I've created us all another thread as we filled the last one!

@mommybear05 I had no idea how long I'd feed for. I never thought I'm definitely going to bf, once he was born though, all I wanted was to get bf right. Every time he woke in the hospital i buzzed for the midwives to check we had got the latch right.

He's already asked more today than he did yesterday and has been difficult to distract!

@rainbowhope11 I get that type of cm too I just assumed it's normal. How many dpo are you? X

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 16:10

@Renna I'm sorry that you didn't have any follow up checkups, it seems a lot of ladies on here were not offered that! Hope you are feeling okay now though😊 aah, glad to know that the discharge is probably normal! Phew! When I saw it yesterday I was like, oh my gosh, can I just get a break already?! As for the Cm, I've noticed that I've definitely dried up quite a bit since Sunday, but have no idea if I even ovulated. I'm obsessed with checking cm so I notice any small changes. I probably shouldn't be checking that much but I can't help it haha 😂

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 15:56

@Mommybear05 oh how exciting! What kind of style are you doing the new kitchen? I love kitchens haha So Dh and I are in the process of opening up a few pet related businesses, working from home at the moment so it's keeping me busy. I'm trying to track using BBt (not working out too great for me right now), I tried using OPKs but I still have a bit of hcg left in my system so opks are unreliable right now unfortunately. I did track my cm, did see lots of fertile cm las week so dh and I made sure to dtd, but I don't know even know if I actually ovulated so I'm not too convinced that I'll get a bfp this month. I'm not too stressed to dtd, especially since I saw the weird cm yesterday. It was thick stringy cm with white bits in it 😳 looked like little bits of wet toilet paper (tmi sorry!)

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 15:03

@SmileyT Of course! Spend enough time staring at them! I’ve got some cheapies coming on Friday. Have had cramp and backache all day today so sure AF is going to show her face! X

VP91x · 15/04/2020 14:41

@Mommybear05 it is so interesting isn't it? You just don't know. When we conceived my daughter we weren't actively trying and we had only had sex that month just after my period a couple of times because it was a busy month and got pregnant. Then with the MC we only had sex once that month a couple of days after my period and that was it found out I was pregnant. Now I'm here googling everything I feel. Definitely need to stop that.

@SmileyT haha sticky bean, such a funny phrase. I hope so too. Wish I had access to blood tests on tap so we could get quick answers!!

SmileyT · 15/04/2020 14:37

Thanks 🙏 @Mommybear05

@dinosaur17 I'm going to have to get you to look at my tests if I do any early, I can never see the lines. But it's a good sign there is one right? As I've read it's very rare to have false positives. Have you ordered more to test in a few days? xx

@Sallyjo27 definitely not your fault, my Dr told me there was absolutely no reason to wait to ttc again (apart from dating) as all the medical evidence says that your body is actually more prepared for a pregnancy after a MC, historically they used to tell women to wait 6 months but most don't anymore. I've never been told I've had a CP but everything I've read has said that most women wouldn't know unless they are TTC and test early and would just think their AF was a bit late. Please don't blame yourself, I really hope you can take some time to yourself and process what has happened then just start trying when you are ready again. Sending you lots of love and virtual hugs xx

Dipsy77 · 15/04/2020 14:19

Does anyone used the fermometer premium app?, I've just started using the basic free one just trying to work out if it's worth paying to upgrade for a few months ?xx

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 13:33

@Sallyjo27 So sorry you’ve found yourself here. Fingers crossed for you that your cycle returns to normal quickly x

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 13:31

@Mommybear05 Absolutely! Google is not my friend! Think I’m my own worst enemy!

Got my (deconstructed!) frer our when I was emptying the bins. Now there’s def a line but I don’t think any colour and I know FRERs can be awful for indents. Thankfully I’ve used up all my tests haha! X

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 13:31

@SmileyT yes exactly you managed to do it before and you will again. I also like to type all my feelings out. Getting it out there helps xx

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 13:29

@Sallyjo27 sorry to hear about the cp😔 I’ve never had one but I am sure they only tell you to wait one cycle for dating purposes. It’s not your fault! Here’s to the 2021 club x

peperethecat · 15/04/2020 13:16

@Sallyjo27 Sorry to hear about your chemical. I think your cycle should be back to normal straight away.

Sallyjo27 · 15/04/2020 13:06

Hi everyone, hope you are all okay, had my blood results back today and they are less than 1 so the GP thinks it was a chemical pregnancy. Just got to wait for AF now and for my cycle to settle, has anyone had a chemical before? How long did it take your cycle to get back to normal?I feel like it’s my own fault as we didn’t wait a month after the MMC. What a shit year it’s been so far 😩 (sorry to bring the mood down). Anyway I’m determined for a 2021 baby! (As I’m defo out this month)

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 12:44

Best of luck to all our 2WWs! Keeping my fingers crossed for a nice surprise over the weekend! X

SmileyT · 15/04/2020 12:23

@VP91x I'm really rooting for a sticky bean for you (I'd never said this before coming on MN and every time I write it, it makes me laugh 😂).

@Mommybear05 ahh I honestly find your words so soothing. OH keeps saying the same thing about fertility and I keep trying to stay positive but it's blooming hard (I read a lot about the TWW but never really got it until I was in it). I've mentally told myself I'd love a March baby so I'm not too disappointed, but like you I'd love any baby that is mine and healthy whenever they decide to come. I also keep trying to remind myself that I was getting up at 5.30am to go to the gym before work everyday, working 10hr days and going out for dinner with friends when I would've been at the same stage in the last pregnancy so it wouldn't be crazy if I didn't have any noticeable symptoms. I think giving up hope during the TWW is probably the worst thing to do mentally, I'm going to put my big girl pants on, take my vitamins and actually get on with some work to distract me. Sorry for the massive rant but actually feels better to write it all down xx

Hayleylou89 · 15/04/2020 12:23

@HE88

Yeah in hoping it is ib as it did seem more like pinky CM then bloody urine... but its a still a doubt in my head that it could be that, just being realistic with myself and not getting my hopes too high as i literally dont feel much else atall tbh especially today at 5dpo i feel completely nothing pregnancy related just wait to see if anything changes over the next few days and test with cheapies over the weekend before using any frer x

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 12:21

@vp91x for sure. I came off the pill for years to ttc my son. One period and then one try and I was pregnant. I know we were very lucky. But after googling I now read it can take several cycles for period to settle and to ovulate after being on the pill. How would I have felt at the time if I had read that? Would it have made any difference knowing this to the outcome? I’ve always said knowledge is power. But sometimes we torture ourselves with it xx

Hayleylou89 · 15/04/2020 12:17

@SmileyT you know i think alot of us really arnt feeling positive about it this month but none of us are out until AF arrives 🙏 xx

VP91x · 15/04/2020 12:11

@Mommybear05 I am also trying to get away from Google you end up down such a rabbit hole don't you!?!

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 12:05

@dinosaur17 that sure passes the time away! I advise you to try not to google I think that’s what got my spirits down in the 2ww last time! X

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 12:03

@peperethecat ha that sounds like something I would do 🙈

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 12:02

@SmileyT it’s not over for you yet though cramping could also be an early pregnancy sign. If af does get you then yes it’s sucky but after a week or so you will be getting the excitement And hope going again. While you are having periods and ovulating there’s always hope. That’s why this thread helps because while I’m waiting to ovulate I Will be keeping up with you girls who are in the 2ww @Hayleylou89 @VP91x @dinosaur17 @francis05 and the time will soon be here again. I think the 2ww is when personally I felt at the lowest because at this stage it is so beyond control. You conceived without trying last time I’m sure u are pretty fertile Grin Xx

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 11:52

@Hayleylou89 Yes here’s to new year baby. And if not here to valentines baby or any time baby haha. I know I said I was going to get cb digital Opk this time but now I don’t know. I found opk disheartening last month but maybe that’s Just because I’ve been showing negative every time. My hubby just found out that he is not back at work til 11th May. And I will very likely still be working from home at that point too. So we have no restrictions with our time and we have quite an active sex life anyway (sorry tmi!) so he wants us to just have fun and see what happens. He hated me opk last month and said it made him feel pressured but maybe that was just because I was upset with the negatives. I was using Ovia app.
So now I’m not sure whether to opk. I’ve no pregnancy tests in the house now so I def want to invest in a nice little pink first response one this time and maybe wait a bit longer to test (she says now you watch me when the time comes haha) Xx

HE88 · 15/04/2020 11:07

Morning everyone

@Renna feeling a bit better today thanks, going to put my positive pants on and get one with the day. X

@francis05 symptoms sound promising fingers crossed for you. X

@Hayleylou89 when I used to suffer from uti's I would sometimes have blood in my urine, I'm keeping my fingers crossed you get your bfp. X

peperethecat · 15/04/2020 10:59

@SmileyT and @Mommybear05 Thanks for your replies. I realised after I posted that I had posted on the wrong TTC after miscarriage thread and hadn't even introduced myself on this one so it was a bit of a strange thing to jump in with! Sorry you find yourselves here. Flowers
