Today feeling bit better than yesterdAy and already more relaxed knowing i will let go of the ttc obsession next month!

Absolutely 100% sure not pregnant (obviously) as BFN and just normal pre AF stuff.

Thanks @MilsCookie I like your style, will be doing a few of those I think. Although my hand tends to be hovering over the chocolate at all times anyway.

No sign of AF yet. I’m 12dpo and bbt still above cover line. Was going to test this morning but then read this on FF yesterday:

‘You can take an HPT when you are past your usual luteal phase length (the time between ovulation and when you get your period) but if your usual luteal phase length is shorter than 13 days, then you should probably consider waiting a day or two longer.’

So now I’m waiting until tomorrow in case my cycles have miraculously returned to pre-MC length.

@leok83 I use FF too. I find it very good, some of the kind of faux cheery tracking apps are a bit patronising. Ff seems to be cold hard stats.
How are you today? Have you done any more tests?

@Ejb86 the clear blue opks says peak means OV 24-48 later, just checked back through my FF charts and they suggest OV on the day I got a peak. Probably depends on which opks you’re using.

@SunnySideUp2020 I know this happens for some people, but I've recently had 7 day lps, then the last one was 5! I guess I'll just keep trying and hope I have more luck.

@Ejb86 i found that even if ovulation is late then my overall cycle is longer- so lp doesn’t shorten...
Maybe it will be the same for you?
And yesh the dpo count is really an approximation. My app counts ovulation the day the opk drops back down from peak.

Fingers crossed for @MilsCookie and @Annny27 though! And all the other ladies testing soon-ish

I am 13 dpo- AF due Friday and never late so looking forward to a new cycle.

Will drop opk and vits this month and just try to dtd when we want.
I need a break of this.
We really gave everything this month and it’s so so disappointing when it just doesn’t work...
i just would like to be normal for a month and not obsess. At least that’s the idea 🙂

@SunnySideUp2020 sorry it’s a BFN😞 And @Sparklsorry your feeling negative about it too. Definitely have something prepared to spoil yourselves if AF does arrive!

@Ejb86 When the temp rise is gives better indication of when you ovulate than the opks but I definitely find putting the details into fertility friends app gives a way more accurate time of ovulation than the femometer app. Also I tend to notice ovulation pains now since I’ve been more I. Tune with it so will go 1 day after that.

@MrsLBear I'm cd21. Only had a 23 dayer last cycle and only ovulated on cd18. My lp has been varying, but has averaged 7 days since I started trying in January. Theres just no predicting it which is driving me insane!

@milscookie I like your af "reward" well I see that as a reward a nice bath and g&t with a takeaway. Softens the blow somewhat - if that's possible. I will be giving this a go this month.

Hope it's ok if I join think I was on the first thread but then dropped off. I sometimes find it all a bit much and almost get bored of my own voice when it comes to TTC and all the ups and downs.

@ejb86 I got my positive OPK on Monday too! And I think I normally ovulate the next day. All signs like ewcm and bloating seems to suggest that. I temp too and my temp was up this morning but then I was so hot when I woke up and I never know if that can affect it. What cd are you now? I actually got the earliest peak I've ever had at cd14. Normally no earlier than 17 and average around 21 so I'm expecting my first ever known 28 day cycle. Which alone feels like a goal as last month was 41 days 🤨 how long is your lp normally? We are cycle buddies!

@MilsCookie I don't take anything other than supermarket pregnancy vits and the high dose folic acid that I was prescribed after I lost the girls. I'm a bit reluctant to take too many supplements.

My body obviously went through a lot growing 2 babies for 4 months and then them dying due to twin complications. I had medical management and gave birth to them. The hospital expected me to bleed after taking the first medication prior to going in, but I didn't. My body didn't want to let them go. I then had a lot of bleeding afterwards and they said it was because my body hadn't released any prior to the birth.

I think I kind of have faith that my body will right itself, but I'm impatient too. I'm a bit of a worrier when it comes to taking things, worry that I'll make things worse. I have said that I'll go and see the GP when all this CV stuff is over if I haven't yet been successful.

@Ejb86 I count it from 2 days after my peak OPK usually as I assume I ovulate the day after the peak. But it's all a bit of a guess because I don't temp! Hopefully that means your cycle will be longer this month! Do you take any supplements to try and regulate your hormones? I've heard vitamin b6 and Angus castus are good for that? I took b6 straight after my mc and it could have been a coincidence but my cycles have gone back to normal. Xx

When do you all count your DPO from? I got my peak OPK on Monday, so femometer says I ovulated yesterday and today CD21 is 1dpo. Premom says the same. If I'm lucky enough to have a 28 day cycle this month, I've only got 7 days until I'm due AF. I hate my stupid cycles!

Ohhhh @Leok83 I'm so sorry but keeping everything crossed AF stays away. This TTC malarkey is so bloody cruel at times.

@SunnySideUp2020 @Sparkl hope you're both okay... fingers crossed for you both.

Maybe try to have a few nice things planned for if AF shows up.... I usually have a long hot bubble bath, a big G&T, loads of chocolate and occasionally a takeaway or something I love to eat. I tend to find doing these things help with the pain of yet another cycle with no BFP. It will happen for us all... it's happened before and it will happen again. It's just the pain and heartache we have to go through every month but we WILL get there. Lots of love and hugs to you all xxxxx

CD9 here so just DTD & trying the OPKs learning. Tested out the preseed last night too. It wasn’t as much of a mood killer as we thought...in fact we probably should have realised the windows were open 😬🤣

I’ve just had a phone consultation with the GP. She was lovely and said she can’t advise me on anything specific ie progesterone pessaries or aspirin but she will send the referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic even though they aren’t offering appointments at the moment. But at least they’ll have it ready for when things go back to normal! She’s also added a note to ask if they can offer any advice in the meantime.
So that’s something!

Thanks @Annny27 that’s good to know! We DTD once the day before my peak and then I realised I really don’t want to mess these blood results up and have another pregnancy where we’re unsure of dates. So hopefully AF will arrive in a couple of weeks and I can really throw myself into the next cycle! How are you doing?

@SunnySideUp2020 and sorry you had a bfn. My temp has dropped even lower and have usual pre Af headache so AF will be today or tomorrow. On the bright side it means I’ll have had a longer LP than the very short one last time. But I’m still pissed off.

@MilsCookie I hear you. I feel like the six/twelve month ttc thing is because doctors think people don’t get timing right. We’ve been bang on ovulation every month for six months and nothing, why is it not happening??!! 😫
And can’t even investigate with this Covid situation
So sick of this
