@gb000 yep all I see is positives too, congratulations! X

Ltay2 · 28/04/2020 07:54

@gb000 They all look like good positives to me too!

KateColx · 28/04/2020 07:17

@gb000 hi, all of this is very new to me so I'm not sure how much help I can be but all tests look like very clear positives to me - congrats 🥰 I wouldn't worry too much about it getting darker as it's still early days, I'm sure as you get nearer to and past AF it'll become darker ☺️ x

gb000 · 28/04/2020 06:29

Omg I am an idiot I meant I got a BFP on Sunday, and then MONDAYS FMU was getting darker. I mislabelled the photo too. Why am I like this...sorry omg so many posts BlushBlush

Ladies, please can you help me?

(Posted accidentally on main board first)

I got my first ever BFP on Saturday, v faint line on a one step at 11DPO, FMU. At lunch time I took a digi and a Sainsbury's and both said pregnant!

On Sunday FMU, the one step looked to be getting darker.

However this mornings FMU has not darkened the one step. But I get a very clear line on the FRER, though it could be darker (13DPO today, period due on Saturday since I have long cycles).

Should I be worried the dip test isn't much darker today? I thought they were supposed to get darker every day.

My chart still looks good. Photos attached & continued in comments.

Please help calm my nervous mind if you can!

(And no I don't plan to test every single day forever...this is just my first so I am very nervous!)

@KRK05 🤞🏼🤪

@Ltay2 mine is awful. Not been in a good way at all!

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 20:36

@babyG123 I feel like my nausea isn't really extreme enough to notice so doubt it's anything. Maybe nerves! I've never noticed feeling nauseous before around ovulation either.

@KRK05 Oh I hope so, but not going to think too much into it! Sore and leaking nipples sounds horrible, hope they feel better soon. I get itchy nipples quite a lot, due to eczema mainly but that's bad enough!!

KRK05 · 27/04/2020 20:25

@babyG123 @Ltay2 Both your symptoms sound very positive 🤞🏻

KRK05 · 27/04/2020 20:24

I've had really sore nipples & leaking today, just my right side, so weird cause that's only ever happened after I give birth to my son, it does say online can happen if a loss was over 14 weeks which mines wasnt so it must be something else! It's the leaking thats thrown me so weird, I've probably got something wrong with is now just to contribute to my crap luck 😂

babyG123 · 27/04/2020 20:21

@Ltay2 hoping I don't feel the same again tomorrow! If I do I may be suspicious. I know you can feel sick with ovulation but I've never had this before..... I know as I have a fear of being sick 🤦🏼‍♀️

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 20:12

@babyG123 It's so strange isn't it. I haven't left my house other than to walk down the street for weeks so doubt I have got a bug, although I doubt it's anything else either. Maybe just one of those days!

babyG123 · 27/04/2020 19:54

@Ltay2 funny you say this as I've been feeling so sick the last couple of days. Today's been awful from the minute I got up until 3 ish when I stomached some toast.

Keep just telling myself I've caught a bug (even though I haven't been out in 6 weeks and clean everything that enters my house!!!)

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 19:31

@bribeard22 It takes a bit of getting used to haha. To reply to someone specifically then click reply at the bottom then type '@' and it will come up with a list to select someone from.

bribeard22 · 27/04/2020 19:18

Sorry guys for the late messaging! I was buying materials to make some masks (long story) and I dont quite know how to use this app yet? I dont know how to comment back to people on here, kind of clueless to be honest!

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 18:51

Feeling quite emotional today, don't feel 'sad' about anything in particular but keep finding myself on the edge of tears for no reason! Also feeling slight waves of nausea but nothing to put me off eating, in fact my appetite/metabolism has been sooo high yesterday and today. I never feel hungry so I can definitely notice it 🙈 had a huge lunch as well.

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 17:03

@KateColx I am 4DPO today and not going to test until AF is due/late which should be 7th May. So still a long way to go yet!

@bribeard22 Welcome! I can totally understand the stressing as I am exactly the same 😂 TTC #1 too, cycle 2 technically but the first cycle really checking.

Panda789 · 27/04/2020 16:51

I'm currently 11dpo and going to try and hold out testing until AF is due, although I just have a feeling it's not my month this time x

KateColx · 27/04/2020 16:49

@KRK05 thanks lovely! Haha it feels like it's dragging already, no doubt I'll be ready with my FRER in hand this weekend 😅😂

@Ltay2 early detection ones are definitely a good shout! Remind me where are you in your cycle? Will you be testing soon?

@SmileyT that's a nice way of looking at it, I guess you do just have to do what feels right for you. It's so easy to get caught up in what everyone is either doing or saying is best to do. Hahahahaha so true! Every single twinge or feeling I'm on to google comparing it to an early symptoms list 😂

Fingers crossed this is a lucky thread 🥰

Welcome @bribeard22 💛

KRK05 · 27/04/2020 16:34

@bribeard22 Hello, glad your joining us 😊 sending u lots of baby dust! Try not to stress, although that is easier says that done. I started this month determined I had to have that BFP by May & then symptom spotting so stressed myself out but the past few days I've relaxed a bit more convincing myself if it doesnt happen this month then on to the next cycle, it will happen when the time is right & I want it to be a lovely experience not every month spent googling every little twinge 😂 although I can see if somebody has been trying lots of months why it can be disheartening & I'm sure I would be the same. I agree with @SmileyT about making the journey enjoyable & positive 😊

SmileyT · 27/04/2020 16:07

Welcome @bribeard22 how are you tracking ovulation? I'm ttc #1 and it can definitely get overwhelming but I've learnt from this group it's really good to enjoy the journey. If it takes a year you don't want it to be a year of sadness and anxiety 🙂 we've had fun discussing nurseries and baby names as a distraction from the hard bit of waiting ttc xx

bribeard22 · 27/04/2020 15:57

Hello! Is it okay if I join? This is 2nd time ttc baby #1 I believe I just ovulated either yesterday or the day before. I'm fairly nervous because I didnt think it would be this stressful ttc? Trying not to make it stressful but it's kind of hard.

SmileyT · 27/04/2020 15:45

@KateColx I totally understand the desire to test early, as with everything in this TTC world it's about doing what makes you feel best. Some people like to be doing something so testing everyday from 9dpo until AF works, for me I think it'd get me down but there is no right or wrong, it doesn't change the outcome. Ahh you're in the nervewracking bit, trying not to look for symptoms but also thinking every fart might be an early pg sign 😂

I'm excited to start seeing some BFPs as we move into May this weekend ❤️

Ltay2 · 27/04/2020 14:55

@KRK05 Totally understand why you would want to be cautious, so sorry you went through that.

@KateColx I went for one step ovulation tests which I've been using all along and they came with a few one step pregnancy tests. I've also ordered some early detection ones from Zoom Baby.
