What age were you and how did TTC take for you?

Not TTC yet, currently finishing my strip of my pill then trying Natural Cycles before TTC later this year.

I’m quite curious, how old were you with each baby and how long did it take TTC?

I’ve explained my situation in my last post, I’m 22 (engaged, house with my fiancé, both financially stable and in stable jobs - before anyone states we should be married! Which we’re aiming to do as soon as things start getting back to normal) I’m quite worried we’ll have problems TTC or won’t be able to so I don’t know why but I want to hear how long it took for everyone, what age you decided to etc!

Feel free to not add certain details if you don’t feel comfortable Smile

18 conceived first go, 39 conceived second go, 42 conceived after 5 months (miscarried), 43 conceived after 4 months

35 with first, 2 months, of trying. 37 with second, one month. 38 with third, one month. Had a miscarriage just before first baby.

You've got great chances of conceiving quickly at your age!

Strongly advise doing so by the moment tho.

DC1 I was 28 and it happened first time. DC2 I was 31 and it took 8 months.

I was 30 ish when started TTC. Finally gave birth at 42. I will spare you the details of all that took place in between! 22 is plenty young enough, OP, unless there's a specific medical issue that you're aware of, you shouldn't need to worry.

How do you know your job is stable?

I got pregnant at 22 when I had a good job. Not long after I returned to work after mat leave, I was made redundant

I was 28 & it took 11 months. It was much quicker with DC2 & DC3.

29, happened first go (we only dtd once and dh went away on business the next day!) Had been tracking everything.

@Toohardtofindaproperusername we’re not TTC until September/October, obviously if we are in the same position as we are now we won’t be, however I’m quite hopeful that by then things will be improving. So no I’m not looking to add strain to the NHS! We obviously won’t start trying until things seem to be improving

I'm 28, it took 3 years, 3 MC's and a laparoscopy for endometriosis. I'm 18 weeks now.

You could conceive today or in years. If j were you o wouldn't ctry and conceive in the middle of this pandemic.. you are very young and have many years ahead of you. Wait uh until the hospitals and nhs staff are back on their feet.
