TTC after miscarriage - April 2020 part 2

@Mommybear05 I had a 31day cycle (I’m normally 27-29days) after my MC and I had finished bleeding from the MC on March 1st. I had a fibal scan March 12 and told the nurse I felt like my body was ovulating (although couldn’t track using cheapy LH sticks, or my BBT as the hcg levels were still present in my body). She said I wasn’t as my uterus lining was so thin, that it was more like you’d find just as you’d finished your period - and when I did get AF on March 30th - it was super short, only 2 days which is unheard of for me! I reckon I possibly did ovulate (got cramping etc) but I think looking back, my lining would have been too thin for implantation! My current cycle seems to be back on track - so fingers crossed your body has reset and is getting back on track too :) 🤞🏻

@SmileyT - I’m 5dpo - back to work next week albeit on a lot less days, but at least TWW will pass a bit quicker! You BBT still looks good, it takes a couple of cycles to get into the routine, I have only just got minimal variation and have been using it since Sept last year lol!!

@Renna - hopefully the new build goes quickly once lockdown is lifted!! They really rushed the last few bits on ours to get us in and the snag list has been long, and they can’t do much about it yet (luckily I emailed them so have dates just in case anyone says it happened after we moved in!!)

@smileyt sorry for your loss too. Good sign that you've had a positive ovulation test. I've been using the cheap strips my cycles are irregular anyway so if be spending a fortune on the cb ones but they are so much easier to read! Mine show high readings then drop again but haven't had a peak but I guess there's always a possibility I missed it. TTC is such a minefield.
Still hoping one day to be that person that gets pregnant just by looking at their OH

@SmileyT I do like the CB ones more but I go through them like there’s no tomorrow! It’s so weird isn’t it, I agree I don’t know how anyone’s body would know and if you’re having symptoms then surely it’s enough to show up on a test?
I’m just going to wait and see if AF shows her face, I’m thinking more and more that my test yesterday was a random evap xx

@Mommybear05 oh no i dnt have morrisons tests iv got cheapies, cb and frer on the way so between them all ill be testing haha .. who took the morrisons one apart was it you, did u have a false positive? X x

Hi @francis05 hope you had a nice Easter break. I'm no expert at all but I thought that once the time frame for the test was over the results were not valid (there is a lot online about evap lines but not sure if they are anecdotal rather than factual). If I remember rightly you had your MC the week after mine so will be about 3weeks into cycle so I think if you'd caught it may be too early to pick up on HPT so maybe wait until 28days post MC to do another test and see what that says. Sorry that probably isn't helpful at all. Fingers crossed for you xx

@dinosaur17 it's so hard when you start trying because literally every symptom is the same as pms 😩 apparently medically you can't have any symptoms until implantation as your body isn't doing anything different but so many women seem to know straight after conception. I just don't think I know my body well enough to be able to tell. I used the cheap opks and then randomly tried my CB when it arrived and it was a static smiley which seemed to match so will do that next month.

@faithandcake sorry you find yourself here, I had a MMC found at a scan where I should've been 9.5 weeks and had surgery on the 19th March so we're in the same boat. How are you tracking for ovulation? I've been using the cheap opks and CB and they indicated I ovulated on the 6th April but who knows 🤦🏾‍♀️

@Positivetime sorry you are going through this, I guess the only way to know for sure is to take a HPT but totally understand that it's completely nerve wrecking. Did your first AF come exactly 30days after MC? Do you track ovulation? I've decided I'll wait until 1 week late to test as everything I've read has said that 1st 3 cycles can be unusual and don't think I'm mentally prepared to see a BFN ☹️

Hi ladies, hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter! Finally got my Blood results back, they are showing 7mlu so I need to go back today and have more bloods done, hopefully it will be more clear this time as to what’s going on 😩 no symptoms though other than my boobs feeling really full.

I think I’m nervous to test Incase it would be too soon? I keep reading different things about waiting two weeks. I’m also worried that if this is just stress of it all causing a delay then I’ve delayed ovulation. I didn’t realise what a minefield this all was!

@mommybear05 sorry to hear AF arrived today but hopefully it's a good sign your body is regulating itself and getting ready for next month. Yeah I've been using OPKs but haven't had a peak yet. I have pcos and i conceived my daughter with Clomid after a long journey. Last months loss feels extra sucky due to it being natural and a bit of a surprise!

@faithandcake hello and sorry you find yourself here. That sucks you had 7 wk mc on 19th March. I had 9 wk mc on 14th March so similar. Af got me today though. Were you using opks? Sorry for

@positivetime hello. If this is unusual for you and it is past your period due date then maybe you should take a pregnancy test?

Hi all,
Any advice would be really appreciated. So I’m on cycle 2 so didn’t have any real hopes for this time round. But my period is 3 days late and it is never late. My periods always arrive within 30 days exactly.

I haven’t taken a test but I’m getting usual period cramps for the last 10 days which is normal for me before my period. But just never this late for me. Any advice on what this could be or what I should do?

@Hayleylou89 Oh they look really similar don’t they! Mine is usually a bit streaky if that makes sense? Last time I think I only noticed it once or twice. Keeping everything crossed for you.

I have had something similar this morning but put it down to AF turning up at some point today or tomorrow?

@SmileyT Fingers crossed for you for this month!! I started to get some weird symptoms about 3/4dpo and they all tailed off. Had the usual “cold” feeling I get down below Before AF, last night but woke up to nothing? Who knows? Just getting some light spotting at the min, but I think 13dpo might be too late for IB. Which tests did you go for? Did you try the CB? Xx

Hi Ladies, took a break from the thread to try and enjoy the Easter weekend, anyway decided to take a test yesterday evening, no idea why as not sure if I've even ovulated!
Anyway initially no second line but looked again after 15-20 mins and there was a faint pink line. Did another 2 this morning with fmu and the same has happened!! So frustrating.

Does anyone have any experience with evap lines on ic? Trying to attach a pic but not working xx

@Mommybear05 definitely see it as a positive, it will be good to have a more relaxed approach to it as well. You will probably feel a ton better for it. POAS becomes so addictive 😂

So annoying about that Morrisons test. They should just keep it as a little strip and not charge so much when you can get them so much cheaper xx

@Hayleylou89 you should feel excited 😁 I'm excited for you xx it's like an early little positive sign for you xx I've had loadsss of UTIs , and I have never had a pinky stain like that before. I'm okay 😁.. still have some odd crampy pains here and there on left side of back. 3dpo now. I woke up in the middle of the night as I had a really vivid nightmare that my mum died and felt so real when I woke up I was sobbing. Like coildnt stop myself crying. So weird I'm not worried about her in any way or anything but maybe just hearing about all this sad stuff going on at the mo must be in back of my mind ! And once I went back to sleep I also had a vivid dream about my gums coming away in my mouth !! So odd ! Dont think I had any cheese yday 🤣 I'm kinda glad to be back to working now after 4 days off, think I'd struggle In this lockdown with nothing to do xx keep us posted 😘 hope your day goes quick! Stay safe ! Xx

@VP91x @Hayleylou89 @SmileyT thank you. Yes positive all the same as I’ve felt the frustration of 13 months with no periods when wanting to ttc so I really will take a cycle at this point. I felt very upset with a bfn but also no period but clearly
Something is happening in my body. Hurrah! I’m in the game at least :) also that might explain why I was all teary the last couple of days. I always have mood swings before af. Although I would have loved a 2020 December baby it’s not meant. Hubby has been told he’s furloughed until May so we have lots of time to dtd. I will just dtd regularly this month, were usually quite active anyway, and then wait and see. I think if nothing happens and I Continue to get my cycle for a couple of months I could perhaps start tracking.

Hayley regarding pregnancy tests- I wouldn’t recommend Morrison’s own. I broke one apart after your comment about you taking tests apart. It’s just a tiny cheapie strip inside a plastic case. I wondered why the test window was so smal! They are 25 miu and if you go on amazon you can get a whole bag full for £7! X

I found out I was pregnant with my daughter on 27/04/17 so I'm hoping the universe wants to have a lovely coincidence for me this time around too. X

@Renna I know i did say i would be more optimistic if i got this again but then im thinking is it because of the UTI iv had recently, why cant we be positive about ourselves...if one of u were saying this id be so excited for you. Ill do a cheapy in a few days, im in work today on campus helping out so today should go quick atleast :) how r u feeling today xx

i think they are the 10miu ones but if not i do have 4 frer on order from amazon (they were only £13 for 4 ....so can use one of them if i feel like x x

@Mommybear05 I read that it wasn't uncommon to not ovulate first month after MC, but if you don't ovulate you won't have a period as progesterone isn't released but you can have breakthrough bleeding which will be a lighter version of a period (according to google). As you went so long without AF I'd say it's a good sign that you have your cycle back and you can use that as a starting point if you do decide to actively TTC again, but maybe you have the right idea with taking some pressure off without tracking or anything xx

@SmileyT yeah thats it u only see it once when wiping and then when u wipe again it's disappeared its strange isnt it, but only time will tell 🙏 xx it could be anything as iv just got over a uti, but i never really get that with a UTI will just have to wait it out 🙏 im cd 29 of a usual 35-38 day cycle (this month natural cycles is predicting a 37 day cycle) so 8 days to go until AF is due x

@Mommybear05 I'm glad that you have AF even though it would have been much better to get a BFP but this gives you a reset and starting point which is also positive!

@Hayleylou89 this is definitely a good sign! Have everything crossed for you. How sensitive are the cheapies? Xx
