Hi everyone,

It's my first TWW and I think I'm just driving myself a bit crazy at the moment! My lovely grandma passed away on Friday after a short battle with an aggresive cancer and we thought we would have had more time with her...

Anyway, I am around 8dpo today, and thought I would take a HPT (thinking I could use some good news this month). It is not FMU (it is SMU) so I wasn't expecting anything this early but I got a really faint line within the 5 minutes.

It is crazy faint but I can see something there... took an FRER though from same sample and it was neg.

Question is.. can you see this or am I just too hopeful? Could it just be an evap?

I can see the shadow in both your tests.
Definitely retest and see if you get a progression.

So couldnt help it and tested again... got another faint line on wondfo. Darker than my first pic on here but lighter than 2nd. Can't get a good pic of it...but it is there (and came up in the 3 mins). Still got cramping but feel like I am just going crazy.

Same here. Did a boots early detection and nothing and nothing on my wondfo. Nipples are feckin killing me and crippled with heart burn. Temps are still up though. Gonna see how temps are tomorrow and it still up I'll test again if not I'll hold put another two days

So did an FRER with FMU and nothing...Did another cheapie and even fainter line than yesterday.

still getting cramps like AF but usually get that with the bleeding and haven't had any bleeding at all yet.

Still early (9dpo) so I will have to wait and see if AF comes...think I may be out though!

Currently have really bad cramps in my lower abdomen now. Don't want to get my hopes up after such a faint HPT as this could just be AF...

Also the lines came up straight away , well within the five minutes. I googled bad batches and didnt seem to be any mention the serial numbers I have

Sorry meant I had come off clomid and fertility clinic wanted it to clear out of my system before I went to them

@mrspattenson I have no idea how many dpo I was at the time as I was going to start going to a fertility clinic and they wanted me to go a cycle or two without it to clear it out of my system. I had mad spotting on and off and I just presumed it was my body writing itself. Because I have random ling cycle I said I'd do random test from time to time so did it and got the faint lines. I had no ovulation signs or anything . I had a surge a week and half before but my opk weren't as dark as what they should be. I dont know . I was shocked when I seen them but doubted it alot at the same time. But then the third day it was completely white and the fourth morning white and I started to bleed so I have no idea.

Did you do those two tests at 9/10 dpo last cycle or later in the cycle? Did the lines come up straight away?

Hi I'm following . Litrally just did a wondfo and got a bit like yours . I've tried to take a pic but its impossible to take . I'm not sure on my last cycle did I have a chemical as I had this two days in a row with fmu . Then third day I got nothing and the fourth day I got a period . So I wasnt sure if i got a bad batch and a coincidence or it was a chemical. And now this eve again I have got one. I'm currently 9-10 dpo depending on app and i could see the line after it two mins. But I cant trust them. Gon a do a boots test in the morn

I can see something to. But i will say ive had a few of the dip sticks like this and i havent been.
Fingers crossed it turns into a nice pink line for you x

@bluebell94 Thanks for your response. The reason I think it might be something more is that I have taken these tests last month (when I wasn't actively 'TTC') because I thought I was pregnant due to a late AF and it turned out to be nothing. They were stark white then - and from the same batch. Nothing to even squint at. I will test again in a couple of days but the waiting is killing me!

I see what you mean, I think there may be something there but I've had some horrible evaps on these style of tests before. Best wait a couple of days and tests again. Sorry about your grandma Fingers crossed x

Just taken another one. This time the line appeared almost as soon as the urine soaked through. It is still faint but looks clearer then the first in real life...
