Hi everyone!

Cycle 5 of ttc baby #1.

Currently 11dpo and 3 days away from AF.

So far I have absolutely no symptoms which is not normal for me compared to the last 4 cycles.

However, had a BFN this morning so feeling disheartened.

Anybody testing in the next few days? I'm trying to hold off until 15th April.

Also attached my chart this month if anyone wants to comment?

@MrsCOR I'm sure once it happens we'll have a whole football team in no time. Loads of people have babies every day our time is coming 🏆

MrsCOR · 23/04/2020 18:04

@Positevibes - yep! So frustrating! Why couldn't it happen that quickly for us? Trying to make myself feel better and saw that apparently the average is 6-12 months. You're right - maybe May is OUR month! Been locked inside with DH for ages and still not happened even with all this extra time to BD 🤣

@MrsCOR yeah I know what you mean it is difficult specially when some people only have to think about babies and they get pregnant. I'm just focusing on the fact that it will happen when the time is right that's my OHs mantra at the moment 🤣 he's so calm and positive. To be fair all this extra time together looked indoors who knows maybe May is the month 🤷🏻‍♀️

MrsCOR · 23/04/2020 16:52

@Positevibes - hope your bloods come back clear!

Yes the sunshine is definitely helping. I'm not doing any tracking at all this month and focusing on spending time with DH and DTD every other day. Really trying to stay positive but kind of fed up of this whole ttc stuff. Just don't feel like it will ever happen sometimes and I feel really down about it.

Positevibes · 23/04/2020 16:45

@MrsCOR yeah the same feeling very positive I think the sunshine helps I've been going out for a walk every day taking my mind off things still tracking with my app but just staying calm. I spoke to the Dr which I think helped she sent me for a blood test just in case but haven't had the results yet. 🤞🌈

MrsCOR · 23/04/2020 15:10

@positivevibes - I'm okay thanks! Thinking positive about this cycle! How about you? 🥰💕

@MrsCOR just thought I'd check in and see how you are? 🤞🏼🤞🏼 for May 🌈

MrsCOR · 22/04/2020 14:11

@serialplanner I do hope so! Fingers and toes crossed! 🥰

@MrsCOR aww good luck! Maybe May will be our month!

MrsCOR · 20/04/2020 22:34

@serialplanner - gutted AF came for you in the end! Totally agree, getting AF is far less disappointing than a bfn and I will not be testing until a missed period now. I am due to finish tomorrow so getting excited to start a new cycle! Had a nice relaxing bath with candles & music tonight - I would recommend it whilst af is here!

AF officially came today so hello May it is! I was 11dpo and resisted testing which I will try and keep up as as a habit as AF is less disappointing for me as it kicks off a new month!

MrsCOR · 18/04/2020 12:19

@serialplanner yep definitely very emotional - I think more so than losing your virginity because of the fact that it is ongoing!

I've done so much research behind it because I like to understand everything and not go in blind!

OP posts:
serialplanner · 18/04/2020 10:51

@MrsCOR yes I suppose if I get through the weekend, the week goes quick as still working full days albeit at home.

This definitely the most emotional thing I have been through. Maybe the only thing that compares is when you are young and deciding about your virginity! Unknown and about your body.

This is worse though as it's ongoing. Interesting what you said about implantation. I'm going to look I to the science side. Learning so much more than biology classGrin

MrsCOR · 18/04/2020 09:11

@serialplanner - thank you for your kind words, it really means a lot 🥰

Oooo I would hold off as much as you can. If there's anything I have learnt in the past 5 cycles it's to not test unless you are late. Otherwise you're peeing money down the drain (excuse the pun lol). Also 9dpo is usually when you implant so leave it at least 3/4 days if you can!

I know its difficult because you want to know ASAP but I am now going to start waiting until that missed period.

I had back, hip and leg aches and thought that was a new sign but turns out although it's not a regular thing I can't use new symptoms to identify pregnancy. So hard to not symptom spot though!!! How on earth am I going to get through that tww without thinking "Am I pregnant?"?!?! 😂

I always take a test then take it to DH so he doesn't have to watch me dip sticks into a hot cup of urine (attractive, right?! 😂😂)

@MrsCOR of course you are not letting him down! Don't be silly!

I'm 9dpo today. Tempted to test but I have only one test so trying to be good and wait.

I had crazy back cramps yesterday and I usually only get stomach cramps once AF has started. Who knows if it is all in my head or a bit different.

Bit silly but does such a thing as a pregnancy test ritual exist? I couldn't imagine doing one without DH but I'm in the early days and soppy!

MrsCOR · 17/04/2020 22:56

@serialplanner it's okay I have been feeling better throughout the day and DH has actually been very supportive today. I think it is starting to take its toll on him too. 😔 Feel like I am letting him down every time.

I really believe that too! Almost like fate. And when I do get pregnant I wouldn't be able to imagine having any other baby. It will happen when everything lines up! It just hasn't done that yet and that's okay. Every month is only a 15-20% chance and sometimes you can just be unlucky.

How are you doing anyway?

OP posts:
serialplanner · 17/04/2020 19:52

@MrsCOR I'm so sorry! I know it sucks. At least you have some immediate clarity.

Yes, just have lots of sex during your window and enjoy that bit!

Timing is everything and at the right time you will have the right pregnancy. I really believe that.

MrsCOR · 17/04/2020 18:35

@serialplanner maybe.. AF was due on 15th and she arrived this morning. Gutted 😔

Onto cycle 6 now and stepping away from OPKs and BBT... I know my body is doing what it is supposed to so I need to relax and let it happen. Clearly trying so hard to get pregnant is not working!

OP posts:
serialplanner · 17/04/2020 18:13

Oh no @MrsCOR is today 3 days late? It's so difficult because our cycles could affected by the stress of what is going on!

MrsCOR · 17/04/2020 07:33

BFN again and temp drop. Definitely think I am out now so not even going to bother testing again. Onto the next cycle Sad

OP posts:
serialplanner · 16/04/2020 22:02

@MrsCOR enjoy the positivity and roll with it!

MrsCOR · 16/04/2020 09:45

Had a look at my previous cycles and I have mainly 26/27 day cycles... I have had longer (even 29 days) however the luteal phase has always been exactly 14 days. I know I ovulated 15 days ago, so its unusual for af to be late for me. Clutching at straws but I'll do anything to keep that positive mindset!

OP posts:
serialplanner · 16/04/2020 09:39

@MrsCOR oh I really hope not! Keep us posted x

MrsCOR · 16/04/2020 07:37

To be honest I think it is just another BFN for me. I imagine AF will show her face today.

OP posts:
MrsCOR · 16/04/2020 07:31

@serialplanner good morning! I woke up feeling sick but probably from nerves.

No AF overnight but maybe today. Temperature stayed high again though so not sure.

Just took a test and can see the faintest line... not sure what to think as it is barely visible and I can't get it in a photo.
