AF due today, still BFN. Anyone else?

Hi ladies,
AF was due today, and still testing BFN. I used a First Detection Early Response for my SMU. Right now I should be around 13-14 DPO. Am I out for this cycle? My cervix is still high, and soft. My CM has changed over the two days, it went from white "lotiony" consistency to now more watery. Is this something anyone else experienced before getting BFP?
I have had a few other symptoms of early pregnancy: I am feeling a twinge in my lower right pelvic side, I am a bit dizzy, intense thirst, and my body temperature is about a degree higher than normal. Maybe I am symptom spotting, but hopefully someone else had something similar.
Thanks

I just downloaded the ovia app and it has calculated my fertile window as much later than my natural cycles had (I hadn't been recording temp just using it as a rough guide). Ovia predicted my fertile window went up to the 11th march so could only be DPO 11 today. So confusing!! I think I'll hold off for testing for a few days and save the FRER. If that's negative on wednesday I'll have to assume I'm out!

This ovia app looks really good though, do any of you use it?? Xx

Juno231 · 23/03/2020 08:35

@it01234 ha I've been reading the same!

BFN for me today as well 🤷‍♀️

lt01234 · 23/03/2020 08:23

Another BFN for me too, it’s so hard not to test but I’m going to try and hold off until the end of the week now like the GP advised. Reading stories of people who didn’t see a positive until they were weeks late is giving me hope! 🤞🏻Hope you’re ok Masie24 🌸

Maise24 · 23/03/2020 07:58

Argh BFN with one of those boots strip tests this morning.... It feels like I will never see a BFP! I should have just waited for the FRER. Or as I'm coming to realise the most likely outcome now is that AF is just late and will be with me any day now. Honestly hate this Sad

Juno231 · 22/03/2020 22:20

Bought a FRER today and it was snowy white! It was an afternoon wee though and AF still isn't here so I'll try another cheapie with FMU tomorrow before I waste my last FRER!

Purplezinger · 22/03/2020 21:26

Oh wow so happy a few of you were able to get BFP! yayy! I know its going to be nerve wrecking during these trying times, but I am very happy for you guys.

@Maise24 I caved and took a clear blue this AM, I have no more FRER. Stark negative. :(
Last night I was getting night sweats, and had horrible insomnia. Maybe the stress of everything is what is keeping my AF away. I am going to save my last test for next Friday. I know it's a long ways away, but it is my last one and kind of my hail Mary.

Ahhh congratulations @Pinkhan135 Smile wishing you a happy 9 months and hope the chat with work goes ok! I feel lucky I don't have to say anything yet but I'm still feeling like I should with everything that is going on Confused weird time, isn't it!

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 14:42

@Juno231 sorry I've just seen your message on here! How are you getting on? Any news? It's so difficult being in limbo isnt it! Xx

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 14:41

@pinkhan135 yes definitely speak to them asap, with those conditions alone you are categorised as high risk arent you? They may be able to reassign you to other less front line teams that will be less risk for you. I'm sure there is a ton of work behind the scenes that they need support with. Good luck and most importantly put your health first and try not to stress too much! Xx

Pinkhan135 · 22/03/2020 14:37

Thank you! Must say I’m nervous what with covid 19! And I’m front line NHS with type 1 diabetes and asthma so will speak to occupational health and my Manager tomorrow x

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 14:31

How exciting @pinkhan135 that is wonderful news! Congratulations Flowers have a happy and healthy 9 months! Xxx

Pinkhan135 · 22/03/2020 14:16

Hello ladies.
Just thought I’d update you. Took three tests today all at the same time and all positive. I’m in shock. Would explain my pain and feeling faint. Just worrying as I’ve been taking ibuprofen - will stop now. Xxx

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 11:11

That is a very good idea! I get almost too scared to test, I've looked at many negative FRER's in the past 10 months Sad but I'll give it a go! Your BFP has given me hope! Xx

peachypetite · 22/03/2020 11:01

@maise thanks! Have you looked on amazon prime for a frer?

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 10:52

@Purplezinger how are you getting on? When did you last test? Xx

Maise24 · 22/03/2020 10:50

@peachypetite oh my god congratulations!! I'm so pleased for you, your news bought a smile to my face! I havent tested again since friday, mostly because I cant go to the shop and havent got a FRER!

How is everyone else getting on? I'm CD 34 now, sharp pains yesterday and started getting very mild low abdo cramps last night which made me think af was on the way but no sign this morning! Just tons of white creamy CM. Still felt nauseous and slept for 10 hours last night! My boobs felt really full and heavy last night but not sure whether it was just in my head as its all I've been thinking about Confused xx

MrsPattenson · 22/03/2020 09:08

AF due today but no sign of it. Have been taking Wondfo HPTs every morning since 10 dpo and saw a faint line on most of them (didn't have a line one day). Did FRER today though and negative, but had my darkest Wondfo yet.

Has anybody used these tests and had consistent faint positives? Was it false or were you pg? In absolute agony over this!

Here is todays wondfo...

AF due today, still BFN. Anyone else?
peachypetite · 22/03/2020 08:55

Thank you. Tbh I would have put Ttc on hold if my period came. But it’s done now so just got to make the best of it. I am happy though :)

RJ44 · 22/03/2020 08:53

Congratulations @peachypetite 😊 hope it was the news you wanted!!
@Juno231 those symptoms sound promising!!! Fingers crossed!

lt01234 · 22/03/2020 08:49

Congratulations peachypetite! That is such lovely news! 🌸
Another BFN for me again this morning 🤦🏻‍♀️

peachypetite · 22/03/2020 07:18

@juno I got a negative on Thursday with a crappy boots one whereas my frer this morning had a strong line - absolutely no doubting it was there. I’m 4-6 days over now. Realised my new phone’s flo app was calculating my period based on the average cycle but mine are very short.

Juno231 · 22/03/2020 07:16

Hi girls - mind if I join you? AF was due yesterday and I've had plenty of watery/creamy CM so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Cheapies are still saying BFN but if AF hasn't showed tomorrow I'll splurge on a FRER.

That said - congratulations @peachypetite !! Hope it sticks! Hope many days over are you in the end?

peachypetite · 22/03/2020 06:38

I’m pregnant. Got a positive on a frer this morning.

Purplezinger · 22/03/2020 04:24

@peachypetite AF was due last Tuesday, 17th. So I am four days late now.
@Solomon1212 and @Maise24 lots of baby dust to you, and keep us updated on your results :)
@lt01234 I am having same symptoms, and was also advised to wait another week. I am wanting to avoid dr. offices with the current climate. So hopefully it doesn't have to come to blood work.

lt01234 · 21/03/2020 20:06

Hi everyone,

I hope you don’t mind me joining, I feel I’m in the same boat...

We have been ttc for around 6 months now. I came off the pill last May and since my cycles have been all over the place but they had finally started to settle into around 35/36 days long. However this cycle I am on day 50 already and no sign of my period turning up!

I was due my period last week although I can’t be sure of the day but I am at least a week late already if not more, It could be anything between 7-10 days late. I have had back aches, so much CM, bloating and tiredness but still getting BFNs on a range of different brand tests! I thought I had a faint positive on a first response on Monday, but I have read so many reviews about people getting false positives on them lately that now I’m doubting I did and perhaps it was just a faulty test and have had several negatives since Monday! I saw my GP this week who has advised me to wait another week, test again and if still no period or positive to go back for a blood test. The waiting is so hard and I have no idea what is going on 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
