Yeah @Ltay2 it’s so annoying. I’m not usually like this but just so over everything today. Poor hubby didn’t know what to do earlier lol, I was on the bed in a sobbing mess and he was stood at the end with a plate of food and my phone, left them there, then slowly backed out of the room haha!

Ltay2 · 26/04/2020 15:52

@Newbie0818 I feel like that some days, when ANYTHING OH does makes me irritated and it's so unjustified 🤣 in terms of crying I feel it's best just to let it out and get it over with, it does usually make you feel better as it isn't then pent up emotion.

Newbie0818 · 26/04/2020 15:35

EVERYTHING is making me cry today, and I feel like I’m about to rage.
Anyone else ever get like this? What do you do to get out of the funk?

RobinRose · 26/04/2020 12:45

@MrsLBear sounds like you had a good evening! @Positivetime I usually wake up around the same time you do to go to the loo, so I do my OPK then 😊 I go to bed quite early (I’m an early riser) so plenty of sleep before I do an opk!

Skyla01 · 26/04/2020 12:33

@MoonW sorry I don't temp myself. I've seen other threads discussing short luteal phase so maybe you'll find some useful info there. I think less than 10days is classed as short, and related to low progesterone levels.

@Positivetime hmm tricky. Why don't you try with normal morning wee this cycle and if you don't have success try something else. You might still get a reading with cb even without holding for as long as it says to.

Positivetime · 26/04/2020 10:59

Thanx guys, yeh I think I’ll just have to stick with 4.30 when I go for a week.

I only started testing CD11 as I didn’t use it properly on CD10.

MrsLBear · 26/04/2020 10:20

@MoonW how long is your lp normally? My temp normally drops below cover line the am that af arrives so can't really comment on that one.

MrsLBear · 26/04/2020 10:18

Sorry @Positivetime don't know where I got 4.30 from. I meant your early morning get up time. Making things up here haha. Also sorry didn't read @MoonW post properly. So agreeing with her 🙂

MrsLBear · 26/04/2020 10:17

@Positivetime why don't you do the test at 4.30 when you wake? I don't know if it'll make a difference but I can't see why it would as it's your longest hold and fmu technically speaking? When did you start testing this cycle?

MoonW · 26/04/2020 09:55

@Positevibes could you take the OPK when you go for your 4:00am wee instead (assuming your not going to bed at midnight - as that should give you a few more hours?). If it’s first morning after longest sleep I guess it depends how long your normally asleep for before the 4am wee as if it’s only 3/4 hours then would be no different taking it at 7:30am after another 3/4 hours I would assume? 🙂

Positivetime · 26/04/2020 09:50

Hi guys sorry to be a nuisance but I am such a novice with the OPK! So it was day CD12 for me today and the whole night I kept needing to pee but I held it in until 5.30am and then had to test with FMU as using CB advance. I had a big fat O so not near my fertile window yet.
But my issue is I have such a weak bladder and I always wake up around 3/4am to go to the loo once. Does that then mess up my chances of a proper fertile window detection as it’s supposed to be taken from the first urine sample after the longest sleep. I’m awake again by 7:30 for work so I really don’t have very long.

And for me anytime I’m awake I need to pee. That’s just something I’ve had for years now.

MoonW · 26/04/2020 09:48

@Mamaofboys3 I’m not sure if I’m being honest, I’ve woken up with a dull pain on my lower right pelvic area but not cramps, but then again AF for me doesn’t tend to show up until the afternoon/evening and that’s when the cramps start.

I’m sorry to hear about Feb and you’re MC and will be keeping everything crossed for you!

Mamaofboys3 · 26/04/2020 09:33

@MoonW thank you I'm keeping everything crossed, its been a hard couple months after having a mc in feb🤞🏽

Oh I've never been able to understand the BBT. How are you feeling? Do you feel like AF is coming?

MoonW · 26/04/2020 09:27

@Mamaofboys3 Ooh please let us know how you get on when you test again in a couple of days 🤞😃

MoonW · 26/04/2020 09:26

This is the first cycle I’ve been taking my BBT, and only started on CD5 when the thermometer arrived which was around halfway through AF. On CD12 I slept through my alarms and didn’t take it until over 2 hours later, so assume that’s why there is that spike there, but otherwise was pleased to see there was an increase after O!

However, this morning it’s dropped just below the cover line and so guessing AF is on her way again, and can’t help but be a bit gutted that it’s likely another shorter cycle (last month was a 23 day long cycle with AF arriving after only a 7 day luteal phase).

Has anyone had something similar and not had AF imminently?

@Newbie0818 @MoonW oh I really hope so, I got my peak on 17th. Yes I'm going to try and test in a couple of days, try and fight the urge tomorrow. I don't want to get too excited but it's hard not to x

Newbie0818 · 26/04/2020 09:21

@Mamaofboys3 that’s exciting! Are you going to test again in a day or so? 🤞🏼

Skyla01 · 26/04/2020 09:20

@popcorndiva that sucks. It's hard when we are do invested- and we definitely need our OH to be on board! Hopefully things are all good for you guys now and you're all set for ovulation. I try and remember than my DP might be feeling pressure too so try and be a bit careful but fortunately so far he's been fine with it all.

MoonW · 26/04/2020 09:19

@Mamaofboys3 wow, I can see a line! That seems pretty clear for 9dpo too!

MrsLBear · 26/04/2020 09:06

Morning everyone
I know @robinrose it's dragging so much. I feel like I go from waiting for o to come to waiting for af and then repeat. Just want this next week to hurry up!!!! Had a bit too much to drink last night and I said I wouldn't but got a bit carried away. Never mind.

I agree @myhappystreak I think the 4.25 looks like a peak too. My peak comes and goes really quickly so once I get a peak it'll start getting a bit lighter again even though I will get ewcm the next day. I'd assume that was your peak! Good luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Mamaofboys3 · 26/04/2020 08:59

@popcorndiva I'm 9DPO at the moment. I wasn't going to test as I knew it was early but curiosity got the better of me

popcorndiva · 26/04/2020 08:56

I can see a line @mamaofboys3

How many dpo are you?

Minster2012 · 26/04/2020 08:49

@Popcorndiva it’s the same for us, we did exactly the same though it was about AF & him just going “what’s the big deal” do you are having another period 🤷‍♀️

Mamaofboys3 · 26/04/2020 08:49

Ladies I've been MIA for the past few days as I've been working.

But I've taken a CB test this morning and please tell me I'm not imagining a line...

@myhappystreak 24th definitely looks like your peak, lines are pretty much as strong as eachother. Had a bit of a tiff with DH late last night as I reminded him we need to dtd every other day now and he muttered something about a headache.

I started crying as I feel like I am doing so much to make sure we are trying our best and all he needs to do is turn up so to speak. After half an hour he came and apologised and gave me a hug. OPK test today is getting stronger so feel like we are going in the right direction
