Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

Oh @Nat4392 🙁. I didn't mean for my comment about having a Christmas birthday to sound so heartless, I was trying to look to the positives. I read it back and thought I must sound like an heartless idiot, sorry!

KSI88 · 20/04/2020 10:02

@Nat4392 @serialplanner So sorry that AF has arrived ladies 😢

@DontStandSoClose yes that was my thought! Had a good cry to get it out of my system, now just need to be positive and focus on trying again I suppose!

incywincyspiders · 20/04/2020 09:27

To be honest, I've already talked myself into thinking it's a BFN this month so as I'm expecting it, it's not as disappointing. I don't even know when AF is due as first month off pill 😂 obviously tracked my OV so I know I've ovulated. If I'm going by withdrawal bleed, it's Friday. If I go by 14 days after OV it's Sunday. I think I will test Friday if AF hasn't turned up by then.

DontStandSoClose · 20/04/2020 09:11

So sorry AF has appeared @Nat4392 and @serialplanner, a January birthday will be better than a Christmas Day birthday anyway! Good luck next cycle X

DontStandSoClose · 20/04/2020 09:07

I think waiting for your period is far better, I didn't with my first, although I only tested 2 days before it was due, the line was still fairly faint so I sat holding it up to the light etc and wondering if I was. Second time was a little different as we hadn't been trying, my period didn't show but I was breastfeeding a 9 month old. It was negative 3 days late so I thought great, but 2 weeks late I started to feel off so did it again and the line was there. So this time I decided just wait for my period, when I did test the test line came up within seconds. I prefer being sure rather than thinking I am and I'm not or vice versa. I totally understand why people can't resist though!! If you test before about 10/11 dpo you'll get a negative even if you are pregnant, any earlier the embryo won't have even implanted, then it takes a day or so for hcg to increase and be high enough to be detected.

serialplanner · 20/04/2020 09:05

@incywincyspiders if it helps...it was nicer than getting a BFP. Looked at the calendar straight away and sort of thought onto the next one. Very best of luck x

Nat4392 · 20/04/2020 09:03

That’s me out again this month, AF just showed up. So fed up!!

serialplanner · 20/04/2020 09:01

And with that my own period has started! Darn it!

serialplanner · 20/04/2020 08:48

@incywincyspiders access to free pregnancy tests what a connectionWink

I was just coming on here because I am 11dpo and tempted to test but really trying not to. It's not because I have magical powers but because of what all you ladies have taught me.

Even if we are pregnant, if we test too early then we have to wonder is it positive, is it not, send pictures of lines etc. Unecessary stress.

I don't know if this will work but I have tried to persuade myself that getting AF is less disappointing than a BFN if you test early because your cycle has started and you are on the countdown to trying again. So I'm trying to avoid heartache.

I have one test so I see why it's difficult for you!

We've made it through the hardest part- the weekend. Use work to distract you Grin

I hope something in the post helps you! I'm a newbie so what do I know x

lk123 · 20/04/2020 08:48

I just looked again and I think there is actially the slightest hint of a vvvvvvvv V faint line !!!! My camera won’t even pick it up haha but maybe I won’t hold off on resting after all

lk123 · 20/04/2020 08:42

Bfn again for me this morning:(. Anyone used the zoom baby early detection strips??? Beginning to think I ovulated later than I thought and am maybe 10dpo and not 12dpo! Or hoping so anyway!!! Af due Saturday so might hold off on the testing I just can’t help myself!

Anyone had a bfn at 12dpo but still been pregnant?

incywincyspiders · 20/04/2020 08:35

@OhSoCherished please talk some sense into me. I'm desperate to test today (I'm 8dpo).. I know it will be negative but I can't help myself. What's worse is I'm at work and we sell tests so could easily do it.

OhSoCherished · 20/04/2020 08:30

@incywincyspiders I totally get the temptation to test early, it's been bitting me hard but at 7dpo I know for sure there's just not enough HCG to pick up, even with an early detection test.

I know I won't be able to wait until AF so I'm going to be sensible and test at 10dpo. That's a healthy compromise for me 😅

incywincyspiders · 19/04/2020 22:09

Just looked at reviews for the cheap pregnancy test strips I got and they apparently don't show positives until the first day of your missed period 😂 so I guess I won't be testing until Friday anyway 😂

lk123 · 19/04/2020 19:12

Hello! 11dpo today bfn this morning!! But have some nausea and dizzy spells and boobs are so sore, TMI warning but had like gummy cloudy cm as well! AF not due until Saturday though but got 3 tests left to keep checking every morning hahaha going to drive myself crazy!! Sending baby dust to everyone of you xxxx

OhSoCherished · 19/04/2020 18:22

I'm based in Oxfordshire. It's been really sunny here too (apart from the non-stop rain yesterday) but still a bit of a chill in the air. I'm trying to get as much sun as possible in the conservatory while reading to keep myself well distracted.

DontStandSoClose · 19/04/2020 17:33

I'm also in sunny Manchester too (or a town 30 min away anyway!). I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. My period is staying away (although it'd only be 2 days late today). I've not retested since yesterday, will wait until we next go to the shop and buy a digital then.

I remember another symptom I had the other day before I took the test, a bloody nose when I blew it. I did think to myself "oh that's funny" (when I've been pregnant before I had a bloody nose every single day in the morning).

I keep having the odd little freak out over this being our 3rd, it's always been part of the plan but when my other children wouldn't go to bed last night I thought what are we thinking!!!

Popcat120 · 19/04/2020 15:51

I'm from Bedfordshire.
Probably about an hour from London.
Lapping up the last of the sunshine before I'm back to work next week... Nursing!

Nat4392 · 19/04/2020 15:13

@KSI88 I’m from sunny Manchester (ironically it’s actually sunny at the moment)
Currently 11DPO with AF due on Tuesday. Not hopeful about this month, AF certainly seems on the way as I’ve been a right moody bitch today 😂 how is everyone else?

MissAR · 19/04/2020 14:55

Hi everyone! 10dpo and a bfn for me this morning with a FRER.I know it's still early but after a whole week of being optimistic, now I feel like I m out this month...I don't feel it.
Anyway, will try a more relaxed approach next cycle(if I can).
Hope you all get your BFP!🤞🏻have a great weekend

Hopefulmummie · 19/04/2020 14:21

@KSI88 no have no children so this will be our 1st. I got my coil out in July last year and we tried for a few months but no luck. We relaxed a bit on the trying for a few months but now back trying again and hopeful

KSI88 · 19/04/2020 14:19

Ladies, would be good to know where we are all from? I'm in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and our weather has been surprisingly good these past few weeks! Thank goodness given the current situation with Coronavirus. Spending most of my time in the garden ☀️

@Hopefulmummie Hi! Could be a good sign if you've been emotional and have had some twinges. I was an emotional wreck yesterday as per my post last night 🙈. Fingers crossed for you. Do you have any children just now? How long have you been TTC?
