month, as I must have ovulated 2 weeks ago based on the test, and we had sex around then. Sorry for this very convoluted story, basically what I'm asking is, is it at all likely that the 1-2 (3-4)weeks could be wrong and I'm actually further on than this? I'm thinking the cramps etc could have been implantation which would have made sense as it was about 6/7dpo if I'm assuming the CB test was correct. I'm totally new to this, it's been really helpful reading through this thread as it has helped me learn.

Our wedding is later this year, but with the current situation we're expecting to maybe have to postpone, and so we were thinking about starting TTC in September anyway, but it's a huge shock that it's happened now more or less by accident!

Morning ladies, this morning I woke up feeling great, had some alone time with hubby 😏 and then did a few jobs around the house, then just been to the toilet and wiped and blood on the tissue!? Wiped again and there was less, then third one was gone... put a tampon in just in case but I'm so confused, my heart rate hasn't dropped, I dont feel like its my period and it hasn't started like it... plus I'm only 8dpo (using OPKs) and still 6 days from period?!

Implantation bleeding has crossed my mind but it was red not pink?
