I've created us all another thread as we filled the last one!

@mommybear05 I had no idea how long I'd feed for. I never thought I'm definitely going to bf, once he was born though, all I wanted was to get bf right. Every time he woke in the hospital i buzzed for the midwives to check we had got the latch right.

He's already asked more today than he did yesterday and has been difficult to distract!

@SmileyT I know I know still that teeny bit of hope!

@francis05 Mine little pains were almost like a stitch in my left side but its stopped now, normally AF is sort of dull ache but right across my lower tummy & not one sided ..we will see I just hope if i having caught this month that my cycles arnt getting longer ...they already seem so long being 38 days.

@renna ur so patient id 💯 be testing by now with cheapies but i dont see it like if i get a bfn ill be gutted i think it could just be too early but if i got a bfp its one less day wondering xxx

Donnat89 · 21/04/2020 08:57

@Hayleylou89 @francis05 sorry about your bfns girls. I’m thinking of you. And whatever happens we got this! Xx

Mommybear05 · 21/04/2020 08:43

@Beehixs hello and welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss. I mc the middle of March at nine weeks. It’s horrible. Good that your hcg has dropped now and you won’t need any further treatment. Regarding your opk I believe you will need the test line to be bolder than the control line for it to be positive. Just because there are two lines doesn’t mean it’s positive as they’re the rules on a pregnancy test of you know what I mean. I also had unprotected sex as soon as the bleeding stopped and feel desperate to try again! Some people wait but ultimately it’s up to you. You could ovulate and get pregnant before your period so if that’s what you want to try then go for it! I had my af 31 days post mc and am now waiting for my fertile window again. I didn’t have any luck with the opks as they never showed positive the month after mc for me. Because my hubby is home til the middle of May I’m not going to bother with the opks this month as we have a very active sex life anyway. We will see! I hope you see your bfp soon! X

francis05 · 21/04/2020 08:43

@Hayleylou89 sorry to hear that... Another BFN for me too, no sign of af apart from crampy last night, day 29 today.

SmileyT · 21/04/2020 08:42

@Mommybear05 yes if I'm lucky enough to get pg I'll just have to play it by ear, I didn't have any real symptoms apart from being tired this time but next time may be completely different. Also if gyms are all closed it will just be long walks and pregnancy yoga at home anyway I should think xx

SmileyT · 21/04/2020 08:39

@Ejb86 I know it's frustrating but like you said it only takes one swimmer to get there, you know that you're not out yet and feel the TWW is actually much more enjoyable with a bit of hope and symptom spotting to keep you company x

@Niisa good luck with testing at the weekend, I had an SMM on the way 19th March and think I ovulated late like 2 weeks after bleeding stopped (I'm normally a 28day girl) so you are definitely in with a shot as you were having regular sex 🤞

@Hayleylou89 I'm sorry you got a BFN today but as you know you are definitely not out until AF arrives, I have everything crossed for you xx

@Beehixs sorry you find yourself here, most of the ladies in here started trying straight after MC bleeding stopped and I've read on many forums that it can happen in that first month. I'm currently experiencing my first AF post MC but i had signs of ovulation, positive opk (1 week later than my normal cycle) when did you get your peak opk? I wasn't lucky in my first month but that doesn't mean you won't be. My first cycle was 3 days longer than normal but AF is very similar to pre-MC AF so I think I did ovulate. Xx

Mommybear05 · 21/04/2020 08:37

@Renna yes I know what you mean it’s so disheartening looking at a bfn and also expensive. So what are you doing to pass the time this week? X

Mommybear05 · 21/04/2020 08:35

@SmileyT yes there’s so much conflicting advice it’s hard to know what to do. But I think most mc are to do with the genetics rather than any exercise you do or don’t do. By the time I was around 16 weeks with my son I started to feel better but I didn’t fancy working out so I didn’t. Just do what feels right for you x

Mommybear05 · 21/04/2020 08:33

@HE88 hey yes I also had spotting before my af and also some cramps which were at times quite painful. I think it’s nothing to worry about! But not nice as can be horrible! How are you today? Xx

Hayleylou89 · 21/04/2020 07:46

@Ejb86 I know i felt the exact same as u during my fertile window.. but id put tones of pressure on him thinking i was ovulating earlier then i was and we dtd loads then when i peaks he was done in 🙈😂 so it was my fault tbf xxx

Good morning everyone xx

BFN on cheapy again today ... NO AF yet, app predicts tomorrow...getting lots of left side cramps not too bothersome but just there, could be AF on route who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️ xxx hope someone gets a bfp this week !! Xx

Beehixs · 21/04/2020 07:08

Hi everyone, I’m new to this forum let alone any forum. I definitely found some comfort reading everyone’s experiences dating all the way back from 2007(started off on the old forum). Anywho, I had my first miscarriage the day before easter, I was 1 day shy of 6 weeks. I went to urgent care as soon as I started bleeding my levels were at 14. Which indicated I indeed was having a mc. I received a call that following Monday to do blood work the next day. I did and had a follow up by phone that Wednesday. I was told my hcg level was now at a 4. Following this mc I’ve had a sense of urgency to get pregnant right away(as most do). My husband and I decided we would try right away. We DTD on sat(1 week after mc, I was no longer bleeding) sun and today. Not really thinking I could pregnant right away but something was telling me to take an ovulation test just Incase. So I did and it had a faint positive line. At that point this is where I stumbled upon the older forum and read that is was possible to be ovulating right after a miscarriage. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. So no pregnancy hormone detected. Has anyone conceived this soon after? Should I have waited a little bit longer to try again? Is it possible or more likely a false positive surge due to recent pregnancy with a negative pregnancy test?

Niisa · 20/04/2020 23:04

@Ejb86 you’ll get there soon hun, praying for you xxxx

Niisa · 20/04/2020 23:04

@HE88 yeah hun... found out at my 12 week scan (19th March) that I’d had a MMC and fetus didn’t progress after 7 weeks. Miscarriage started 27th. 10 days later OPKs were showing I was ovulation. Got a smiley face on CD10, CD11 and CD13. Got a negative on CD12 but not sure if they were real as I hadn’t taken a pg test so they could have been measuring hcg that could have still been in me. According to my app, CD12 was the day I ovulated but I’ve never really tracked CM so don’t even remember if it was egg white Confused We DTD CD11, CD13 and CD14 so we’ll see soon enough if I was truly ovulating lol

Last week I had some symptoms that I THINK I had back in Jan/Feb when I was first pregnant - 2 days of sore boobs, constant headaches, thirst & peeing. I’m also very exhausted like allllll the damn time and I get cramps every now and then. The one symptom I’ve never had which is new is the brown (sometimes with a hint of red) discharge/blood so really don’t know what’s going on inside me!

According to my app AF is due tomorrow which is CD26 which has never happened, she always comes either CD28 or CD29 so will take a test this weekend if I’ve not seen her by then.

How are you? XX

Ejb86 · 20/04/2020 22:59

Another bloody ftf (failure to finish) Hmm ah well. We all know it only takes one time. Wish I felt as confident as that sounds.

Renna · 20/04/2020 22:49

@Hayleylou89 I've found I'm eating more too being bored at home more 🙄 which doesnt help ! X
Been obsessing about symptom spotting too much today think it was getting to me so I thought screw I'll do a test tomo but changed my mind already 🤣 I really dont think I can face looking a BFNs .. still feels too early any way. So see how I get on nearer the weekend and how I feel. Need to try switch off from it a bit and let the time pass to see if AF shows xx

I worked out a lot before getting pg so carried on when I found out as I read (and asked the nurse) who said fine to carry on as you were before just take it easy but same as @Mommybear05 my symptoms kicked in few weeks after BFP. I was never physically sick but constantly nauseous all day for weeks and very fatigued , I'd get in from work and be in bed and couldnt stomach much so wasnt eating a lot or could only manage bland simple things . I lived off super noodles soup and cheese sandwiches couldnt stomach meat. Then had MMC then lock down so my fitness and figure gone out the window this year!
We have some free weights and resistance bands we work out at home at the mo but I think when I hopefully eventually get a BFP one day I will exercise but take it easy like I did last time, I never did anything strenuous . I think it's still good to do something if possible for all round health . When we first got BFP we started going for long evening walks so I got some fitness in xx

SmileyT · 20/04/2020 22:27

@francis05 @Hayleylou89 @Renna @Mommybear05 I'm really interested by the whole working out when pg thing, I read everywhere that you could keep the same level of workouts you did pre-pg, but when I had some spotting around 8 weeks the nurse only checked cervix and said it was best to avoid the exercise which made me wonder why they would say that if there was no risk. DP hated me getting up at 5.30am to go to the gym before work when pg so I probably wouldn't continue next time just in case.

HE88 · 20/04/2020 21:49

@Niisa I always get the tinged cm and spotting before af so that's always a good sign for me that af is on her way 🙄. The cramping was something else though!
Is this your 1st cycle after MC? Xx

Niisa · 20/04/2020 21:33

*tinge

Niisa · 20/04/2020 21:33

@HE88 I’ve been having the brown discharge which sometime becomes the CM with the twinge of blood for the last week! Yesterday I had fresh blood red and thought AF came but haven’t had anything else since that trip to the toilet. It’s so annoying not knowing what the hell is going on with my body when usually it’s like clockwork Sad

HE88 · 20/04/2020 21:18

Hi all not posted in a few days hope everyone is OK.
Sorry to all those that are getting bfns and those finding themselves on this thread.
Cycle day 28 here, had pink tinged cm on cycle days 25 and 26, then brown spotting cycle days 27 and 28 (today) hoping af makes an appearance tomorrow now so I can start a new cycle. When I came out of the shower earlier I had horrendous cramp which came out of nowhere and it made me sick the last time I had anything like this was when I had my MC. Has anyone else had anything like this? Xx

Mommybear05 · 20/04/2020 21:02

@francis05 @Hayleylou89 @SmileyT I was working out so hard when I fell pg with my son and I wanted to continue but the pregnancy really knocked me off my feet and I felt so sick and weak for so long there was no way I could carry on. Now I enjoy my running but I don’t really have time for the boot camps and all that. I think I won’t be running when pg again if it’s anything like my son! No energy for that!

@francis05 sorry to hear of your cramps. Do U think it could be af or something else? I hope it’s not af for you! Xx
@Hayleylou89 so hoping it’s something exciting! I really deserve it xx

Hayleylou89 · 20/04/2020 20:29

@SmileyT we all love our exercise then!

@francis05 Im having stabby left side pain not sure if its AF approaching or somethin more exciting happening 🙏🙏 really hope its somethin exciting xx

I was still going gym when i was pregnant and just doing light bits it kept me in a good routine, they say if u have always exercised u shouldnt stop all of a sudden so i never but i think ill relax in that sense next time just incase it did contribute to my loss too x ill find out more about what happened on weds as we should get the post mortem results then aswell i hope x

francis05 · 20/04/2020 20:23

@Hayleylou89 @Renna @SmileyT I'm with you on this too, feeling very fluffy at the moment, normally do alot of running but not enjoying it at the moment, also said if I am pregnant I will stop running altogether. I know it probably wasn't but can't help thinking it contributed to the mc.

Having quite a few cramps this eve 😔

SmileyT · 20/04/2020 19:44

@Hayleylou89 @Renna just popping in to say I'm glad it's not just me that is struggling with lockdown weight. I'm so used to going to the gym 6 times a week and I haven't been for nearly 6 weeks (my surgery was just before the lockdown and had taken a week off due to spotting before MC). I'm hoping you are both already pg and can move to pregnancy yoga from your living rooms 😘
