Hi @hoppyhops and welcome - I think it can vary massively- I expected my first AF to be a week late but it ended up only being a couple of days late. Other people have had very different experiences - it's frustrating but it's good once that first one is out the way. My skin was awful too, lots of tiny little white spots - so gross!
@scrumdiddly123 I got a positive opk whilst still having a very faint positive line on pregnancy test - it felt very odd. Sounds positive though that your cycle is resetting itself

Hoppyhops · 19/04/2020 10:10

@Leok83 Thanks for your reply and huge congratulations to you!

I definitely feel ready to try again and, although I haven’t been strict about tracking etc. this month, we’ve still been DTD since a week or so after the MC. I’ve woken up this morning with really bad cramp, feels like AF might be on the way so at least I can start tracking again. My skin, which is normally pretty good, is absolutely awful at the moment too which must be to do with my hormones going crazy- at least I can hide away and not scare people while in lockdown! Grin

Leok83 · 19/04/2020 10:02

@scrumdiddly123 yes you can ovulate with HCG in your system! After MC I was getting HCG done weekly and came back as 12 the day after I ovulated..didn’t fully drop back for 2 weeks after that! Obviously the OPKs can give a false positive with HCG but as they’re low first and then high that’s not likely there. Hard to know if that line was a definite positive or poss a LH fluctuation as it’s the only one up though? Keep doing them for another while just in case but looks like ur body’s at least trying to ovulate😊

Leok83 · 19/04/2020 09:53

@Fizzl thank you!

@Annny27 thank you! I’m still not feeling pregnant at all, feel like until I see the line darken I won’t believe it! Off in search of some FRER today cause the IC’s are a bit useless for line progression (unfortunately learnt that after the MC waiting for the levels to go down)

@SunnySideUp2020 & @Sparkl don’t lose hope yet! My temp dropped too and had no boob pain either so either sign doesn’t mean ur out.
I’ve everything crossed for ye that ul be getting BFPs💕

@Hoppyhops welcome and sorry you find yourself here. From what I’ve seen and experienced AF generally tends to come late after a MC. As your cycles are pretty irregular it might be difficult to know when to expect it but hopefully it won’t be out by too much for you. Also you can start trying sooner if you felt ready and it’s right for you? Mostly they tell you to wait for dating purposes unless you’ve had a medical reason to wait like molar pregnancy?

scrumdiddly123 · 19/04/2020 09:23

Morning, I think I may be about to ovulate? Is that even possible with hcg in your system still? I have no idea but this is what my lines look like. DTD last night just in case 😳
@Sparkl and @SunnySideUp2020 will keep my fingers crossed for you, you never know!

Whiffle77 · 19/04/2020 09:10

Sorry @sparkl and @SunnySideUp2020 - you never know until AF actually comes though, will still be keeping my fingers crossed. I know what you mean about feeling like a different person though, this year has changed me in ways I just never thought possible
I've not tried tried Angus cactus.

Hoppyhops · 19/04/2020 09:08

Hi all, just wondering if I can join you as you seem like such a lovely group. I’ve read back over your thread and it’s heartening to see some positive results so congratulations!
I had an early MC in March (on Mother’s Day, shitilly enough) but it was a bit of a weird one as I’d only found out the week before that I was pregnant, after trying since September, so it was very early but still not a nice thing to go through. According to my dates, I would have been due in early November.
At the EPU, I wasn’t given a lot of guidance about when to start trying again, when to expect AF etc., My cycles had been all over the place before- one was 46 days long! So I’m just not sure when this AF is going to turn up so I can start trying properly again. I’ve got OPKs and started temping the month I conceived but I haven’t bothered yet until the first cycle is done. Just wondered how long it was for others until you had your first period after the MC? Just to give me an idea on what to ‘expect’.

Sparkl · 19/04/2020 08:44

Forgot to tag you @SunnySideUp2020 x

Sparkl · 19/04/2020 08:43

@Annny27 June is both when we started trying and due date. Can’t believe it’s nearly come around. I feel like such a different person now.
Just have to keep trying and hope that we get there! 💕

Sparkl · 19/04/2020 08:41

Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. I can’t remember if you do bbt?
How are you feeling about it?

That would have been a perfect birthday present 😢

SunnySideUp2020 · 19/04/2020 08:20

Never tried agnus cactus 🌵

SunnySideUp2020 · 19/04/2020 08:19

@sparkl i think i am also out this month. This morning boobs are completely deflated so i know my hormones are all on the way down which for me is sign AF is coming (as opposed to you 😄)

DP actually asked if we could test this morning but i was the wise one and said we shouldnt waste a test on this cycle.

It’s my birthday in two weeks and i really wanted a positive test as a present but guess it’s not happening 😫

Sparkl · 19/04/2020 08:14

Well my temps are on the way down and sore boobs have started so I don’t think it will be my month.
@SunnySideUp2020 cycle buddy I hope you have better luck!

Back looking up supplements. Has anyone tried Agnus castus?

Annny27 · 18/04/2020 22:34

Ah @Leok83 biggest congratulations! Really lovely news.

Hi @Bubblybon56 sorry you're here with us but it's a lovely group and you'll get loads of support. I didn't start ttc until 3 months after but I had surgery and didn't feel ready so this was my personal choice. Lots of ladies started ttc'ing straight away. The only reason they advise to wait one month is for dating purposes so if you feel ready you can start again.

Bubblybon56 · 18/04/2020 17:54

Hi, hope no one minds me jumping on the post. As reading through people’s situations makes me feel some comfort of my current situation. On the 9th April, I was 9 weeks pregnant and miscarried. But pretty sure growing must have stopped a few weeks prior as had light bleeding/Spotting on and off 😖 everything lasted all of 4 days max. Now just have light brown spotting. Has anyone ttc before their next period? Still getting very strong positives, like not fading at all 😞 has anyone ttc before the positive goes? Many thanks!

MilsCookie · 18/04/2020 16:27

@leok83 thank you for letting me know! I might have to tell my DP to start some vitamins... eeeek I wish I could be a fly on the wall when you tell your DP! Such an exciting time!

Leok83 · 18/04/2020 16:18

Thank you guys!!!

@ChampooPapi feeing all of the above alright!! I want to tell him face to face and he’s not home from work for at least another 4 hours..it’s completely dragging by!! I told him yesterday we were out this month too so I imagine he’ll be as shocked as me!

ChampooPapi · 18/04/2020 16:12

TerribleImagination · 18/04/2020 16:07

Huge congrats @Leok83 - amazing news! ❤️

Sparkl · 18/04/2020 15:43

A Christmas baby will be so lovely!
I’m convinced no symptoms is a good thing!

Leok83 · 18/04/2020 15:42

@MilsCookie thank you!! This cycle DH took the proceive max vitamins. We DTD the 3 days before ov and DH couldn’t finish the day of ovulation.had worn the poor man out 🙈! Apart from that nothing much else different, I ran out of vitamins just at ovulation so just been on folic acid and vit d since.

Thank you all so much ladies for all the congrats. It means so much to be able to share this good news with you and to have such lovely replies 🥰xx!

Leok83 · 18/04/2020 15:33

@Ejb86 yes I feel like I’ve tempted fate but I’ve now looked at dates! It’s 28th Dec based on ovulation or 26th based on first day of LMP. So hopefully I’ll make it as far as having an xmas baby!

MilsCookie · 18/04/2020 15:27
