3dpo and looking for TTC friends

Hi,

I’m 29 and on cycle 2 of TTC. I’m 3dpo and now in my two week wait. I have no friends with children or anyone who is TTC so looking for online buddies to ride this out with!

Anybody in the same boat as me who wants to chat and be a little neurotic together?

Xx

No sadly I don’t, just one more shitty Tesco one! I was going to be so good and wait until the day my period was due this month 😂 my mum is 300 miles away, I’ll have to settle for FaceTime hugs today ☹️

mrsmummy111 · 16/05/2020 08:36

Morning @Wineandrun

Yes - I'm feeling exactly the same. Just deflated and really meh at the moment. DS has 12 month jabs on Monday and we've had a really tough few months with him (he suffers terribly from constipation and is on medication for it which seems to be getting less and less effective) and it's made him grumpy beyond BELIEF. More so the last week. Yesterday morning I just called my mum crying and she came over and sat in the garden and gave me a virtual hug. Honestly just having her sitting there opposite me (as frowned upon as it may be!) made so much difference. Sometimes you just need a mum hug!

Do you have an FRER anywhere that you could take? A faint line to me is still a line!

Wineandrun · 16/05/2020 08:29

I’ve tested this morning and didn’t see anything until after 10 mins when there is a hint of a shadow so assuming evap. It’s a Tesco test though and I think they’re a bit crap, I need to get something better. Think I’m only 9DPO, possibly 10. My boobs have been hurting since 5DPO but no other symptoms, but then with my other pregnancies I didn’t get any symptoms except sore boobs until I was about 5-6 weeks.

I’m feeling properly miserable today, lockdown is getting on top of me, the kids haven’t stopped fighting all morning, work is stressful, I sneaked downstairs early for a cup of tea and 5 mins peace with the news and within minutes my 4 year old was throwing an almighty tantrum because I wouldn’t put sodding milkshake on, i just want to know if this is my month or not, I want my mum!!!! Sorry, needed that outpour 😂

@Sammyclaire22 I’m so happy for you, it’s lovely to hear positive news.

@mrsmummy111 I agree, don’t count yourself out until AF turns up, you never know!!!

@Lolliloo1234 any news this morning? Sending love xx

Sammyclaire22 · 16/05/2020 08:10

I think this was cycle 9- I loose track as they arnt the full month. This could still.be your month, keep positive x

Have you had any more bleeding @Lolliloo1234? X

Sammyclaire22 · 16/05/2020 08:07

You can't compare cycles @mrsmummy111 your implantation might be 5 days apart! I wouldn't have seen anything at 8dpo, and even today at 10dpo it's very very faint. Last time by 10dpo I had loads of symptoms too but so far all I've had is extra small cramps and slight hayfever symptoms. Cervix is low, no cm the last few days no metallic taste or anything like with my dd!
I'm only worried as I had a chemical a few cycles ago, but just to conceive and implant is a massive hurdle so I'm celebrating the small steps

mrsmummy111 · 16/05/2020 08:03

How's everything this morning @Lolliloo1234

I'm going to have to start a new thread of my own at this rate!!! (So so so thrilled for you girls though, positive vibes only!!!)

mrsmummy111 · 16/05/2020 07:58

No DONT think like that @Sammyclaire22 there's absolutely no reason to assume it's chemical! You've had a baby already, your body knows what it's doing. Absolutely over the moon for you! I'm out this month as tested yesterday (8DPO) which I know seems mega early but with my last pg I was having strong symptoms by this point so I'm pretty sure I'd know by now.

But you've given me hope. I'm sitting here cuddling DS and reminding myself why I'm putting myself through it all again. Fingers crossed it happens for us soo.n too!

What cycle was this for you? X

Sammyclaire22 · 16/05/2020 07:45

Tested again this morning and it's slightly darker... still in shock tbh! Not getting my hopes up too much yet incase it's another chemical as I'm only 10dpo today, then have to hope it's in the right place 🤞🤞

mrsmummy111 · 16/05/2020 07:10

OMG @Sammyclaire22 !!!!!! Incredible news. Positive vibes, if it came up on both it's deffo a line and not an evap GrinGrinGrin

Sammyclaire22 · 15/05/2020 22:05

So I really really wasn't going to test early, but I was in a funk about it all and caved and did a cheapie to shut my brain up. I thought I could see a faint shadow so did a frer (as you do, or at least I do as I clearly have no willpower) and a faint line came up in about 30s. Not getting my hopes up too much but my oh can see it so im not imagining it! Just hoping it came up too quickly to be an evap 🤞

mrsmummy111 · 15/05/2020 12:41

Oh wow @Lolliloo1234 !!!!!! Very emotional times.
I think the best thing you can do is rest and let your body do what it needs to do. A faint second line means something is DEFINITELY happening, and trust me when I say your body can do some very very weird things when going through pregnancy. I had bleeding with my DS randomly as did a lot of other people I know.

Don't lose hope, the best thing you can do right now is stay positive. Regardless of what happens, I doubt AF will show up as normal on Sunday. For now.....if there's a faint line you're pregnant so look after yourself and try to not panic. Sending lots of hugs

Sammyclaire22 · 15/05/2020 12:32

I don't blame you, curl up warm and look after yourself. I hope you feel better soon xx

Lolliloo1234 · 15/05/2020 11:28

The bleeding has stopped again. I just would like AF to hit properly now (never thought I’d say that as what is going on is cruel). I have a UTI (more antibiotics) and that residual infection (still taking those antibiotics) and the weird daily morning bleeding.
I think today is a hibernation day. Hopefully whatever will be will have been by Sunday when AF was origionally due so I’ll get an answer.

Oh I'm sorry to hear that @lolliloo1234, it still might have a positive outcome (I had heavy bleeds with my dd) but if the test gets stronger or doesnt fade contact your gp incase you need an early scan. Either way its a mind feck for you so sending big hugs xx

Wineandrun · 15/05/2020 08:15

@Lolliloo1234 ah I’m sorry you’re bleeding, I’d say don’t give up hope but I’m not sure that’s fair, we are all with you as you ride it out xxx my period was 2 days late last month and much heavier than normal following that very faint line, I’m sure there was something going on so I do have an idea of what you’re going through. However some people do bleed when pregnant so I still have my fingers crossed for you xxxx

Hi @Attybae welcome!

Attybae · 15/05/2020 07:46

Hello! I’m new here. I’m 29 and I turn 30 this year. My DH (darling husband) and I have been TTC (trying to conceive) for a year with no luck. 3/4 of that year was spent with him working offshore but he now is home for good. I have no bio children and no known fertility issues. It gets frustrating when I feel like I’m doing everything as far as opks to make sure we have sex before during and after ovulation. I got a strong positive ovulation test on May 8th so according to my app today is 6dpo. I’m really praying and hoping this is my month

Lolliloo1234 · 15/05/2020 07:21

Hi,
So I took a pregnancy test and there’s a faint second line BUT I’m bleeding much more heavily today so I think that whatever it was/is will probably not be there much longer. I’ll take another test on Sunday to rule out anything more sinister but I think that’s me out for this month!

Lolliloo1234 · 14/05/2020 19:49

@mrsmummy111 I did in the end, trying to keep up with excitable little people whilst you feel like crap is bloody hard! Thank goodness my colleague let me go home. Just been sat on the sofa since I got in.

@Sammyclaire22 the antibiotics are kind of working but now I’m sure they’ve given me a UTI. Lmao with one hand they give, with the other they take away. I’ve never had so many issues 😂😂
That’s so bizzare that a doctor would put it down to that. That’s such a shit thing to happen to you, I’m sorry.

8dpo is super early still...I find that this whole thing is like a Russian roulette, the odds are low but you still sometimes luck out?!

Sammyclaire22 · 14/05/2020 19:34

Ahh @Lolliloo1234 sounds like a nightmare, it's not good you are feeling so rough with it. Are the antibiotics still helping? How many dpo are you now?

My first pregnancy I had a normal period and the gp said it was implantation bleeding even though it was heavy and for days (literally a normal period). Turned out it was ectopic, (it was different bleeding than you are having so I'm not comparing them) but it shows the gp at least thought IB can present in random ways.

I'm 8dpo and having the odd twinge but nothing else to report really. One min I have high hopes the next I think what's the point! Glad we are all in the boat together!

mrsmummy111 · 14/05/2020 19:26

@Lolliloo1234 did you go home in the end? Hope you're feeling a bit better. If you have come down with something it's bloody terrible timing.

On the other hand, if you are pregnant ITS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!

Lolliloo1234 · 14/05/2020 13:18

@mrsmummy111 thank you! I’m not holding out any hope. I just think I’m poorly. I’m going to have to go home from work I think, I feel sick to my stomach, I’m exhausted (my eyes are stinging I’m so tired) and TMI but I’m constipated. All of these could be bloody covid at this rate!

This bleeding scenario is just bizzare. I just can’t see a way of bleeding for four days (albeit a wipe each time apart from Monday) and something good coming from it. Thank you for your kind words, they really make me feel better!!

Forgot to tag you @Lolliloo1234

mrsmummy111 · 14/05/2020 10:21

I really hate it when people give others false hope, but it just sounds so much like pg symptoms. I really really think implantation bleeding is unusual and totally different for each woman so I honestly wouldn't rule it out. I would keep testing as your body can do very weird things. Fingers, toes, arms & legs crossed for you!

Lolliloo1234 · 14/05/2020 09:49

@mrsmummy111 @eloise19888 tiniest bit of bleeding - just a swipe again. So it’s definitely gone on too long to be implantation. Feel absolutely horrendous today. Thought I was going to vomit on my way into work. I think I’m unwell. I had THE sharpest pain in my lower right abdomen last night, it took my breath away.

7dpo is super early - you won’t get symptoms until you implant which is between 6&12dpo!

OP posts:
mrsmummy111 · 14/05/2020 09:28

7DPO here too @eloise19888 ! (Well, at least I think so. Not entirely sure exactly when I ovulated)

Similarly no symptoms though. Think by now I'd be feeling something so just preparing myself for AF 🙁

How you doing @Lolliloo1234 - any more bleeding?
