@Annny27 it's difficult to decide isn't it? Very worrying time.
I haven't had more red blood. But quite a lot of tinged discharge. Feel constantly on the verge of af. Testing every day looking for clues even though after my erpc I tested positive for ages so I know you can't really place any importance on them

Annny27 · 02/04/2020 20:50

@SunnySideUp2020 that's strange isnt it! I ddfinitley still have slightly larger boobs before period but before I was pregnant they used to be really sore

Evening ladies:) cd4 for me so AF is nearly gone. I am in two minds about trying next month - my DH says he doesnt want me near a hospital at the minute if we did get pregnant which I understand but also I am hoping that the virus situation improves over the next month.

@Peanutbuttermummy similar to me! I was 11.5 weeks but baby was only 6/7 weeks 💗

@Ejb86 yeah it could be implantation especially seems waaaaaay too early for AF!

@scrumdiddly123 wow that's such a lot of blood! When I was pregnant and they took 4 viles at the booking appointment that was enough for me haha

@MilsCookie are you going to casually try this month then? I am deffo putting away my thermometer and OPKs haha. Too much stress

@ChampooPapi hope you are doing well 💗 yep it's nice to stay connected

@fizzl that's good that they didnt find anynissues when you had all your blood tests

@triedandtestedteacher has the bleeding stopped now? 🤞

@Whiffle77 yep if we were pregnant I would have been totally staying in the house all the time haha

triedandtestedteacher · 02/04/2020 19:18

It was probably about a tablespoon when I wiped. I thought it was af really early

Ejb86 · 02/04/2020 18:47

Thanks ladies. @triedandtestedteacher how much are we talking? How long did it last?

Feeling pretty fed up with the whole thing atm.

triedandtestedteacher · 02/04/2020 17:34

@Ejb86 I had red blood which I presume was implantation with my mmc. It happened about day 5/6 after ovulation so it could be that

scrumdiddly123 · 02/04/2020 17:20

@Ejb86 with this pregnancy I’ve just lost I bled/spotted from 6dpo til 14dpo (assumed it was a weird AF after MC in Feb). It then stopped and I got a BFP 16dpo x

scrumdiddly123 · 02/04/2020 17:17

@SunnySideUp2020 my DD was due 1st Jan and came 30th December 😊🤞🏻

scrumdiddly123 · 02/04/2020 17:15

Thanks @Peanutbuttermummy, I’m really pleased that they’ve been done and may potentially show a problem that hopefully can be fixed. I was reading about progesterone pessaries being used in ladies with recurrent MC which was really interesting. And if all the tests come back normal it’ll give me a bit more reassurance and hope that this will happen for us eventually! I’m only 30 so not too old 😬
Got to keep positive!
So sorry to hear about your MC, it really is the worst thing x

scrumdiddly123 · 02/04/2020 16:57

@Fizzl I’ll be the same- will definitely ask for a copy of all the results when they come back!
@Whiffle77 I’ve actually felt a bit wobbly all day which is crap- I think it hasn’t helped that bleeding has turned into proper heavy AF flow now too!
Hospital have just rang and my HCG isn’t back yet so got to phone in the morning to chase it up. I’m hopeful that it will have gone down enough and they won’t need to do anything else 🤞🏻

Peanutbuttermummy · 02/04/2020 16:52

@scrumdiddly123, hope you are feeling better after the tests now. The progesterone test is good and will tell you if your levels were good, as low levels can cause MC and can be fixed easily. Your GP will do phone appointments so may be you can have a chat and see if they can refer for scan? I know it’s difficult to understand why this is happening 🙁 especially after having healthy pregnancies...could be age, could be hormones or could be something else.. but we won't know until tests are done...so hope the tests will give you some answers...my MC was in December, I was around 12 weeks but foetus didn’t grow beyond 6 ☹️and had to go for ERPC..
@SunnySideUp2020, Yes of course Michette, I remember 😊 the Jan thread feels like ages ago. So much has happened since then!! So sorry all your plans got cancelled...must be so disappointing...Damn you Covid!! did you still take the work break or did you go back to work? Hopefully you will get your money back! May be the extra time will let it you plan the relocation and travel better and may be you can save some money and holiday for longer when you can 🤞🏼I check Edd on every CD1 🤦‍♀️ so you are not alone! With 1st Jan EDD there is a high chance of a Dec baby.. so good luck!
And I agree by the way with whiffle not speaking the same language can be good sometimes! But good to have family around in this difficult time
@Ejb86 Could you have ovulated earlier and this was implantation bleeding? Don't know what to expect with implantation bleeding though!
@Fizzl You can request your GP to see your results and they can post them to you

Whiffle77 · 02/04/2020 13:53

I'm the same, spending an unhealthy amount of time googling and obsessing!
I have both times. The first time was on and off for two days, this time was 5 days on and off brown cm and started 8 dpo. I got a very early bfp too at 11dpo. From googling this seems like a lot more than usual, hence why I was adamant it was just AF and why I feel quite twitchy about it being a sticky!

Ejb86 · 02/04/2020 13:38

@whiffle77 I've got too much blooming time on my hands. I've never had a cycle shorter than 26 days. You would think that cycles would be settling down by now, I'm 6 months on from losing my twins.

Has anyone ever had implantation bleeding? If so, what was it like? How many dpo? This is just completely blagging my head Confused

Whiffle77 · 02/04/2020 13:20

Gosh that is a lot @scrumdiddly123 no wonder you felt a bit wobbly! Hope you are feeling much better now. Hopefully getting some tests has made you feel a bit better too?
Cake and coffee solves a lot I find @Fizzl!
I have found during ttc that my cycles have been completely different @ejb86 which is just bizarre, and was very frustrating. Hope the next week goes fast for you

Fizzl · 02/04/2020 13:12

@scrumdiddly123 I can totally relate, I've had the 'full works' in the consultants words and the amount of blood they took was insane. Even the phlebotomist was shocked at how many bottles of blood she needed to fill and actually rang the lab to see if they could double up on some to reduce the number she would have to take. It did make me feel a bit funny but cake and coffee at Costa after soon resolved that problem!

I really want to know what my results were, I've had a letter basically saying that other than the problem we already know about with my blood everything else was within normal range but they didn't share the results. So I do feel a little reassured but would love to know what the results were, especially my progesterone because of my shorter lp. I might ring and ask one day.

Ejb86 · 02/04/2020 12:05

I'm sorry @scrumdiddly123 they mean nothing to me.

I'm so confused. 6dpo, not due AF until Mon/Tues and just had a significant amount of blood when wiping. I've never had a 23 day cycle in my life. Guess I need to see how it progresses today. Don't want to get my hopes up that it's an IB.

scrumdiddly123 · 02/04/2020 11:41

Thanks @MilsCookie I can’t actually believe it’s happened again. The only comfort I can take is it was so early so I can tell myself it was never going to be a baby.
@SunnySideUp2020 no more scans scheduled, just got back from the EPU after having my second lot of blood taken to check HCG so will know more when the results come back this afternoon.
They were able to do the blood tests that the GP had ordered as well, so it ended up being 6 bottles of blood! I nearly passed out and had to lie down on a makeshift bed of chairs until I felt better. So that was fun 😆
This is the list of things the gp has requested due to recurrent MC, if it means anything to anyone!

Whiffle77 · 02/04/2020 10:06

Not speaking the same language might be good sometimes though 😂 can imagine it might feel a bit much living with them otherwise! I hope you will get to do the trip in the future, what a nightmare! Not sure anyone will be getting any hols this year...
I am wfh yeah, and then going out for a walk every day. Husband doing the shopping etc. Feel like I am slowly losing my mind, and feeling quite tearful today. This is an emotional situation for us all, and the anxiety about MC on top of that is quite a lot. But I have been ok most days and at least I can hide away with my feelings at home, and not have to be travelling loads with work etc. Hopefully the sun will come back soon as that helped!

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/04/2020 09:26

@Whiffle77 yup so crap. I get on with them but we don’t speak the same language so sometimes weird! But they are very nice so all good... just not what we expected in terms of the holiday of our life 😩
And cannot reschedule trips rn as the situation is so volatile...

How are you doing? Are you self isolating?

Whiffle77 · 02/04/2020 07:41

Oh no @sunnysideup2020 so sorry about your trip! That is so crappy. Do you get on with his parents? Will you try and do the trip again? So much fall out from this virus ☹

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/04/2020 07:36

@scrumdiddly123 i hope you are ok 💓
This is such sad news. Really sorry for your loss x do you have another scan scheduled?

@Annny27 i also noticed changes after mc. AF is lighter and i have almost no pms..

@Peanutbuttermummy hello Annie i remember you, i used to be Michette!
all my trips Abroad have also been cancelled... dp and i took a work break for three months and had trips all over the world planned. Instead we are stuck at his parents because we also were meant to relocate abroad so gave the flat back.. all that sucks. So i feel you!!!

Cycle day 09 and edd is 1st jan if this month successful (I know, how sad that i always calculate when AF arrives 😩)
So no december baby!

@ChampooPapi
how are you doing lovely? Any symptoms yet?? Xxx

Ejb86 · 02/04/2020 06:50

@ChampooPapi thanks lovely. We're onto 6dpo of this cycle now. It is going soooooo slowly!

Whiffle77 · 01/04/2020 21:19

Thanks @Peanutbuttermummy I have my fingers crossed too! Keep saying various mantras to myself during the day to keep myself sane, which sounds ridiculous but it helps!
Maybe that need/force is biological to keep dragging us through all if this...ttc is pretty crappy at the best of times, but after a loss it is just plain awful...if we didnt feel that need then we would probably all give hope. Try and use this weird lockdown time as a way to help chill out @milscookie - I have certainly used it to embrace a lot of down time which is helping me a bit I think. We can all do with a bit of TLC and healing!

MilsCookie · 01/04/2020 20:53

Hey all - I said I would take a break from Mumsnet but I just wanted to check in and say thank you @Annny27 for setting up this thread. I still want to keep in touch with you all and see every single one of you get your BFPs!! It makes me so happy seeing one of our girls get those two pink lines. Noone deserves it more than all of you after what you've been through. I'm really rooting for every single one of us in here and I'm excited to see what happens this month!

@scrumdiddly123 I was absolutely gutted for you when I saw your news. It's just so unfair that this has happened to you again. I'm not sure anything I say will make you feel better but I'm sending you a huge virtual hug and I hope you have lots of support around you. We're all here for you too hugs.

Those of you who got your BFPs last month please stay with us and keep us updated on your journey! I love hearing how you're all doing Smile.

With regard to periods since the MC my first one was absolute agony and really heavy - but in a way I was grateful as like Whiffle said it felt like my body was reset. I've had 3 cycles since that first period and each one has been pretty much the same length which is good as before the MC they ranged between 31-36 days! I still get cramping but maybe it isn't quite as bad as it was before... maybe your theory is right Anny!

Also ridiculously broody as is my DP. I've spoken to a few people who have gone on to have their babies/have older children after a MC and they said they felt same... it's like some sort of biological need/force driving us to get pregnant again. I was always broody and have always known I want to be a mum but this is on some other level now!! Which is why I'm trying to just chill out about this month because my mental health is really suffering now I'm onto cycle 4 :-(

Sorry for the really long post!! I have also been thinking about @StephyRose - I hope she's okay!

Lots of love and baby dust to you all. Will be back soon xxxxxxxxx Star

scrumdiddly123 · 01/04/2020 20:18

Thanks @Peanutbuttermummy, I’m having loads of bloods taken tomorrow along with my HCG recheck so that will be a start. My GP isn’t seeing anyone at the moment unless urgent so not sure I’d even be able
To get a referral.
The fact I’ve had 3 successful pregnancies makes me struggle to believe there’s something wrong but then why is this happening! It’s a horrible place to be.
Good luck to you for this month 🤞🏻🤞🏻 How long has it been since your MC?
