Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

Hi just wanting to ask what your experience is of getting a faint positive on first response and then a negative on other tests. I have taken two other early tests today with fmu and both blatant negatives. I’m starting to think opening the first response somehow caused the positive to appear and was invalid. I have no preg symptoms at all

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 16:49

After having very slight cramping this morning, I have 0 symptoms all day apart from getting the metallic taste in my mouth every now and then, but not as bad as yesterday.

Maybe AF is going to make an appearance after all 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I swear I drive myself insane with all this symptom spotting - wish I could stop 😫😫😫

Suki2020 · 25/04/2020 15:15

@OhSoCherished congratulations 🎉

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 13:55

@OhSoCherished wow congrats lovely 😊

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 13:30

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic do you think I just missed my positive ovulation test then?

@LJMilkTea I’m not great at them either. Very new to them so not sure. That’s what I’ve taken it as, that I ovulated on that day but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

LJMilkTea · 25/04/2020 13:28

Congratulations @OhSoCherished 🥳

@Nannon145 on the pregnancy tests I took it said 6 days before period it was 75% accurate but it was an early test one.

I’m not great at reading the OPKs but it looks like you did ovulate on 18 no?

GinIsTheOnlyTonic · 25/04/2020 13:21

Congrats @OhSoCherished and @PopCat120! This is a really lucky thread so far!

@Nannon145 it looks it is almost there on CD 19.

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 12:32

@OhSoCherished huge congratulations....!
🎊

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 12:30

Congratulations @OhSoCherished!!!!! Amazing news

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 12:30

What does everyone think to my ovulation tests this month? This is why I’m unsure as to whether I even ovulated!! @LJMilkTea @Popcat120

I've been feeling cramps all morning, right in the middle above my pubic area. I decided to test, behind DH's back and against my better judgement because the sun is out and tbh, if it was going to be AF coming on, I wanted to have a G&T without guilt.

That plan has been thwarted and I'm still in disbelief!

Based on my period tracker, I am 12DPO. Praying AF stays away. I will do another one in the morning just to be sure.

I really hope so. I’m really trying to not get my hopes up though because I didn’t get a positive ovulation test this month so I’m my head I’m not even sure if I ovulated!!! So happy for you though 🥰

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 10:58

@nannon145, sounds positive to me..
I've been having such bad cramps on and off last night and today. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 10:45

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic @LJMilkTea I’m on cycle day 9 or 10 today. I think I might wait until Monday to test. How do you know how sensitive the tests are? I’ve got a couple of cheapies from Home Bargains & one from Sainsbury’s but I don’t know how sensitive they are.

Woke up this morning with this cramping/gassy feeling which feels a lot like AF is on her way 🙁 I really hope she isn’t. She isn’t due until 29th April.

HappyBuyer · 25/04/2020 10:38

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic @OhSoCherished

I'm 35.

Originally started 1.5 ago. For about a year it was just doing the deed and ''letting it happen natural way'' - no apps, no ovulation tests, no calculations (I was sure I will fall pregnant quick Hmm ). About last 6 months I have used ovulation sticks, albeit once a day. I also tried ClearBlue - two/three times a day before ovulation time (calculated by app). Always had empty circle and only once Smiley face.
Before lockdown I have done private blood tests to see if I'm healthy and my hormones are within normal range. The results were very good overall, except for the lack of vitamin D.
However, according to general BMI I'm underweight, but combined with the level of body fat 22%, it seems that I'm just fit (trying to put on some more weight now just in case) The blood pressure and heart rate are excellent. So it seems that I'm healthy.
I will try to track ovulation more vigorously with both ClearBlue and some other brand's sticks (maybe 3-4 times a day) and if this doesn't work, would have to visit my doctor when possible.
I can't wait to do pregnancy test on Monday (7 days after ovulation - according to app).
Thank you for reading this. I apologise for the long post.

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 10:26

Thank you so much @OhSoCherished I should have not tested so early I tell myself I must not each time but i just can’t help myself. I really don’t feel pregnant and that tiny bit of hopes drives me insane as I can’t focus on anything else. Wish I could just forget it until my period is late xx

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 10:25

I meant clear blue early bfn

OhSoCherished · 25/04/2020 10:03

@Jaylou7 I see the faint line! Hoping it intensifies in a few days time.

I'm so sorry about your previous losses. Fingers crossed this is your cycle and it all progresses well for you!

OhSoCherished · 25/04/2020 09:59

@HappyBuyer have you tried doing your LH tests twice a day, e.g, one in the morning and one in the evening? The LH surge can happen in a matter of hours for some women whose LH surge is rapid onset instead of gradual onset. So if this is the case for you, you may be missing it you only test once a day.

https://www.fertilityuk.org/new-page advise that if you are over 35 and have been trying unsuccessfully for 6 months, you should talk to your doctor about it. It would definitely help ease some anxieties to know what's really going on.

All the best! 😊

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 09:20

Thank you @ChattyMum86 I am not convinced about my result. Did a cb early today and a bfp so not sure what’s going on.
Any spotting is annoying and makes us worry doesn’t it when we are ttc bit could be nothing. Fingers crossed for you xx

ChattyMum86 · 25/04/2020 09:03

Congrats @Jaylou7 and @Popcat120 that's great news! Both lines look very positive BFPs 🥰

I've had the strangest couple of days spotting. It isn't like my normal period and is a week earlier than my period would usually come 🤔 however, some of it is bright red which doesn't fit the description of an implantation bleed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe I'm just holding onto a small glimmer of hope x

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 08:50

I would be getting excited by that congrats!!! 😘

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 07:39

Update.... Still pretty faint but a tiny bit darker than yesterday!!

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 07:19

Going to test again in a couple of days. The fact I opened test and only 6 dpo makes me doubt. X

LJMilkTea · 25/04/2020 06:24

@ginistheonlytonic thank you!

@Nannon145 I would say 10 maybe if you can wait or even a bit longer. I know it’s so hard. I did one at around 8 or 9 and it was negative.

@Jaylou7 I think I can see a line! I have everything crossed
