@Curious012 hey 😊 how are you today? I had a few days a couple of days ago with a high temperature cause I was getting a cold so it has thrown the chart off a bit cause there is one high reading and a missed one, I got my peak this morning so hopefully will ovulate tomorrow or Monday. Been dtd every other day since Monday and will continue till next week to make sure so hopefully I will start to see my temperature rise soon so I know I definitely ovulated. Yea I know what you mean, I can't get on with the strips that's why I use the Clearblue kit as it has clear results so I would definitely say yes to getting them instead. Maybe use the cheap ones to begin with and then once you think you may be close then start using bathe Clearblue kit to confirm it as it can get very expensive x

Curious012 · 11/04/2020 08:34

Morning @laurah92 How are you finding the temperature logging?
I can't seem to get to grips with these ovulation sticks I've had a fairly strong line for the last 4 days but cant work out when I'm ovulating - should be today according to my tracker apps. Might have to go over to the clearblue next month to get a better indication x

@Curious012 atm I'm not sure as I have only just started doing it this cycle, I've had a bit of a high temperature the last few days as I haven't been very well so that's knocked it off a bit. I'm hoping I will start to see a pattern with it. Hopefully this will be our month 🤞🤞 x

Curious012 · 08/04/2020 17:19

@laurah92 oh that's good then if it's showing your peak ovulation time fingers crossed for April being your month!
I'm okay going a bit stir crazy with everything going on. I haven't been taking my temperature but I should probably start doing that too. There is so much to think about with all this TTC business. Does your temperature match up with what the ovulation tracking tells you? X

OP posts:
laurah92 · 08/04/2020 11:14

@Curious012 no worries, how are you? Yea I'm ok thank you, I'm on cd 10 too, did ovulation test yesterday and I'm going into my peak now, should hopefully ovulate today or tomorrow. I've started tracking my basal temperature as well, do you track your temperature? X

Curious012 · 08/04/2020 08:12

@laurah92 so sorry I didn't respond before I totally forgot about this thread! Hope you're OK this month have you been using the clearblue ovulation kit? X

Hi everyone back into the cycle CD10 here just did an ovulation test showing as strong line so looks like tomorrow is ovulation day (still getting the hang of these sticks) hope everyone is alright those who are still waiting for BFP Smile
Testing day will be 24th for me this month

@Curious012 yea I know it really isn't. Haha that's ok no problem SmileI'm taking folic acid. I know, I really hope things start to go back to normal soon, I feel like I'm grounded as a adult lol and going shopping is a whole different level of stressful atm. Yea it's not nice being a carer atm, always worrying, always worrying if I'm going to catch it or if I'm going to give it to them. Always washing my hands lol. I can see it going on a lot longer than 3 weeks tho 😞 tell me about it our houses are going to be spotless by the time this is over haha. We brought our house about 6/7 months ago now so we are just using this time to do some work on the house as it's so difficult when we are both at work so that should pass some of the time. Is this your first time ttc? X

Curious012 · 30/03/2020 18:18

@laurah92 i know! Haha I just thought it would happen but obviously it's not as easy as they make out. Hopefully the clearblue will give you a better indication when you are ovulating 🤞🏻Just got normal multi vitamins but you've reminded me to get some online thank you Smile what are you taking?
That's good we're OK as both working from home you must be so stressed as a carer, its a crazy situation. It's so hard not seeing family and friends and all normality has gone out of the window! We're kind of the same just trying to keep busy but there is only so many times i can rearrange my wardrobe or find something to tidy x

laurah92 · 30/03/2020 16:56

@Curious012 I know, they made it sound so easy to fall pregnant when we was at school and the dr always used to say, don't miss a pill or you could fall pregnant, well it's definitely not easy lol. Are you taking any vitamins? Well last month I had a 24 cycle and this month I had a 32 cycle so very all over the place atm so definitely need ovulation kits etc to pin point ovulation.
I'm still working as I'm a carer so it hasn't effected me money wise so far, just have to be very careful while at work, can't see family or friends is very hard And getting bored at home when not working as can't really go out do me and my partner are using the time to work on our house, what about you? X

Curious012 · 30/03/2020 16:42

@laurah92 This was technically my first but to be honest I've been monitoring my cycles on the app and doing pregnancy tests for the last 4 months or so, I just thought I would fall as soon as I came off the pill (I'm the same as you taken religiously for years) but hasn't happened yet!
think the apps helped me to figure out my cycles I came off the pill back in November
I'm hoping the ovulation sticks tell me my app is wrong for ovulation dates and the sticks can give me a clear ovulation day.
How are you feeling with the whole CV drama going on and TTC? X

OP posts:
laurah92 · 30/03/2020 16:08

I'm now going onto my third cycle of ttc, what about you? I only started using ovulation kits with the cycle just gone tho. As I was on the pill for so long and only come off at the beginning of January I'm still learning my cycles so really need to pinpoint ovulation so thought this cycle I would use both methods to see if I can pinpoint it better. 🤞this is our month c

Curious012 · 30/03/2020 16:00

@laurah92 ah so annoying! In it for another month, onwards and upwards!
Let us know how you get on with the thermometer as well I wanted to get one but I thought I might get on better with the sticks, we shall see.. Smile
What cycle is this for you?
Fingers crossed April is the month for us! X

I was 1 day late but af showed her ugly face this morning Angry yeasterday I had a feeling I was out tho as as my symptoms started to disappear and started to get cramping that got stronger and stronger so on to the next month through the night. I ordered the Clearblue advanced ovulation kit and a basal thermometer today as soon as af showed up to make myself feel better and prepare for this month Smile hopefully we will have some luck this month Smile🤞 x

Curious012 · 30/03/2020 14:34

AF finally came I knew it! So definately out this month, at least I can start tracking again. What do all of you use to track ovulation? I've been using flo and clue together as my cycles are pretty regular and it comes up with about a day apart but I've just ordered ovulation sticks to see how I get on with those.
Hope everyone is OK today sending lots of luck everyone's way!

Hey, so I gave in and tested today - day before my app is telling me I’m due on... BFN! 😖 sort of expected it because I’m in a bit of a grump today anyway.

@laurah92 keep positive! It’s not over until AF arrives, as they say 👍🏼 Xx

laurah92 · 29/03/2020 10:02

Hi everyone Smile
May I join? I'm about 12-13dpo, I'm due on from today till Tuesday, been testing from a few days ago till today but all negative, do you think I'm testing to early or do you think I'm out this month? I have really really sore, heavy and swollen boobs, really bloated and constipated and gassy, headaches, light cramping and twinges down below, feeling dizzy and lightheaded, i have creamy lotion like discharge, sometimes watery, I feel really wet down below like I have come on but I haven't ( sorry tmi ), I keep feeling like I'm coming on but nothing, keep feeling sick, I have gone off my food a bit but not sure if it's cause I'm really constipated and uncomfortable. How is everyone else? X

Curious012 · 29/03/2020 09:37

@mama8585 hopefully all goes well for this time as well. I know what you mean though I've never known what my body should b we doing or paid so much attention before!!
@NicoleR14 I should be 13 DPO today, still nothing but a tiny bit spotting. going to have to test at some point today otherwise I'm going to go nuts. I'm just trying to be patient!
Hopefully you're not out yet but if you are having a longer cycle you almost just want AF to come so you can start tracking again.

OP posts:
NicoleR14 · 29/03/2020 08:33

@curious012 how many dpo are you? Implantation can last until 12dpo I think! No af for me yet the app is telling me I'm 2 days late but I did have a 34 day cycle when my af finally returned so I could just be having a longer cycle than usual I have been doing the one step ic but they are all negative I'd expect them to have lines by now if I was pg!

mama8585 · 29/03/2020 08:04

@Curious012 good morning Smile I did fall easily with my other children, I was younger tho so I'm sure that helped lol. Ive never tracked my cycles with the other children or used any ovulation tests etc so this time I feel more under pressure for some reason lol x

Curious012 · 29/03/2020 07:38

Morning all - no AF but went the toilet last night and there was the teeniest bit of blood when I wiped (TMI!) - expected AF but still nothing!! Surely it's too late for implantation bleeding?.. Still haven't taken a test just because I'm convinced AF is still coming and I can't be bothered to waste a good one (no cheapies in!) hope everyone's alright today.

@NicoleR14 how are you today, any sign of AF?

@emiliet123 so sorry to hear about your loss Flowers got my fingers crossed for you! I honestly feel exactly the same as normal and I've broken out so all very typical of normal PMS. Just sure this isn't the month for me!

@MAMA8585 ah amazing! Hope all goes well for you, did you fall easily with your older children x

OP posts:
mama8585 · 28/03/2020 14:15

@Curious012 no my 5th! My eldest is 15 and my youngest is 8, they are all my ex husband's so this will be my first (& last lol) with my partner xx

emiliet123 · 28/03/2020 11:00

Haha I know I'm going to regret it, there isn't a chance he'll give in to my pestering! If there's NO sign on Monday then I'll ask him to get out one of the cheapies, and if no sign by next Friday, we'll crack open a Clearblue!

Last time I was pregnant (sadly, we lost her at 24 weeks), I had NO PMS symptoms like I usually do, no sore boobs, no massive mood swings, just a little bit of cramping - this month I'm kinda the same so I'm feeling really hopeful! (But also, it's the first full month of trying since we lost her so I'm also terrified)

Have you been doing any symptom spotting?

NicoleR14 · 28/03/2020 10:23

I have 32 day cycles I only had 1 34 day cycle and that was after my cp first month of ttc! Other than that it's usually between day 30 and 32 I don't feel crampy and my boobs is still sore usually when af is ready to come my boob pain dies down a bit!

Curious012 · 28/03/2020 10:22

@emiliet123 hi!
Good shout on making your other half hide the tests I've been quite good this time, with everything else going on I've managed to stay away. Just waiting patiently for AF to turn up if no sign by tomorrow I'll definately test first thing but I think I'll be out by then.
Got my fingers crossed for you will you test on Mon then? X

OP posts:
emiliet123 · 28/03/2020 10:00

Hi, I'm due AF on 30th, although I had (what I think was) OV bleeding for the first time ever this month, which makes me believe I should be due on today!
I've asked husband to hide the tests from me until next week so I don't give in to early testing! Not long to wait now, although as I'm sure you all know, the days feel LOOOOONG.

Any sign for you, OP? Keeping my fingers crossed for everybody trying this month x
