I've created us all another thread as we filled the last one!

@mommybear05 I had no idea how long I'd feed for. I never thought I'm definitely going to bf, once he was born though, all I wanted was to get bf right. Every time he woke in the hospital i buzzed for the midwives to check we had got the latch right.

He's already asked more today than he did yesterday and has been difficult to distract!

@Renna

How r u feeling symptoms wise x x

Renna · 19/04/2020 14:30

@Donnat89 oh wow shes beautiful!! We love huskys too but I've never had a dog before and OH had a couple when he was a child in family home so thought wed go for a smaller dog. Alaskan klee kais are beautiful too and nearly an option for us , they look like smaller huskys too. Xx

@Ejb86 sorry to hear its frustrating hun xx sorry remind me is this your first cycle since MC ? Maybe things still leveling out ? Did you use opks before MC successfully? Maybe your levels are quite low not picked up in tests. But getting the EWCM sounds like a good sign ? Its frustrating when you just feel like you dont know what your body is doing I felt like that last month xxx

TerribleImagination · 19/04/2020 14:22

@Ejb86 Which OPK’s do you use? I just got my peak today after 6 days of flashing smilies! Had the same with EWCM too, only a tiny tiny bit until yesterday and today, but even then it’s less than usual. Only caught the peak today from holding a wee for 4 hours and testing at 2pm too.

Also I’m sure I saw someone on here or another thread, who got their peak on CD20 and got pregnant that cycle, so it obviously can happen! Don’t lose hope lovey ❤️

Donnat89 · 19/04/2020 14:21

@Renna I have a husky they are great I so want a Pomsky too need to talk OH into getting me one though

Our fur baby Luna ! X

CD18 today and still no ovulation. Had a bit of EWCM yesterday and today, but no positive OPKs. Getting fed up of my rubbish cycles. How can I possibly get pregnant when I'm ovulating so late in my cycle? Sad

@mommybear05 yeahh so excited . Think she will deffo help us through these tough times.adding to our family . Shes a pomsky (pomeranian/ husky cross breed ) I'll attach a pic :) I work from home 3 days a week even without lockdown , obvs full time at the mo. So I'll be home with her a lot.
Sounds like a good distraction. Just wish I had the puppy and the house to distract me right now rather than having to wait much longer 🙄🤣 xx

@renna Aw you’re getting a puppy how lovely. What breed? Mom just had a poodle puppy before the lockdown but now I don’t get to see him 😔 you got any names? I find looking at paint ideas on Pinterest helps too. We’re repainting all of downstairs and picking a colour scheme has been driving me mad but also keeping me distracted :)

@Hayleylou89 how are you today? Not over til you actually get your af! Xx

Renna · 19/04/2020 12:20

@Hayleylou89 sorry you think AF is coming :( I still hope she stays away for you xx I'm fine nothing to report today really .
Still a long wait until this time next week when AF is due xx .. a long week to keep occupied xx

Hayleylou89 · 19/04/2020 11:54

@Renna

Hey im ok thanks bit crampy and bloated so think AF is approaching and if it a 35 day cycle itll be due tomorrow - if its 38day then weds ... its normally one or other x x 👎 how r u today x

Renna · 19/04/2020 11:41

@Dipsy77 sorry no not used it but I have looked into it before but yeah very expensive! Looks like it has some good reviews though . Let us know if you go for it! X

I've always said I'd never get a dog haha .. then after every thing that happened I think something in me changed... got that motherly instinct I guess .. now I can't wait and I guess we really wanted to add to our family 🌈💞 ah okay that's bit more promising:) I'm like you TBf my hormones never really been a problem my first AF came 28 days after surgery and that was my cycle length before MC so I'm.hoping I've leveled out and gone back to normal on that front .just hope my lining has thickened up after my first AF though:) 🤞 xxx

Bellabubble · 19/04/2020 11:30

@Renna ooo a puppy!! That will be great distraction wise - my girl is 5 now, I love having a dog!! Once the roof is on the rest of the house comes a long super quick (I was surprised lol!) I think the next longest thing was waiting for the plaster board to dry, and that took a bit longer as it was over winter so damp air! Garden will be my next challenge - we didn’t get ours turfed as they wanted to charge loads and apparently the turf isn’t good quality from our new build company - so we have a mud patch at the moment 😂

The nurse said that your first AF after a mc is the reset, but she did say depending on how your hormones are, your cycles could still vary and not settle as quickly, but lining etc goes back to growing how it would be normally for you. I have been always been so lucky with my hormones though as they have always been pretty level, from taking the pill, to pms, coming off the pill etc, my body seems to never have been to up and down or hormonal. I’m very grateful for that as I have 2 close friends whose hormones only need the slightest excuse (their words not mine bless them!) and then they are all over the place emotionally, cycle wise, skin wise etc.

Dipsy77 · 19/04/2020 11:14

Has anyone used the Ava bracelet ?, I'm thinking about getting one but they are expensive so just wondered if anyone has any experience ? X

Renna · 19/04/2020 11:13

@bellabubble I think what happened to you is exactly the same for me with your lining . My period was only 2 days and very light . I often have quite a shortish AF any way like 4 days but normally one of those days is a bit heavier . And I dont think I ovulated straight after MC tbh... so I'm in same position as you right now in my first proper cycle since ... did the nurse say after your first AF that the whole lining thing should go back to normal or can this take a few months? As that's what's on my mind now... but I am pretty certain I ovulated this month as got peak and a dip in BBT .. ?
I think the brickwork of the walls were like almost done before lock down dont even think roof was on it . But I'm hoping once they can start working on it again itll be pretty quick ... that is a good idea actually ... I should be researching house stuff ... although dont think we will be doing much decorating.. maybe lots of garden stuff though:)) I have been doing lots of research for the arrival of our new puppy in like 4 weeks.. so that has helped :) but I'm impatient now just want her here ! :) xx

Bellabubble · 19/04/2020 10:55

@SmileyT - sorry to see AF got you - I had a 31day cycle after mine and I am normally a 28day cycle too! I know it sucks - but it was a lot easier to track ovulation this month having had the cycle - so fingers crossed for next month!! I believe that whilst I ovulated after my MC, my uterus lining was so thin nothing could have implanted! I had my MC end of feb, I had been booked in for a scan to check growth on March 12th (which I kept even though I knew I had MC). I mentioned that my body was doing it’s normal ovulation thing (Couldn’t use opks or bbt as my body was still registering as pregnant), and the nurse said I was not ovulating due to my lining being thin like it is just after a period - and this was 2 weeks post mc bleed. I then got my period at the end of March, and it was only about 2 days which is unheard of for me - but it makes sense as my lining wasn’t very thick so there was less to come out (sorry tmi lol!) but I definitely feel like it reset my body and this month has been a lot easier to track etc - so I am really positive that it will be the same for you 🤞🏻 :)

@renna do you know how far they are in the build process? Once the walls/roof is on and they are ready to plaster it all happens pretty quick!! I have spent a lot of time googling house things - which has probably saved me a lot - as I know I get ahead of myself and I’d be googling strollers etc before the end of the TWW even! If you want to paint it when you move in, I found googling paint colours and trying to find them in real house type images very time consuming!!

Donnat89 · 19/04/2020 08:47

As expected BFN this morning at 12DPO so I shall take my seat on the TTC May bus !

Just wait for AF to arrive now !

Xxx

Renna · 19/04/2020 08:23

@Bellabubble jealous of your distractions during TWW! during lock down too. I'm the opposite and have ended up doing the googling etc 🙄 were buying a new buil meant to be ready June but see that being delayed now. I ovulated day after you according to my app. Will you test or just wait and see if AF shows? Xx

@SmileyT sorry AF showed but it's good you're not far off your normal cycle xx and the fertile week is deffo exciting , TWW is torture 🙄 xx I'd deffo say conceive plus lubricant helped me conceive before MMC. x x
I'm feeling fine today. I thought my cystitis symptoms had gone yday but they're back today 🙄😓 xx
@Hayleylou89 how are you today x

SmileyT · 19/04/2020 07:55

Thanks @VP91 @Quail15 @Rainbowhope11

Sorry that AF seems to be catching up to a few of us although you're not out until it's in full flow!! At least we are having cycles so we have to be grateful for that 🙏

I've started a new thread for anybody that is now out for April and will be testing in May - TTC after miscarriage - May 2020 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3884834-ttc-after-miscarriage-may-2020 but I'll obviously still be keeping up in here hoping we get some BFPs before the end of April to give me some hope, somebody has to have a Christmas baby xx

Rainbowhope11 · 19/04/2020 06:58

@SmileyT sorry about AF! But at least things are getting back to normal again 😊 I'm on day 28 now and no sign of AF yet, I'm thinking I'm also going to be a couple days late. Hope you're doing okay!

Quail15 · 19/04/2020 06:43

@SmileyT I hope you are ok, sorry AF has arrived.

I haven't been on this thread much in the last week as I've been trying to ignore the tww. I was hoping that if I did get my bfp that I wouldn't know about it for a few days as I really struggle with anxiety during the first few weeks of pregnancy. But it wasn't to be, I'm only day 26 and I have started spotting with mild cramps this morning. I really wasn't expecting my first AF after MC to be early. I suppose it's better that being a week late 🤷.

VP91x · 19/04/2020 06:42

Morning All 😊

Spotting bright red this morning when checking CP so AF is definitely on it's way now. @SmileyT it is positive that you have had a cycle relatively close to your normal. We can start TTC again next week which feels far more exciting than the TWW. Xx

SmileyT · 19/04/2020 06:05

Morning Ladies... First AF post MC has arrived after spotting yesterday. This cycle was 31 days (pre-MC was 28) but hopefully ill fall back into every fourth sunday AFs like they were before. I've not had any AF type cramps so I'm curious what this is going to look like. Time to dust myself off and start working on my Valentine's Day baby ❤️ This month I'm going to stick with my vitamins also get the OH some vitamins and try the pre-seed if anyone has any other hints and tips feel free to send them my way.

@Donnat89 hope you had a nice and relaxing evening and that the PMS symptoms stayed away 💕

@Renna could definitely be a symptom if you're feeling weepy 🤞how are you feeling this morning?

@Bellabubble sounds like a good idea to stay distracted and just stay positive that's all you can do really. That's good you can see the temp rise straight after ovulation on your charts, next month I'm going to try and be much stricter with wake up times and how I take it to see a more accurate trend x

@VP91x he did pull a face when I asked him but bless him he'll do a lot of things for a quiet life 😂

VP91x · 18/04/2020 22:20

@Renna yeah will hold out for a few more days and see what happens!

@SmileyT your partner is so unphased! If I asked my OH to do that he would literally ignore me haha. Xx

Bellabubble · 18/04/2020 21:53

@SmileyT - my app said I ovulated on 10th :) My temp rose literally the next day! I have my fingers crossed for you!! I’m just keeping busy in the TWW (having a house to paint is quite handy!!) been feeling a bit niggly - not quite cramps - but the occasional more intense type of a cramp then just back to niggly-ness, so who knows what that means! I know my body likes to do everything in it’s own little way though, so I don’t think I am noticing any signs/symptoms - but I don’t know if you do/don’t at 8DPO - and I’m trying not to google too much as I think it will make the TWW seem longer 😕

Renna · 18/04/2020 21:25

@SmileyT yeah DTD close to AF would normally bring it on for me too ... seeee.. another good sign ! 😁🤞🌈 be close to my AF /Testing time too 😁👌 glad you're the same with CP haha . I think I'm just giving up with CP tbh xx

So I've been sobbing all the way through Britains Got Talent 🙄😓 feeling weirdly emosh today ! Xx

Donnat89 · 18/04/2020 21:00

@SmileyT thanks smiley , I'm now not sure I will test backache is bad and having AF like
Cramps so I just know what it will be and not sure I want to see it , like You guys would rather AF just showed !

We will see how I feel in the morning ! X
