Hey ladies, I seem to only check on here every few days, but I always go back and read everything

I have been doing OPKS since CD10 I got a dark line yesterday morning and afternoon but unfortunately not a peak. This evening was then really light. Although I missed the definitive peak, can I assume it was a peak? I did have EWCM yesterday and we DTD, but I really want to try and figure out roughly when I ovulate for TWW purposes.

Literally have the worse baby brain and DS1 is 13 months so can't really use that excuse anymore 🙈

@babyG123 I’m glad I’m not the only one.... couldn’t understand why dinner wasn’t cooking a couple of nights ago until DH pointed out that I had set the oven to a ‘defrost’ setting and had simply been defrosting raw food for the last 20 minutes. I didn’t even know we had a defrost setting and we’ve had the same oven for years 🤷‍♀️😂

OH swears I'm pregnant but I think it's lock down 🤣

Last pregnancy I was just doing stupid things all the time deodorant in the fridge etc.

This last week I've (1) put the babies dinner in the oven, set a timer. Gone to get it out and it's still raw as I didn't turn the oven on. (2) got angry the toaster is broken but havent turnt the switch on. (3) made a Sunday roast..... today..... Saturday. 🤣😱

Yeah @runnergirl1 it is still quite low but higher than the last few days so I'm hoping it will start to climb the next day or 2 and that I get my peak soon🤞🏻

I'm with you @newbie0818 mine like yours still negatbut darker than usual. Finger crossed for us for this late ovulation xx

@Skyla01 I agree- I was complete wasted the first month I was pregnant with DS1 as didn't find out until later with our little surprise. (Not advising this 🤣)

@Skyla01 I'm not banning myself completely, don't think I'd keep it up! I'm just going to try and abstain as much as possible, I'm not a huge drinker anyway and my OH only drinks beer at home so it's all we've got in and I can do without that quite easily.

@Sausage1990 your very true there. I think I would go completely nuts if I didn’t have all you lovely ladies on here keeping me sane by not being the only one going through this. I’ve had a 30before but still think that’s very low as it goes upto 79. Fingers crossed we get there though. Rooting for you x

@Ltay2 I don't think a drink or two during the tww does any harm. I used to avoid alcohol but quite a few cycles later decided not to bother abstaining anymore...

@babyG123 Ohhh that actually sounds amazing!! Will definitely give that a go sometime once I've got everything needed!

@Ltay2 this is going to sound strange but if you like pimms there's a recipe I had with slimming world. Sounds gross but is yum and I had it when pregnant with ds1.

A jug of pimms =

1litre lemonade
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Usually mint, orange, strawberries etc.

Yum yum yum

AF arrived today so I’m transferring from April to May bus. Think I’m going to invest in one of the CB ovulating kits as I used cheapies this month and found it a bit too much guess work.

@Newbie0818 I think ovulation sticks can detect pregnancy but I don't know how or when in the cycle it would show up etc

So it’s negative, but now I’m confused as it’s darker than my usual negative opk’s 🙈 and this was quite a diluted wee. I hate my body sometimes haha! I might do another one later just in case.

Well apparently they can @Minster2012 but ofc everyone’s body is different.

Ladies today I have some fertile cm!!!!

My opk at 11am was high but only just (29 for anyone familiar with the femometer app) and I didn't have any fertile cm but this afternoon its changed so I'm guna do another test next time I need the loo.

@runnergirl1 I was losing hope too and actually feeling really defeated by it all... But I'm cd29 today and I see a glimmer of hope. I agree with @newbie0818 the works is a wierd place and our bodies are reacting to it... Ovulation can be delayed due to stress and I certainly an sensitive to it. As you've both said - we can only do what we can do. Patience & positivity is all we can ask for at the moment... And support from all these wonderful ladies who we are all sharing this journey with.

I'm feeling positive again girls... Bring on the positive OPK & BDing 😉💕🥂

@Newbie0818 I don’t know, is LH the same as HCG? Would an OPK pick up pregnancy? I’ve no idea

Well my usual Saturday routine of 'clean the house, bath, glass of something alcoholic' has gone out the window this week 🤣 still cleaned and had a (warm not the usual boiling hot) bath but now what to drink that still feels like a treat 🤔 this TWW is killing me, just want it over with one way or the other then can get going again!

@Minster2012 I haven’t as I can’t face the disappointment. I don’t “feel” pg tbh. I’ve peed on an opk today which was negative just to get the urge of poas out of my systems 😂 it was negative, so surely I’m not pg as it would have picked up?

@skyla01 me too! Although the idea was to NOT get pg this month haha.

Does anyone know, can Your Opk just spike all of a sudden - the apps are guessing Monday/Tuesday now but very very negative one today x
