Do these faint lines on frer mean I'm pregnant?

It would be totally unplanned and I never saw this coming!

@shannonlou97 this is an old thread from last year. I'd recommend starting a new one. You can't add photos for 48 hours after first making an account. After that you add photos using the paperclip underneath the text box when you're making a new post.

Can someone help me, I’m 4 days late and taken these tests which I feel are positive but I don’t know if it’s my mind playing tricks.
How do I add photos?

Lilipa · 04/11/2020 10:04

Oh no, I'm so new to this didn't realize I was not creating my own post. Apologies! How do I do this from scratch then? I ha clicked on the bottom where it says "add post"

BuffaloCauliflower · 04/11/2020 09:58

@Lilipa you need to make your own thread not post on someone else’s, but yes they look positive

I am 12 DPO and I did a pregnancy test this morning. The attached picture is taken about a minute after I took the test. It has a very faint line on this First Response early pregnancy test but I'm not sure if that means I'm pregnant? I felt implantation two days ago (felt exactly the same symptoms as with my DD during implantation , ie needle pain on lower abdomen) but I'm worried that this test is negative since the line is too fainted? I have had 2 miscarriages after my DD was born so I'm really wanting this second baby! Feels weird that I can't even be happy since this faint line is not making it clear to me.

Definitely positive, congratulations! I just got my BFP about an hour ago, I couldn’t believe my eyes either!
I don’t think you are silly at all for wanting to test again, I’ll be doing the same thing until it fully sinks in!

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 21:19

Thank you. I'm just trying to get my head around it. Haven't told OH yet

Congratulations. Even though it may not seem like a good time, it will give you something to look forward to amongst the darkness.

bluebell94 · 22/03/2020 16:31

That's what my first FRER test looked like, they got darker and darker from then. You could try a clear blue digital but I would wait a few days as they aren't as sensitive as these tests so could give false negative. Congratulations, even though it was a surprise! Hope you're ok with it x

Whatthecrepe · 22/03/2020 15:58

Yes congratulations!!

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 15:57

Ok thanks everyone!

No need to confirm with a digital, these are more sensitive than a CB so would be a bit backwards

CrazyToast · 22/03/2020 15:45

The test instructions say that two lines are a postive result, no matter how faint the second line is.

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 15:21

I don't know because they are faint lines, so wondering if I should just do a digital to double confirm.

Elouera · 22/03/2020 15:18

Why do you need another test???
You already have 2 positive ones in front of you [insert head slap]

Crunchymum · 22/03/2020 15:16

You use the withdrawal method and this was a surprise? Shock

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 15:08

Yeah I know, you both are right.

Once it's sunk in I'm sure we will get excited about it. I know my daughters would love a sibling. So do I need to buy another test to confirm or are those 2 enough to go on?

ambereeree · 22/03/2020 15:07

Positive!

Elouera · 22/03/2020 15:06

Congrats- but pull out isn't a 'method' at all when you know how many babies are born that way!!!

grudieabbey · 22/03/2020 15:05

“I wasn't planning on having another right now, but we've been using the pull out method which clearly isn't very effective!”

Hmm

No. It isn’t. Congrats on your pregnancy.

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 15:04

I'm in shock. Do you think I should buy a clear blue digital to confirm? @justabitworried - I haven't told my husband yet, not sure when I will. And with everything going on in the world with the coronavirus the last place I want to be is going to the gp or midwives.

OP posts:
Justabitworried · 22/03/2020 14:59

Definitely positive. My first tests were fainter than this. How are you feeling?

ludothedog · 22/03/2020 14:52

Yip yer up the duff. Congratulatuons!

JoyfulExpat · 22/03/2020 14:49

Oh gosh.

Do you think I should confirm with a clear blue digital? Or is there no need to test again?

I wasn't planning on having another right now, but we've been using the pull out method which clearly isn't very effective!
