Guess I'm joining the May bus after another chemical pregnancy this month. Hopefully May might bring me some luck 🍀🤞🏼😬❤️🌈

I've got a week left before I can test and really dont think I can wait any longer 🙊🙈

@Positivetime and @Karanciri I think it depends on the length if your cycle. Sometimes the instructions give you a guide. If you have a shorter cycle cd8 might be a good place to start, but a longer cycle maybe cd12? I know I don't ovulate until around cd18-20 but that is later than most women. You should get a positive opk a day or two before ovulation.

@MoonW that's exciting! Sounds like if you can bd tomorrow too you'll be all set.

My AF is just about finished. Still got a while until ovulation but time isn't dragging too much. We're going to try and have lots of fun DTD this month, and make it less chore like. Raspberry leaf tea has just arrived so going to drink some each day (apparently it's meant to strengthen the womb...?!).

CD15 today and a blazing positive OPK 😁

Not BD’d as much as we’d planned because DH wasn’t feeling great the other night, so only managed twice so far this fertile window (once on CD12 and then this morning). So going to try to again tomorrow and the next day just in case but hopefully it will be enough and AF keeps away for longer this cycle to give it a chance🤞

@ApplePie86 my last cycle was 46 days long. Although I don’t have PCOS (or so I’ve not been told), I know how frustrating it is :( especially when you’re waiting for everything to happen and then find out whether you were lucky or not! Fx you’ll be lucky this month🤞🏼

CD6 now with last cycles 46 and 54 days long. PCOS so a long journey ahead probably :-(

Well yesterday, I had cramps on and off all day and pain in my lower back, my boobs are killing me too! Hoping it's a sign of implantation and not af coming, I'm due on in a week x

@Positivetime please don’t feel like you aren’t allowed to be upset! You totally are! Regardless of whether or not it is your first cycle shouldn’t matter, because you wouldn’t be trying if you didn’t want it to happen and then for AF to be late will have no doubt caused some excitement. We’re all here for each other and completely understand both the good days and the bad

Hi @Positivetime Sorry to hear that you were late, that’s horrible when that happens. I was 12 days late this month! I haven’t heard before that shorter periods affect chances of pregnancy but I can’t be sure! I think it’s quite common for people to only bleed for a few days! I think people recommend starting the OPK kits from around day 8 but again I’m not totally sure as I don’t use them! Sending you lots of luck this month

We both agreed we would actively avoid ttc for April, however we’ve been really bad and only used protection once... so it’s not going well 😂
26yo, ttc and completely obsessive about it since December. Opk’s, cervical checking, cm tracking, DTD everyday during “window” and, lying upside down after it for 20 mins, using preseed, the lot 😂 Super irregular cycles since off pill in August.

On the plus side, since we “stopped trying” DTD has been a lot more fun, and funny enough, we’ve been doing it a lot more as my “appetite” has been raging this month! Who knew 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve not been tracking anything either, so am super relaxed and no idea about when I ov’d. CD29 is all I know 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Sdoo4 I use the Ovaview brand and get them from amazon. £13 and 60 tests so means I can use them a couple times a day without worrying I’m about to run out or costing an arm and a leg.

Although getting frustrated as the dye was practically repelled from the test line the last few days (this is clearly my hormones and not reflective of the sticks 🤣)

Hey everyone, I’m joining from the April bus. TTC number 2 and May will be cycle number 3.

AF has been and gone and after a pretty down week I’m back to being positive and ready to go again. Last month was my first time using OPKs, I used the clear blue 2 most fertile days but used up 8 of them before I got my positive smiley face. Is there any recommendations for other OPK kits? Something I can buy online preferably or at the supermarket when I can get out to do my essential shopping.

Also, what else are we all doing? Anything different this time round?

Hello! I would like to hop in the bus! TTC #2. Period started today, this will be my 5th cycle. Bought preseed to try. Otherwise i plan to relax and try and BD as much as possible without the stress of ovulation sticks (although i do have a box full...)

If you use ovulation kits when do you start testing from? Right once your period ends or do you wait a week?

Hi sad to say my period has just arrived 5 days late. Was my first proper cycle of trying so didn’t have high hopes until period was late, as I’m always on time.
Really feeling upset over this when I know I shouldn’t. Might be period hormones!
I have bought ovulation sticks but does anyone have any advice on what to do next? I just feel a little lost and clueless. My other worry is my periods are also quite short these days. Does that reduce pregnancy chance along with my age of 35?

Hello :) Trying to conceive first baby. Today is day one of cycle. This will be my second cycle properly trying. It's been a long road to get to this point where we are in a position to actually try so I'm really excited. First cycle I got a bit carried away with symptom spotting so this time round I'm going to track ovulation and obviously try lots on those days but after my ovulation window is over I'm going to try my best to just relax go on like normal and keep myself busy rather than thinking every cramp is pregnancy!

Ohh, I've only had it happened once, my periods are normally spotting for 1 day, 3/4 days full flow and a couple of days spotting at the end. It was very strange for me @minister2012

Yeah I’m pretty sure I’m not pregnant @Aimy1 I’m just worried my lining doesn’t get thick & therefore small periods which was an issue during AF. It would be a problem for a pregnancy 😕

@Minster2012 I had exactly the same last month. I tested positive on 3 tests up to 5 days before due on. My period arrived a day early but with very little spotting. The next day was full flow and then the 3rd day was light spotting and then nothing after. I then tested again whilst spotting and was negative x

Can I jump on? AF was supposed to arrive on Sunday but got a BFN on Monday so not feeling particularly hopeful. I've been convinced for the past few days that I could still be in with a chance but woken up this morning feeling different - not particularly sure why!

My AF has come & gone with only one day of flow & tony spotting on each day either side
My first period after an IVF MC but I’ve only ever had one other & that too was v light

Does it mean anything do we think?
