Hi,

I’m 29 and on cycle 2 of TTC. I’m 3dpo and now in my two week wait. I have no friends with children or anyone who is TTC so looking for online buddies to ride this out with!

Anybody in the same boat as me who wants to chat and be a little neurotic together?

Xx

@sammyclaire22 i take my bbt every morning between about 7:15 it’s always around the same time give or take 15mins. I do it as soon as I wake up. I haven’t been sleep that great, been waking up a few times in the night but I don’t get up I just lay there and I do end up going back to sleep. I’m dreaming a lot lately too.

Sammyclaire22 · 18/04/2020 21:15

No problem @naera95. We are all in this together! Tbh the long time ttc made all the long night hours of colic and reflux with my dd more bearable as I just reminded myself of what the alternative could be.

How do you take your bbt @suki2020? Had you any alcohol the night before or disturbed sleep? So much can affect readings. I don't know which day I ovulated this month as my neighbour rang for advice early doors (her husband is under my dept at work and is pretty ill) and it affected my reading even just a couple of mins on the phone.

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 19:59

Do you think I have ovulated and then has a possible implantation dip or an anovulation? I’m so confused and it’s starting to mess with my head now.

@mrsmummy111 I googled this morning pregnancy test dpos and was fascinated how you can get a negative that is actually a positive the right amount of days later. I'm new to this, but 8dpo sounds early so hand in thereDaffodil

mrsmummy111 · 18/04/2020 14:51

Happy Saturday ladies! I'm 8DPO today. When I was pregnant with DS my eczema flared up for the first time since I was a teen. Today, out of nowhere my eczema is awful. This is the first day its ever come back since I was pregnant. Just took an internet cheapie though and BFN so think it's just coincidence 😞

How are you all getting on? X

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 13:33

@suki2020 it took about 6 months for my cycles to go back to normal

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 12:52

@Naera95 how long did it take for your periods to return to normal?

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 11:14

@suki2020 yes I was on the pill for 10 years and it really screwed my system up. Oh yay well that sounds very positive my fingers are crossed for you!!

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 10:54

@naera95 yeah first child. I’ve been off the pill for 2yrs but only really been trying this year. We were very much before if it happens it happens but it took a long time for my periods to return. Yes it’s very disheartening when it doesn’t happen. I had a little cramping earlier in the week and my temp dropped but other than that nothing. Although I still have watery CM (sorry too much info) which is very unusual for me at this stage. So confused this month. I decided not to test unless my period is late this time.

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 10:46

My cycle usually 28-30 days. Trying for your first child? It’s my first and not cycle 10 now. What about you? No not really any symptoms trying not to think of it to much as I always get my hopes up for it to be let down. How are you symptoms going?

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 09:47

@naera95 do you mean first cycle? How long is your cycle normally? I’m normally 32-35days. Do you have any symptoms at the moment?

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 09:39

@Suki2020 we must have a similar cycle my periods due next Friday/Saturday. My fingers are crossed for you. Is this your first?

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 08:31

Morning everyone, how are you all doing? So my period is due next fri/sat, going to wait this month until I’m due on my period before I test as I’ve done so many and they are always negative. It’s my birthday next Sunday so it would be the best present if I have a positive test. I’ve had a dip in temp on 8DPO and then a big rise so fingers crossed. Only feel bloated a little though now. I did have a little cramping a day or two before my temperature dipped though.

Naera95 · 17/04/2020 22:47

@Sammyclaire22 thank you for your support. Ok that helps me keep faith that it took you that long. I feel like everyone around me is getting pregnant and It makes it so much harder. But trying to stay positive this cycle

Lolliloo1234 · 17/04/2020 20:43

@Dimosaur I feel the same but probably because I’m nursing a savage hangover 🙈 was starting to feel like TTC was taking over my life so had a bit too much fun on House Party with my girlfriends...oops!

2dpo is very early, but stranger things have happened! I guess if the symptoms get stronger then test in a little while!

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 19:25

@mrsmummy111 not 100%, not been tracking properly. Just going by what my period tracker says!
My first pregnancy I had these symptoms from about 7dpo, then positive 10dpo on a frer!
Probably just being paranoid!

mrsmummy111 · 17/04/2020 19:15

2 DPO sounds v.early @Dimosaur but then again, surely not impossible! Are you sure you ovulated when you think you did?

Dimosaur · 17/04/2020 18:49

I think I'm only 2dpo... But I feel so sick today after eating. Couldn't finish my tea, and I'm exhausted.
Just like my first pregnancy!
Surely can't be having symptoms this early?!

Sammyclaire22 · 17/04/2020 12:52

Hi all- I totally get the weird dreams thing. I often get them towards the end of my cycle but this month they have been crazy vivid. Although fb told me it's possibly due to all the upheaval with Covid so trying not to think it's a sign!

@naera95 keep having faith it will happen- my 1st took 13months ttc and the month before I conceived her I had an ectopic and lost a tube. She was worth the wait though! Cycle 7 I think now of trying for number 2 but each month is just as hard as the one before!

mrsmummy111 · 17/04/2020 12:41

@HopeWish Sorry to hear about AF but equally means you can get started on cycle 2 again quickly.
Would you mind explaining how SMEP works?! X

HopeWish · 17/04/2020 12:12

Hi @Lolliloo1234

My cycle 1 AF came right on time, but this is definitely AF. Odd because I also O'd early this cycle (day 10/11). So altogether the cycle lasted 21 days - quite short for me!

Oh well - onwards! I think I might try SMEP this new cycle as don't think I DTD enough this last one.

Snowberry4 · 17/04/2020 12:03

Still nothing much to report here at 6DPO but just wanting to say hi to everyone and hope everyone's coping with his TWW giving the circumstances. Love to you all x

mrsmummy111 · 17/04/2020 09:22

@Lolliloo1234 How lovely. I think some of these threads are really wonderful, lots of women supporting each other and truly happy for each other when they do conceive. It's a lot less lonely to know that you're not going through it alone.

Naera95 · 17/04/2020 09:19

@mrsmummy111 tracking my ovulation with clearblue digital. Aw wow that really makes me feel better knowing that I’m not the only one out there.

Lolliloo1234 · 17/04/2020 08:51

Morning all lovely ladies! 👋

You never know - unless AF arrives in full force we aren’t out until then. And if we are - we can spend another month panicking, symptom spotting and line squinting together on here!!
No AF until Monday for me but I’m pretty sure I’m out this month.
@HopeWish funnily enough on my cycle #1 of trying my period came early too. It could be implantation bleeding for you if it’s not a full force AF but our bodies do really odd things when we don’t want them to.
@Naera95 I know it must be so hard not to get disheartened - how are you tracking your ovulation if you don’t mind me asking? I saw another thread with these three ladies who supported each other through TTC and it took all three of them over a year but they all have babies now.
