Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

If you don’t have any in the house you can’t test lol!

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 18:40

I'm going to try and hold off until 10dpo. Only 4dpo today. Trying to busy myself!

I’ve just tried to work out how many dpo I got a positive test, I think it was 14 and 12, both weren’t all that clear and I had to test again the day after to be sure. I hadn’t tested before this either time though.

lk123 · 15/04/2020 18:34

So true!! Defo gonna wait for the weekend as will be 11dpo then:)

incywincyspiders · 15/04/2020 18:33

I'm going to try not to test until I'm 12dpo but that's another 9 days away and I'm already losing my mind 😂

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 18:21

@lk123 Oh no that's not so good but there's still plenty of time. I got my BFP at 11dpo in Feb. Some of these tests are so cruel. I've had evap lines that really do look positive. Everything crossed for you Grin

7 days after ovulation is vv early to test, I’d save your tests until you are 11/12 days. I’m 14 days past ovulation today, depending on whether my period comes on Friday I’ll test sometime over the weekend. We only just started trying for our 3rd, our children are 4 and 2. There wasn’t much in the way of trying needed with the other 2 we are very lucky, but I’ve got a feeling as we both turn 37 this year I think it might actually take longer than 1st go that’s why I decided to post this time (I never did with my other pregnancies). Our attempt was probably a little half arsed this month too I think we managed sex twice if that inside what I think was my fertile window, it isn’t easy to have sex when your kids are around pretty much 24/7!

lk123 · 15/04/2020 17:59

@KSI88 bfn this morning:(. going to hold off until Sunday as I’m only 7dpo atm! Still hopeful but that was a bit gutting haha

GinIsTheOnlyTonic · 15/04/2020 16:03

I think when you are TTC you become so finely tuned to your body you notice every little twinge don't you and yes agree that its really hard to distinguish PMS symptoms to PG symptoms! I've had my hopes up SO many times to then get AF - it's really hard. Every month I say I won't symptom spot and then here I am again Hmm

incywincyspiders · 15/04/2020 13:30

Woke up today with such painful boobs which is very unusual for me! although it's more in one than the other!

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 13:12

@Loves2Read Hi! Glad to see so many ladies are joining this thread.

Please do let us know how you get on when you test 🤞🏻

Hi ladies, how is everyone doing?

I'm only 3dpo I think but I have sore nipples this morning. Not sure if it's from when DH and I were DTD though 🙈

Also have a bit of a headache and just feeling generally tired.

@lk123 Did you manage to take another test this morning?

Olivia2020 · 15/04/2020 09:09

I know it's so annoying! 😩I definitely didn't notice my PMS symptoms as much/ as early as I do now during TTC!

Nat4392 · 15/04/2020 08:51

Morning 😊 currently 7DPO I’ve had realllly sore boobs for like 5 days now which are gradually getting worse. I also had some mild cramping yesterday evening. It’s so annoying that PMS and pregnancy symptoms are so similar!! 😭

Loves2Read · 15/04/2020 08:28

Morning! I’ve had cramping, sore breasts too and I’ve felt like that since about 4DPO. I’ve read so much and everything I’ve read says that PMS/ early pregnancy symptoms are practically identical so it’s really hard to tell which is annoying 🙄. Fingers crossed for everyone 💙

Olivia2020 · 15/04/2020 08:21

How is everyone? Any symptoms? The past few days my nipples have really hurt (I just assumed it was to do with post ovulation) but today I've woken up and they are sooo painful. Has anyone ever had this and got a BFP? I'm 5DPO so still really early days!

Loves2Read · 15/04/2020 08:10

Hi everyone
I’ve just joined mumsnet and this thread is just what I’m looking for. Hope it’s ok to join you 😊.
We’ve been ttc since January 2020. AF was due yesterday and no sign but I’m going to wait until tomorrow maybe before testing. I’ve had cramping the past week and felt a little more tired but I’m trying not to read to much into things. Looking forward to hearing how everyone gets on this month 💙

onedream · 15/04/2020 07:47

Hello everyone x
I'm 4 dpo TTC #3
I have little boy who is 4, after him I had mc at 8 weeks and after that and 11 months of trying we conceived my rainbow baby who just turned 1 last week..would love one more baby to complete our family but if it doesn't happen I am happy with what I have..(I'm 37 next month)

I have ovulated early this cycle and due AF on 28th I think..

Fingers crossed everyone x

AutumnJ0y · 15/04/2020 00:05

Hi Ladies 🙋🏻‍♀️ can I join?

I'm 33 and on cycle 4 of TTC #1. Although cycle 1 and 2 were really relaxed and i didn't really realise how much planning is needed for TTC. I always (wrongly) assumed it was as easy as unprotected sex! I have now become somewhat become obsessed!

I'm due to ovulate tomorrow and then I start the dreaded TWW. I'm new to Mumsnet too, have been peaking and decided to post today.

I completely understand what you mean @MissAR, we haven't told anyone we are trying either, I have no friends with babies or anyone currently pregnant so i get that it can be a lonely journey.

Fx for everyone!

DontStandSoClose · 14/04/2020 23:57

@MissAR I’ve never had any symptoms at all until 6/7 weeks pregnant, I know some people think they have pregnancy symptoms the day after they’ve had sex but I think a lot of the symptom stuff is very much psychosomatic in many cases. So I wouldn’t go off not feeling anything as a sign you aren’t pregnant.

MissAR · 14/04/2020 22:41

Hi @lk123 I think I can see something 🤞🏻good luck

MissAR · 14/04/2020 22:36

Hi everyone 👋🏻
Would like to join...haven't told anyone we are TTC and this feels lonely as my DP have no clue what I am talking about (he ask me all the time bless him but I know that as soon as I start talking about dpo and sticks, eggs and uterus, he is out )so I m very happy to find this website.
Currently 5dpo on cycle 5 of TTC our first.
No symptoms yet.Am I the only one who now thinks no symptoms it's a good sign?😅 used to be really sad when had no symptoms but after reading about others experiences with bfp and no symptoms at all, I have started to be optimistic. One can dream right?🥰
Fingers crossed for everyone!🤞🏻

DontStandSoClose · 14/04/2020 22:30

Hi, I’m also on the first month of trying. I think I am around 13 days past ovulation, although I don’t use tests or take temperatures, I get obvious ovulation pains so I know around what day I ovulate. I’ve used a period tracker app for quite a few years after I came off the pill too. Just waiting to see if my period shows up on Friday.

lk123 · 14/04/2020 22:11

I have plenty more lol! Will do one tomorrow morning and update xx

fiona2911 · 14/04/2020 22:03

Hi everyone,

I'm in the TWW as well, 3dpo and AF is due 26th. Trying for #1 currently.

Nice to know lots of others are going through this as well :-)
