Hi,

I’m 29 and on cycle 2 of TTC. I’m 3dpo and now in my two week wait. I have no friends with children or anyone who is TTC so looking for online buddies to ride this out with!

Anybody in the same boat as me who wants to chat and be a little neurotic together?

Xx

Line progression from yesterday to today (bottom one!)
I don't think there's any doubt about it! 😯

Congratulations!!!

I’m out this month, fairly sure I ovulated later than I thought, I knew it was happening but I was on a night shift and knackered when I got home 😂

Fingers crossed for next month girls!

Suki2020 · 25/04/2020 15:14

@Popcat120 congratulations 🎉

mrsmummy111 · 25/04/2020 11:08

@Popcat120 honestly I really wouldn't be concerned with what other people are saying, they sound like very standard pregnancy symptoms to me and there's absolutely no way to tell this early on regardless.
I think they were probably saying it just to make you aware, but everyone's bosh is completely different and it isn't overly helpful when we all know how stressful TTC can be for some people anyway.
The best thing you can do is relax and enjoy it!!

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 10:43

Thanks @lolliloo1234 💗
Yeah I get that, if you're on a difficult journey ttc yourself, I get that it's so hard, it all Consuming and hats of to you all going through it every month struggling to conceive.
I feel so so lucky, with my DS and this time, we've fell first month of trying.

Every pregnancy is fragile, all I can do is hope it progresses well.
I'm not due til Thursday, so I think I will feel better by end of next week when AF hasn't shown up!

Btw I do know how to punctuate - bloody autocorrect with the useless apostrophes.

@Popcat120 I think people do that because they want to manage your expectations to prepare you for the worst so you don’t go through the same pain as them. Their intentions are probably good, however, I find in these threads people can become very consumed by their own journeys (because we all know it’s all consuming at time’s right?!) and forget that actually not every bodies experience is the same and they’re not being helpful!!!

Go and enjoy your wonderful news with your DH and celebrate. The more stress free you are, the better. I’m so so pleased for you lovely 🎉

I'm surprised, but did think I may be pregnant as I've been feeling off all week.
I've had similar symptoms to My first Pregnancy, and I just kinda knew from about 5dpo, found out at 11dpo last time.

I had cramps 4/5 dpo, left side.
Been feeling icky, appetite gone, not fancying anything to eat, headaches, dizzy spells, tired.
Then from about 8dpo I've had thick white sometimes yellowy dc.
Had cramps last night, real lower tummy. I rarely get period cramps.

I'm so nervous. It's still early, just Hoping the line progresses OK!

I posted it on another thread, and 2 girls told me they had all those. Symptoms then had a chemical, so Obv now I'm stressing about that!
Think it's really unfair to reflect personal experiences onto Someone else's bfp.

@mrsmummy111 Happy Saturday lovely!

God you’re lucky - I’m also CD5 and no sign of AF pissing off for me. I have a 7 day AF normally so I’m in it for the long haul.

I use the CB so again, someone else might have a different idea but their guidance is that if you have a 28 day cycle you start testing on CD8, 29 day cycle CD9 etc etc. I’m no expert though!

Although, post away with the results as I’ve read enough threads on here now to work out what you’re looking for.

Happy Saturday ladies!
CD5 here and AF is gone. My app predicts I will ovulate on CD14 (but obviously could be a few days out, who really knows). When should I start using OPKs?

Also I was wondering if I posted my results on here would you girls be able to help me work out what's going on. I've never used them before and am really confused!

Sammyclaire22 · 23/04/2020 22:47

I've been trying to kind of follow the smep plan the last few cycles, I seem to ovulate about cd11 though so basically as soon as AF finishes it's every other day until my peak then we try to dtd every day. Generally we only manage about 3 times in the fw though. I just tell my oh it's game on and he's happy with that. We had issues in the past with him feeling under pressure so I don't share any of the ttc stress tbh. Last thing we need at crucial time is a no show!

I use wilko opks- i bought a job lot on Amazon but they gave me high readings all over the place and freaked me out. Back to wilko and it's plain and simple. I can post a screen shot from my femometer app if thats a help? It has intelligent recognition so works out how strong the line is for you.

I usually test about 6pm, habit really but I read the afternoon or evening is better but generally the same time each day. My peaks tend to last at least 24 hours but if yours seem a short or you miss it then it's supposed to be every 4 hours once you get a high reading (according to my app). I use bbt too plus i track cm and they all seem to correlate within a day or so that's good!

Pretty sure AF is arriving tomorrow Sad already gearing up for the May bus! Got loads of random jobs done round the house today to keep busy so that's one silver lining

Lolliloo1234 · 23/04/2020 20:47

@mrsmummy111 I don’t bother discussing things like that with DP, he just gets come on to according to my schedule 😂😂 he just wants to come up with names etc for our hypothetical children.

I can’t be much help with the OPKs because I tried to use the cheapie ones and couldn’t get on with them as I never caught my surge. I use the clearblue digital but I know they’re expensive.

mrsmummy111 · 23/04/2020 20:10

I mentioned SMEP to DH and tried to explain how it worked and he just looked at me like I was stoned.

Maybe I didn't explain it very well 🤣

Whether he likes it or not, that's what we're doing though. Which OPKs are you girls using? I ordered cheap amazon ones but in fairness I've never even used them before. How many times a day are you supposed to use them? What time of day is best? Any advice welcome Smile xx

@Sammyclaire22 there is still a chance as you are only spotting as you are only 11dpo fingers crossed for you

Suki2020 · 22/04/2020 13:06

@lolliloo1234 glad you are feeling better. No I’ve never heard of sperm meets egg method. What is it? I’ve never had by line change on the chart before. If the chart is right then I’m now only 5DPO. I’ve had a headache last two days and pain today down below (sorry too much info) never had that before. Might be just reading too much into things now though.

Lolliloo1234 · 22/04/2020 12:48

Morning everyone!! Day one of antibiotics for me and really pleased to be on the mend - AF is really odd today so hopefully it’ll sort itself out! Has anyone ever taken chasteberry before?

@Suki2020 when I used to temp it would change constantly!! Have you tried the Sperm meets egg method of conception yet? It’s supposed to guarantee sperm and egg meetings regardless of temp? We’re going to try it this cycle.

@Sammyclaire sorry to hear it was likely an evap - I’m hoping it’s just too early to tell for you and that you’ll get your BFP. If not, great for us that we have you to chat to for another month!

Sammyclaire22 · 22/04/2020 12:39

Ok here, bfn frer this morning and I thought I was out but I've had more spotting today (day 3 spotting, 11dpo I think) which is now unusual for me, usually just one or two days. Feeling a bit sick too but think thats all in my head! Roll on AF to calm my brain!

Its annoying when the app changes things- has it put you forward or back?

Suki2020 · 22/04/2020 11:22

Morning ladies, how are you all this morning? So my temp chart has changed this morning and is now saying I ovulated late day 26. I got a BFN on a pregnancy test yesterday as I thought I was 14 DPO (days post ovulation) and then this morning my chart changed so confusing.

mrsmummy111 · 21/04/2020 21:43

Thanks @Sammyclaire22 but yes actually relieved weirdly enough. I was 99.9% sure I was out as I knew I had zero symptoms, and I've convinced myself I'll just "know" when I'm actually pg, so I feel oddly relieved that it's shown up early as it means the stressful waiting period is over for this month and we can start trying again sooner!

I definitely wouldn't rule it out immediately as evap! How many days DPO are you? Do you have any more tests?

@Lolliloo1234 Fingers crossed the antibiotics get to work quickly and you're not feeling too ropey! X
