BBT Chart — should it be dropping 3dpo?

Good Morning,

This is my first proper month charting religiously and at the same time each morning. Should I be concerned that my temp is slowly declining post ovulation? It’s not below the cover line yet, but it’s getting there. Any interpretation or opinions gratefully received xx

@Ashworth90 so fertility friend has pushed my ovulation day back to the same day as my peak like fermometer 🤔
I'm panicking now that we didn't manage to dtd on the 22nd 😣 it's all fallen at a rubbish time this month we sold our house & had to move out on the 22nd. Typical!

12dpo today and I think my test looks darker than yesterday Smile temp dropped by 0.9c but still above 37 degrees. AF due on Tuesday so 🤞🏻 this bean sticks!

@Ashworth90 oooh i see thanks! Be interesting to see what happens tomorrow then 🤔 I hope it's the same as one of my other apps or ill not have a clue when I actually ovulated 😂

@Lily2020 it's likely that FF hasn't identified you as ovulated yet. I got the crosshairs once my ovulation had been confirmed with the three high temps :) I much preferred FF's chart than Fermometer. But Fermometer has the better app for uploading ovulation sticks.

@Ashworth90 just a quick fertility friend question, I've downloaded the app & input all of my data - my graph doesn't have the red crossed lines on it, do I need to upgrade?

@Milkshake54 oh many congrats to you! 🎉🎉 yeah, charting has been stressful in the 2ww for sure, but it has been good to see the progression. I still don’t quite believe it! 😂

Your chat looks like mine and I got my BFP this month too 🎉. I stop charting after confirmation of O because it was making my mental health poor when I saw my temp dropping, but since getting my BFP my temps have sky rocketed!

@Lily2020 oh man... that makes me nervous 😂🙈 my temp went up this morning and so I did another IC and it seemed darker. I caved and did a FRER... I had a BFP! 🎉 but I’m 11dpo and so now I’m just hoping it sticks 🤞🏻

I know it's so hard to tell if the lines not obvious when you test so early on but I can't help myself!! I had a line on an FR at 11 dpo last month & stupidly got excited then every one after that was a bfn 🙄 also showed my hubby which was a mistake as now he's very against testing before af 😂

Fingers crossed for you, all the signs are good! 🤞🏽

@Lily2020 sorry I forgot to update this morning. I am really, really trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I had an increase this morning after yesterday’s dip 🤞🏻 I did an IC and can see something but second guessing whether it’s an indent / evap, so trying again tomorrow morning to see if it’s stronger!

Took a big dip in temp this morning, but at 9dpo could this be an implantation dip? 🤔 fingers crossed we might go back up again tomorrow! Had some low cramping the last three days and I have noticed quite prominent blue veins all over my boobs in the last 24 hours!

9dpo today... that temp is still rising! Anyone share any insight on a triphasic pattern chart? Would you consider mine to be heading into that pattern? I see three temp rises which is why I thought it could be? 😊

Good Morning! Just thought I would pop on with an updated calendar a few days later. It is looking pretty good at the moment with another slight rise this morning at 6DPO.

@Ashworth90 don't be silly, not your fault some people have to come here and nit-pick before reading a full post. Your coverline seems quite high, your average pre-OV temps are around 36.45 so the rise you have is well above. Good luck! X

As long as they stay above the cover line then you've probs ovulated. I used to use cheapo ovulation tests to be double sure when it was.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your posts yesterday and I apologise as I didn’t mean to cause any conflict. I have just done today’s temp and I am pleased to see it has shot up! I have been googling and I am thinking this could be what they call ‘a fallback rise’? Fingers crossed next month will help me start to learn a more noticeable pattern, so I don’t have to ask questions Grin

@Lily2020 I know Jesus! I admit I didn't exactly word the whole post very well but what I meant was that there is a possibly that ovulation hadn't happened yet and to see what the temps play out over the next few days... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Anovulatory cycles are very common once in a while. I've had one, it's not an issue if it was the case. And on the other hand temps can't always be accurate.
