We’ve not told anyone we are TTC specifically but we are diff Cos we had IVF due to my chemo so those that know about the miscarriage from that do likely guess I’m not going back on contraception which I had to be on for my chemo. In fact my parents do know. Only my best friend who carried our son knows about everything & knew about the IVF when we did it. But I am the exception & come from a negative standpoint whereas you guys should conceive quickly when tracking xx

I had a meltdown earlier too. Just started crying and literally couldn't stop so this has made me smile again.

All our close friends and parents know we are TTC. I couldn't lie anymore and I need their support sometimes. Everyone's different though. And also gotta do what works for you. I don't find anyone asks me how I'm getting on though. I'm sure they know I will tell them when there's anything to tell.

Just saw some asking about how I'm doing 😊 I'm ok, I'm about 5-6 DPO and I feel nothing. I've had slight cramping like AF which is due here in a few days. I have a very small LP this cycle so I'm just waiting for AF to arrive but I could be wrong. 🤞🏻

@GingerBaby89 most of my close friends know but I won't tell family until we're nearing the 12 week mark I think.

@GingerBaby89 We haven't told anybody and plan to keep it that way until pregnant and had the first scan! Probably will tell parents beforehand but nobody else.

What's everyone done about telling nearest and dearest that they're trying?

We we're going to keep schtum until we fell but the Christmas wine got the better of us with a couple of friends and parents over the festive period 🤦🏻‍♀️ luckily no one's asked anything since though so there's not much pressure from people.

@babyG123 haha think that's a good thing! Sometimes we go from 1 fertile window to the next with nothing in between That's what TTC for 1yr+ can do for your sex life! I need to work at keeping it fun & not chore-like but overall it's ok.

Haha this chat has kept me entertained!! @Minster2012 and @Newbie0818 we are the same. DH could go within no time of starting whereas it takes me a bit more. Hence the love for the bullet. Especially when ttc and lets be honest you're having sex when you're not always in the mood at the beginning.

I would try giving seed cycling a try- sounds fairly easy & reasonably cheap too.

@newbie0818 - the homeopath has given me folliculinum 30c which is supposed to promote ovulation. Not a food, but thought it worth mentioning! I have to take it certain days of my cycle. Seed cycling is supposed to help the hormones regulate too, which in turn might help? All old wives remedies, I expect, but nevertheless!

On a less orgasmic note, does anyone know of foods that supposedly promote ovulation? I have a gut feeling that that is the issue, and my doctor has put me through for a blood test to check. Until then though I’m willing to try anything to normalise my cycles again!

I envy you for that @MrsEmilyB! It’s the opposite with us, takes me ages and he can “deposit” within minutes. Luckily he can keep going for ages after and go again. A very useful tool for the fw haha.
