Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

I'm the opposite I normally get very sore boobs when my period is coming but they aren't sore at all and it's due tomorrow. I also normally feel crampy by this point too now I think about it, we'll see if my period shows up tomorrow! I don't have any tests in anyway so will have to wait until we go food shopping at the weekend to get a test if it doesn't show, I don't want to go out just for a test.

xyloto · 16/04/2020 11:42

@KSI88 to myself I said the day before sorry. He doesn’t know my plan 🙃

incywincyspiders · 16/04/2020 11:41

Still on the sore boobs train here too 🚂 bit of nausea too.

xyloto · 16/04/2020 11:41

@KSI88 if you’re like me, I just hope I’m not reading too much into it! Haha. Hubby is getting on my nerves also, and he pointed it out last night. He asked to test in his birthday but I said the day before. I’m due around then anyways but I thought if I do it the day before then at least it’s not ruining his birthday or and can still surprise him in the morning if I am Smile

Send you lots of luck and my fingers crossed for you. X

DontStandSoClose · 16/04/2020 11:34

I was into marathon running when I had my first child and was still running well into the first trimester, if you are used to running it won't make a difference to you getting pregnant, if anything being fit helps. The only reason I stopped with the running was the risk of tripping up once I had a noticeable bump, I still exercised though right up until I gave birth.

Olivia2020 · 16/04/2020 11:17

What is everyone's thoughts about exercising in the TWW? I'm so anxious that it will effect implantation but the whole working from home in lockdown has meant running around 3 times a week, around 5 miles each time has been so good for my mental health. I know I could do light exercise inside but it doesn't make me as happy!

There is so much on the internet that says strenuous exercise is really bad for implantation but I run regularly also and miss it 🤷‍♀️

KSI88 · 16/04/2020 10:42

@xyloto Hi! I too am having very similar symptoms to you. Tender breasts, moody and my husband seems to be annoying me all the time. Not his fault, however as he's not working due to the virus everything he's doing is annoying me 😄 I'm either 4/5dpo today and also having some cramping and creamy CM.

That would be lovely if you could surprise your hubby on his birthday🤞🏻

It’s going to sound a bit ridiculous writing it on here when people are just trying to get pregnant but basically summer born boys are at an academic disadvantage. This isn’t me just reading too much mumsnet, my husband is a high school teacher, summer born boys are identified like pupil premium children (children from lower income families) as they tend to fall behind children born earlier in the school year. Girls don’t have the same issues. I have a July born boy (who was an accident when I was breastfeeding the first child!) we had planned another baby but he was a few months earlier than we intended. I actually preferred having a summer baby in terms of going out for walks etc it was lovely, but I do worry he’ll barely be turning 4 and starting school and the potential impact on how well he does in exams when he’s older.

serialplanner · 16/04/2020 09:42

@DontStandSoClose yes timing is always crazy! What are you thoughts on not having a summer baby? How come? I'm just intriguedSmile

DontStandSoClose · 16/04/2020 02:51

I also wasn't going to try this month as I get Christmas Day as the due date!! I said never again to having a Christmas-time baby, my first child was born New Year's Day but I thought I was in labour from Christmas Eve, it was the worst Christmas and new year ever!! All week in slow labour, yet here I am again Grin possibly doing the exact same thing I said I wouldn't!

DontStandSoClose · 16/04/2020 02:30

I think I feel quite conflicted about trying at the moment but we have waited about 12 months already due to career related reasons. I've said I don't want to have a baby over 37, but I also don't want a summer baby. I'm already going to turn 37 before we have it even if I got pregnant now. So our "window" before we throw in the towel is now until August. I was meant to start a new job the end of March which is on hold, which will mean mat pay is messed up now too, but if we wait we probably won't end up having another! It really isn't great starting a job and having to tell them you are already pregnant! So conflicted. This virus has chosen a really inconvenient time to be honest!

Then there's the whole messing up maternity appointments thing, but that's another thread all together...

Hello all

Hubby and I are also TTC #1 and we have been for almost a year, but more so in recent months. I’m currently 4 DPO and are showing signs of moodiness, tender boobs and last night I had the craziest dream. I’m hoping I’m not reading too much into it and pray that we are successful. I’m planning to do a test 26th as it’s hubby’s bday 27th so I’m hoping I can surprise him Smile.

Wishing you all the luck in the world, fellow triers! Bit of an odd time to TTC but like others have said, got to go on as normal and live in the moment. Just hope it all blows over soon.

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 22:58

@heybb Most definitely not but I'll try my best to hold off until then. This wait is awful! I have zero patience and I'm running out of things to do in the house and the garden!

heybb · 15/04/2020 22:50

@KSI88 Is there such thing as tmi on here?? 😂
I’d like to say I’ll wait to see if af arrives but I’m quite impatient so I’m trying to resist till 22nd. Do you think you’ll be able to hold off till 10dpo?

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 22:40

@heybb Hi! I actually wondered if it was TMI posting my comment about sore nipples this morning 😆 When do you plan on testing?

OP posts:
heybb · 15/04/2020 22:30

@KSI88 Hello! Just got to say I proper LOL’d at your sore nips comment from this morning 🤣🤣

heybb · 15/04/2020 22:28

Hi everyone,
Hope you don’t mind a newbie joining in!
I’ve just started the tww and have sneakily been on the chats without posting so thought I’d pop up to say hello 😊
I’m 4dpo (I think) and af is due on 25th.. This is all very new to me and are trying for our first so just waiting to see what happens for a few cycles. All this decoding has certainly been fun 😂
Hoping for lots of bfps for everyone!

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 22:27

6 years on even!

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 22:26

@incywincyspiders Got these on Amazon. I can't wait to use them.

@MissAR Here's hoping I won't need them all. God knows what I'll do if I get my BFP this month! I'll be using one every 5 minutes I think.. 🙈

@Dimosaur Hi and good luck! I got my BFP with DC #1 on my first cycle of TTC. This one is proving to be a little bit harder however we're 6 years 😊🤞🏻

OP posts:
MissAR · 15/04/2020 21:41

@KSI88 😮 wow I always wanted to buy that pack too but then I would take 10 test per day and It's not good for my mental health 😅Hope you won't get the chance to finish them...send us the rest after your BFP 😅🤞🏻

Dimosaur · 15/04/2020 21:33

Hello all!
Also just starting the TWW, first month of trying for number 2, I've an 18 month old!

I got a bfp at 10dpo last time, and we only had unprotected sex twice within the fertile week, so here's hoping for that luck again!

Best of luck ladies, look forward to seeing some bfp over the next few weeks!

incywincyspiders · 15/04/2020 21:17

Where did you get the 50 pack from? I thought I was pushing the boat out with buying 20 😂

Loves2Read · 15/04/2020 19:53

@KSI88 😆 I think 50 is just about enough! I’ll be 15DPO tomorrow and haven’t tested yet.. I only have two tests! I’ve a feeling that it’ll be a BFN but fingers crossed and if not then as my other half says, “we go again!” 😂. This thread is keeping me sane, thanks everyone! 💙

KSI88 · 15/04/2020 19:32

Is 50 enough?? 🙈😁

@KSI88 I changed my mind, I'm going to test on Sunday. I'll be 11dpo at that point. I don't know who I was trying to kid thinking I could hold off until 14dpo Grin
