3dpo and looking for TTC friends

Hi,

I’m 29 and on cycle 2 of TTC. I’m 3dpo and now in my two week wait. I have no friends with children or anyone who is TTC so looking for online buddies to ride this out with!

Anybody in the same boat as me who wants to chat and be a little neurotic together?

Xx

@mrsmummy111 that is a symptom, as you can imagine I have done extensive research in this area lol and it is.

@Lolliloo1234 They definitely sound like symptoms to me!!!! I think I ovulated only one day after you and I feel absolutely zero difference, none whatsoever. So I'm 99999.9% sure I'm not pregnant. Kinda already accepted that I'm not as in my head I've got this stupid idea that I know what it feels like (in reality it was 2 years ago and I have no idea what it really felt like!), but anything in the boob area is definitely something to watch out for.
I have had a sore lower back - is that a symptom anyone 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wineandrun · 14/04/2020 22:27

@Dimosaur totally with you there, I’m terrified about telling work when the time comes! I think they see me as someone who has done with having a family and they will be very shocked 😂 also I completely admit that I hated being pregnant both yikes, I loved the fact I was carrying a child but actually being pregnant is hard! The thought of having morning sickness again 🤢

Hi @Imisssleep2018 :)

Dimosaur · 14/04/2020 21:48

Is it just me feeling nervous about being pregnant again?
Nervous about the state of the world.
Nervous about telling my job (if it happens quickly) as ive only been there a few months 🙈
Same job, different department.
Nervous about going through it all again.
But... I also really want another baby!

Imisssleep2018 · 14/04/2020 21:07

Hello ladies... can I join please? First month of trying to concieve, have an 18 month old already.

I hate hate hate this tww! Approx 6 dpo.... had awful cramps today..... already obsessed with poas and of course getting BFN's!

I think it's harder this time as working from home and have more time to think about it!

Dogsinsocks · 14/04/2020 20:53

Thank you! I didn't even think about asking, it was just natural lol. She doesn't drive and I didn't want her taking the bus, especially so since everything has been going on lately. Been checking in with her too to make sure she's been keeping well and eating the right things. I feel like her mum 🤣

Lolliloo1234 · 14/04/2020 20:47

@Suki2020 yeah I’m going to test on Friday which will be two days before AF so hopefully an FRER will show it up if I am. It could be just putting on weight rapidly, when I was pregnant many moons ago I had terrible palpitations and my boobs hurt which I don’t have either of now so I’m dubious!

@Dogsinsocks what an amazing friend you are to put her before yourself and drive her to appointments. You should be really proud of yourself that you’re doing that for her. She’s very lucky.

@wineandrun I am with you but because I didnt try first time I am struggling with obsessing this time.

Is it bad to be scared it wont work when you are already blessed with a child.

Xx

Dogsinsocks · 14/04/2020 20:38

@Lolliloo1234 it's just so hard isn't it ☹️ I'm so happy for my bestie as we have grown up together and it's her first but I can't help but feel jealous when she hasnt been actively trying. I've offered to drive her to her appointment's and stuff but it's just so difficult sitting outside and waiting 😭

Suki2020 · 14/04/2020 20:38

@Lolliloo1234 it does sound like you have all the symptoms of being pregnant hun. Did you say it was Friday you will test again?
I feel so deflated today, not knowing if I’ve ovulated or not this month, the Unknown is the worst.

Wineandrun · 14/04/2020 20:33

Fingers crossed for you @rosie990 xx I’m ok thanks, trying to distract myself as I promised myself I wouldn’t get obsessive, I know how lucky I am to already have children but now we’ve decided that we’re not done and want another I want it to happen now 😂😂

Lolliloo1234 · 14/04/2020 20:28

@Suki2020 - I deffo do feel different in the sense that my boobs are so heavy and have got huge, my nipples (soz) have got larger and darker and I’m so tired. DP keeps commenting on the fact I’m as hot as the surface of the sun. BUT I have been eating too much to be honest (comfort eating is my downfall) so all of those could just be side effects of over indulgence really. If I’m not PG this month then I deffo need to go on a diet 😂😂😂.

Hi @Dogsinsocks, welcome! I totally know what you mean, my cousin got pregnant first cycle and has now got a 4 week old and my adopted sister had her ovary removed last July and got pregnant first cycle on November. I am so happy for them but my heart aches for my own child when I see pictures and posts etc.

@wineandrun @mrsmummy111 I agree with you I have never had pains like I had earlier.

I remember getting cramps before finding out i was pregnant with my son.

I have thought about late ovulation but my period is due next tuesday at the latest based on a 35 day cycle so it's out of the question based on the signs I had earlier this month.

Just have to wait and see whatever it was it was strange

How are you both?

Suki2020 · 14/04/2020 20:17

@Lolliloo1234 fingers crossed for you hun. Do you feel different this month?

Hi @dogsinsocks

Dogsinsocks · 14/04/2020 19:50

Hi ladies, hope it's okay to post here! I'm sort of new to all of this Blush
I'm 23 and Cycle #3 of actively trying and this month DTD the two days, day before and day of O. After that I was so tired I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow 😴 currently 7dpo, no recognisable symptoms or anything different ☹️
So nice to have some people to talk to - it seems like everyone around me is pregnant / just had babies. My sister in law has a week old son and my best friend has just announced to me that she's 8 weeks. Over the moon for her but tad jealous! ☹️

Lolliloo1234 · 14/04/2020 18:51

Just an update - I took one of the internet cheapie tests today (I caved - I’m going mad and I’m ok with it haha) and it was a BFN. No symptoms whatsoever today apart from being super tired. Just want Friday to hurry up now to take another FRER! Hoping for the best but like you said @mrsmummy111 I think you just know.

Hi @rosie990
I agree with @Wineandrun - I didn't get implantation pains with my first pregnancy but I regularly get ovulation pains xx

Wineandrun · 14/04/2020 15:52

@rosie990 I had a very similar thing last night, but I thought I was only 5/6 DPO. It even made me wonder if actually I was ovulating late atlas it was ovulation pain. No bleeding, just cramps. I didn’t get any kind of implantation cramps or bleeding with the two pregnancies I’ve had.

rosie990 · 14/04/2020 14:42

Ladies do any of you have experiance with implantation cramps or bleeding. I am about 7/8dpo today and this morning for about 40 minutes I have sharp pains on the right lower side.

They cramped for a minute and them went repeatedly and like nothing I have experienced before.

I dont know if I am clutching at a new straw xxx

Suki2020 · 14/04/2020 13:13

@Lovebug06 I’m new to this too, so don’t worry. Just learning as I go. CM will be stretchy. Mine is always watery and the I may get one where it’s stretchy. I have no other ovulation symptoms, I tend to find out I’ve ovulated the day after when my temp spikes. So I’m still learning and just hoping one day it will work. I’ve been on the pill 18yrs straight before I came of the pill and I didn’t have my first period until 18months later which was worrying but they now have returned since end of last year. I am waiting to have a scan done to check everything is ok but guess I’ll be waiting a while with this virus around but we will keep trying in the mean time.

Lovebug06 · 14/04/2020 12:46

@Suki2020 it's called clue, I have no idea if it's any good or not, as I'm totally new to all this but I'm recording everything on it. Well tbh I didn't really have a clue about it all, but I did have some stuff come out which was clearish (sorry TMI) and I think that means I'm ovulating? Which I thought was earlier than expected but that sounds normal then. I thought I was due on Monday. However my cycle could change I think so how will I know if its just late or my cycle is longer? Well I guess with a test. Sorry I sound totally stupid it's just all so new to me! Before being on the pill when I was very young I was always regular but it's been so long (14years) so I don't know if I am now.

Suki2020 · 14/04/2020 11:27

Hi @lovebug06 what app are you using? Do you find it easy enough to track your ovulation? I’ve found my ovulation day can be anything between day 14-18, I used to have irregular periods so that didn’t help but since end of last year they are generally between 32-35days.

Lovebug06 · 14/04/2020 11:12

Hi hope I can join. I am on cycle two. Came off the pill after many years. Due my period in a few days. Ttc my first. Haven't used ovulation sticks and I really don't want to get obsessed, however I do look at an app all the time 😂 I was tracking when it would say I'd ovulate but I think it happened a few days early. I haven't told my DH when I'm ovulating as I know he will be put off he hates 'planned sex' Grin so just trying to do it regulary. Seems as if everyone around me is pregnant at the moment, so badly want this myself but aware it can take ages.

mrsmummy111 · 14/04/2020 11:03

Oh @HopeWish don't feel deflated!!! 8 DPO is very early even with early tests, there's a chance you haven't even gone through implantation yet. Like others have said, you're not out until AF arrives!

I've actually vowed to not take any pregnancy tests until I feel something, which I know sounds ridiculous, but I just feel like my body will tell me if I am. Every single woman I've ever asked said they knew they were pregnant when they took the test that was positive. Every other month they secretly hoped, and I was the same - I just knew. So until I feel it, I'm not going to put myself through it. It's just too upsetting 😞

Haha @Dimosaur we actually only have one DS and he's a very good sleeper - down at 7, up at 7 (except this morning when he was up at 5????!!!!!! He's due more teeth so may explain it) anyway, it does make it harder as obviously we're far more tired than we were pre-kids so it's a bit more of an effort shall we say!

Anyone else been sleeping really badly?! I kept waking every hour last night and can't think why.

Dimosaur · 14/04/2020 10:24

Gosh those of you with kids already, how do you find the time to ttc?
We've only Managed once so far, so I'm not hopeful for this month.
I'm not furiously tracking anything, but I do track my periods every month on the flo app just so I'm not caught out, according to that I ovulate tomorrow, so I'm really hoping I can get LO to stay in his bed tonight!! 😂
