Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

Congrats @DontStandSoClose is that the first BFP of the thread? First of many I hope! Anyone else due to test soon?

ChattyMum86 · 18/04/2020 09:53

@DontStandSoClose well it is been a BFN this morning but to be honest I am probably testing a bit too early 🤷🏼‍♀️ 🙈 I will try again nearer to the first day of my missed period (if it doesn't come) wishful thinking over here!
I have two wee ones at the moment (ages 4 and 7). I hope you managed to get decaf teabags? 🙏🏼 ☕️ and are feeling ok? Xx

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 07:56

I can't upload any pics (I've been a member for years) no idea why, I did try in that post

DontStandSoClose · 18/04/2020 07:55

Exciting @chattymum86, I use the asda own tests (not the 99p freedom ones they once gave me a false positive when we weren't trying and caused quite a bit of stress, have a look at the reviews so many women with false positives so avoid), the £3.50 for 2 ones have always been accurate though which is what I use.

I've retested this morning and the line looks a little darker (I tested in the middle of the afternoon after holding my wee for 2 hours yesterday), I've never quite been able to believe I'm pregnant until I see it in writing so will get a digital next time we go to the shop, I'll stop testing after that as long as my period stays away!

Was so hard yesterday when it got to 7pm and I wanted a glass a wine (I have a 4 and 2 year old so it's needed!!). I also drink tea like a fish so I'll have to get some decaf teabags, I've always had 1 normal brew in the morning then decaf for my other 50 cups.

ChattyMum86 · 17/04/2020 23:46

Amazing news!! So excited for you ❤️

My delivery from Asda with my HPT will arrive tomorrow between 9 and 10am. Hoping for a similar outcome ❤️ xxx

incywincyspiders · 17/04/2020 20:43

@DontStandSoClose congratulations x

My sore boobs seem to have reverted to normal so maybe I was just imagining things. Even though it's still early, I'm starting to feel like it won't be this month.

KSI88 · 17/04/2020 20:17

@DontStandSoClose Congratulations!!

@dontstandsoclose fingers crossed.
My first pregnancy I felt ill like this from about 7dpo, bfp 10dpo on Frer.
Ds 18 months now!

DontStandSoClose · 17/04/2020 19:41

Some people do say they have symptoms vv early, I wouldn’t have thought it would be possible before hcg is produced which is a day or 2 after a fertilised egg is implanted. If you had it with your first pregnancy though it’s a good sign, fingers crossed!!

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 19:15

I think I'm only about 2 or 3 dpo... But I feel so sick today when I eat . Couldn't finish my dinner!
And Im exhausted.
Feels like my first pregnancy
Surely I can't be having symptoms already?!

DontStandSoClose · 17/04/2020 17:35

I'm not a symptom spotter as you can tell but I did have the worst stabby fanny pain about 3 days ago, to the point it stopped me in my tracks, lasted about 10 min, I dismissed it as nothing when my husband asked. That's the only sign of anything I've had. I felt a bit like my period was coming this afternoon but I had that the other times I was pregnant once I was past the point my period should be. Quite weird it sinking in, a family of 5 with 3 under 5 😆 crazy!!

I hope everyone else on here gets their bfp soon, if you are feeling different things to what is normal for you I'm sure it's a good sign, lack of what I normally feel seems to be a thing for me. My mum is one of them people that knew they were pregnant before taking the test, I'm deffo not!

gingerglitter4ever · 17/04/2020 17:04

Ahhhh congrats @DontStandSoClose that’s fabulous news! I’m currently 14DPO with swollen areola and heavy boobs 🤔 felt some dizziness today too but I don’t want to get my hopes up.. AF due Tuesday

How is everyone getting along?

OhSoCherished · 17/04/2020 16:13

@DontStandSoClose congratulations to you and your family! Such joyous news during this difficult time! Grin

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 16:05

Congratulations @dontstandsoclose! Woohoo!

MissAR · 17/04/2020 16:04

Congratulations @DontStandSoClose 💕🎉 as I said before, sometimes no symptoms is a good sign 😁
@Aluasen yep , there is a line but definitely need to take another one...not sure how accurate is that after timeframe.🤞🏻

8dpo here and no symptoms at all, I don't have the dry mouth anymore and feel good overall but just so impatient😞

DontStandSoClose · 17/04/2020 16:01

Thanks, I'm a bit sad I can't tell my closest friends though, one left her husband for a woman about 2 years ago but still wants children, she tried to get nhs funding but there's nothing physically wrong with her (she never tried to get pregnant with her husband). She needs to find £££ and wait for the clinics to reopen, not to mention the backlog after covid to go. If I tell my friends I think I'll get eye rolls, especially as it's happened right away again. Oh well we've just celebrated with a cup of tea Grin crazy! I'll just have to sit on our secret for a while a guess...

Elenor1010 · 17/04/2020 15:46

congratulations!!!

Elenor1010 · 17/04/2020 15:45

So not trying to symptom watch but I cant help myself!! I'm now 1 week into my 2 week wait.
I always get period pains in my lower back rather than my tummy, would implantation pains be the same?? Ive been getting lower back pains all day and its way to early for my period pains to start, they've been like clockwork since I came off the pill in December. Also crazy tired.

Aluasen · 17/04/2020 15:44

@DontStandSoClose congratulations! A Christmas baby too! 🎉🎉

DontStandSoClose · 17/04/2020 15:40

Well just took a test and it’s positive 🎉, we are really pleased, baby Jesus it is... 25th December due date eek!

OhSoCherished · 17/04/2020 15:35

Hello everyone!

I'm new here so please forgive me for not using the shorthand. My husband and are trying for our first child. I am 4 days post ovulation so still quite early in my two week wait.

I had cramps all of yesterday and nipple pain for the last couple of days but I'm attributing that to my usual ovulation pains that come every month. I'm trying my best not to be obsessive about it but it's so difficult! Hopefully I can hold out until the 29/04, a day after my expected period before I do a pregnancy test.

All the best to all of you!

KSI88 · 17/04/2020 13:30

@Aluasen I definitely think it has colour to it! You should test again tomorrow 🤞🏻

Aluasen · 17/04/2020 13:14

Evap* damn auto correct

Aluasen · 17/04/2020 13:13

@lk123 I thought it was most likely an Evan until I seen it had colour. It's hard to tell in the photo, for some reason MN app seems to drop picture quality for me 😂 it is definitely got colour in real life though

lk123 · 17/04/2020 13:06

Looks positive!!!! But could be evap since so long I’d try again tomorrow :)
