Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

Hello everyone can I join too! Been TTC number 2 since Sep 2015. I have stage 4 endo. First month of clomid this month and I got a positive OPK 2 days ago so I'm either 1 or 0 DPO. Happy to have some company on the dreaded TWW. Good luck everyone. Hope we get lots of BFPs to distract from the awful Covid news

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 14/04/2020 15:49

Hi, I’d love to join. I’m 1DPO only 2nd month of trying to conceive our 2nd. DS is 6. I hate the 2 week wait

Optimistic36 · 14/04/2020 15:42

Hello everyone!

Me, first cycle seriously TTC, tracked ovulation and seemed to do it around the ‘right days’ (who actually knows when we ovulate!), so now just waiting. Currently 14 DPO and have no symptoms of AF or BFP whatsoever? Been testing with cheapies but all BFN so far!

Last month by pure chance we had sex around ovulation and had ALL the symptoms of pregnancy during the TWW but got AF... Minds really do play tricks!

Lots of love to everyone out there, we will manage!

Elenor1010 · 14/04/2020 14:26

hey all, first month tracking ovulation but 4th cycle off the pill. New here so still getting used to the lingo.
I am 3dpo.
Fingers crossed for everyone 🤞

sakuramiyagi · 14/04/2020 14:00

Hi everyone. I'm 9DPO and this is our second month of actively TTC. I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks previously. Following that we stopped TTC. But since late last year, we felt the urge to try again.

I've been using OPKs and tracking my symptoms with the Ovia app. Previously when I fell pregnant I was taking my BBT, I'm considering starting this up again in conjunction with the OPKs.

I have a bad feeling that we will be getting another BPN this month as I'm getting the same symptoms I got last month when AF appeared early.

ChattyMum86 · 14/04/2020 13:43

Hi everyone, I'm new to the group so still getting to know all of the jargon, but I think I'm getting there. I 'think' I'm on my TWW but haven't actually been tracking my ovulation with a test. I've just estimated when I believe I usually ovulate based on when AF usually comes.
Hope this all makes sense and wishing you all the best of luck Smile

gingerglitter4ever · 14/04/2020 13:17

For all of you who have been pregnant before, what’s the earliest you’ve tested positive? I’m probably going to order some early response tests online so I don’t have to go to the pharmacy.. I’m due AF in a week and I’m thinking the tests may take a few days to arrive?
What do you guys think? 🙈

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 11:43

Hi @Olivia2020! Fingers crossed for you for this month🤞🏻

Hi I am 4DPO so I will join :) Agreed it's even harder with lockdown - could do with something positive though!

Baby dust to all

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 11:28

@incywincyspiders Never say never, would love for it to be 2020 🤞🏻 My dates are looking at 7th January if we conceive this cycle. I agree with you, hubby did say that he didn't want to put our life on hold and I agree because like you say it could take a while. We're at home during lockdown and I'm not going out unless absolutely necessary, so we're just being careful.

That's great that you've ovulated straight away. My cycles went back to normal straight away too. I'm anything from 25 days to 28 days. I had previously read online that some women who had been on the pill found it took forever for their cycles to return to normal so I was panicking at first.

incywincyspiders · 14/04/2020 11:19

@KSI88 same with me! I've actually only been on the pill for 1 and a half years but I was convinced that it would take ages to get my cycle back. Came off on 23rd March and tracked with OPKs and thankfully I ovulated only a few days after I "normally" would. I've read a lot of people say on here that it's irresponsible to ttc while corona is going on but honestly, like you said, there is no right time to have a child. And it might take a while anyway so I just thought there's not much point in waiting around.

It might be 2020 if you conceive this month! my potential "due date"says 1st January...

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 11:11

@incywincyspiders There's never a perfect time to start trying for a baby is there? We weren't sure what to do with this Coronavirus but here we are 😁 I had my first at 26 and I'm 32 now. I had been on Cerazette since having my daughter 6 years ago so I was worried it would take forever. At least we now know i can still conceive. I went and bought a 'Born in 2020' baby grow too in Feb - silly me because it won't be 2020 now. My own fault!

OP posts:
incywincyspiders · 14/04/2020 11:04

@KSI88 got my fingers crossed for you too!! I can imagine it's difficult if you had a fast conception the first time to waiting for your second.. I'm just worried as I'm 31 that it's going to take a long long time. I've wanted to start trying for a while but my partner wasn't quite ready.

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 10:59

@Felicia6 Well I hope this month you get your BFP. Our bodies like to play tricks on us all the time!

OP posts:
KSI88 · 14/04/2020 10:58

@incywincyspiders Exciting times. I hope you get your BFP this month. We were very lucky with our 1st who's now 6. We conceived first try with her. I didn't think it would be so easy this time round and I was right! Spending most of my time in the garden to distract me and to stop me from eating everything in sight! I'm going to try and wait until 24th to test 🤞🏻

OP posts:
KSI88 · 14/04/2020 10:55

@Nat4392 Yes you're absolutely right. It costs a fortune. I've went online and bought lots and lots of cheap tests to start using. I hated wasting FRER's too. I'm just too tempted all the time because I know they are there. Part of me wants to see how early I can get a positive too - that didn't help me with my chemical in Feb. If I'd have left it, it would have just been like a late period for me and would have saved a lot of heartache. Let's see what happens this month.

OP posts:
Nat4392 · 14/04/2020 10:46

@KSI88 don’t get me wrong, I was a serial tester from 9DPO when I first started TTC but I came to realise I was basically peeing on money every month and I’d be so gutted seeing a negative result. I’ve found it easier mentally (and financially!) to just wait for AF. I’m only on cycle #8 and I stopped testing around cycle #5 and it’s really helped keep me sane!

incywincyspiders · 14/04/2020 10:32

@KSI88 no, no children yet. Do you? This is the first month TTC ever so I know that this journey could take a long long time and that makes me anxious (as I'm sure it does everyone). How are you going to pass these next two weeks?? It's even worse cos of lockdown I think!

Felicia6 · 14/04/2020 10:12

@KSI88 I plan on testing only when im atleast 5/6 days late. Hoping I can make it that far...So i have this thing whenever I take a test when im late then that same afternoon AF will shows up! What about you? When are you planning on testing?

gingerglitter4ever · 14/04/2020 10:09

@KSI88 thanks! I’m due AF on the 21st, so Tuesday next week 🤞🏻 I hope this month is my month 😊 I’m having some cramping, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign that I’m impacting?
how are you doing?

KSI88 · 14/04/2020 10:03

@gingerglitter4ever Hoping you get your BFP this month! As you say it only takes one! When are you planning on testing?

@Felicia6 I know what you mean with your mind playing games. The only month I didn't symptom spot I got my BFP. When are you going to test?

@Nat4392 Can I have some of your willpower? I'm a nightmare for testing early!

OP posts:
KSI88 · 14/04/2020 09:54

@incywincyspiders I'm the same as you. It's so hard! Do you have any children just now or would this be your first?

@ZRS86 I know, it's really hard not to symptom spot. We've been trying since October and every month I was certain that every twinge in my lower abdomen was it! When I had my chemical in Feb I did notice very creamy CM before my BFP but looking online we all have different symptoms. Wish it was something obvious so that we knew for definite! Grin
