Came off pill:19/12
Withdrawal bleed:16/1 (28 days)
First period:17/2 (32 days)
Ovulation: 4/3 (Cycle day 17)
Hi everyone, I told myself I would play it cool with it being the first real month but I’ve been symptom spotting like mad. I’ve had quite a lot of symptoms this month. I’ve never get pain in my nipples but this month they’ve been so full and sore for the past few days, I’ve had also had back ache, hot flashes, heavy feeling in my stomach and felt as if I’ve had cold when waking. Today I’ve woke up (cd 27) and feel so sick, worried that it’s because my period is due but there’s still 6 days to go. Please say I’m not the only one symptom spotting like mad. X

AF is due on the 20th for me so not many days to go. I’m so tired today, this isn’t helping me go to work ha.

@1987Nic me too just sort of waiting for AF to turn up I think! Expecting her on the 19th so not to far away what about you? X

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 21:17

@Macaz20 I feel as if I’m losing hope or preparing myself not to be disappointed ha. I’ve got really bad cramps again tonight. (28/32)

The closer to AF I get the worse I seem to get with this symptom spotting lol. I’m doing my own head in 😂

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 17:43

@Macaz20 Definitely save your pennies until it AF arrives.
@Blackbelt It’s crazy how some people can be pregnant one week and not get any symptoms at all but other people can get lots of symptoms. My boobs have been really big this month too, even to the point clothes are too tight but then feel as if they aren’t as big now that I’m near my period. I’ve been having more cramps today, can’t wait to stop symptom spotting ha.

@1987Nic I have got some early response tests I got from home bargains/savers - they are only 99p a test! The brand is called clear & simple I think. Hopefully they are still reliable despite the price! They say test from 6 days early but I'm going to try and wait a bit longer! I also got some cheap ovulation test strips from the same brand which seemed to work ok for me this month!

Hello! Ttc for around 30 cycles(actually lost count) , just over 2 years. Af due on mothers day (22nd march). I OV'd on cd14 which is pretty early for me its usually 16-18 so managed to get 2 bd's in & 2nd cycle using pre-seed.

I was on cerazette for years & took me 10 weeks to get my first period.

Blackbelt · 15/03/2020 11:25

Thanks for making me feel welcome. It's funny how some months I think I am, some months I don't. I suppose it could fertilise and not implant. Trying not to test too soon as had a chemical in december. I hid all my tests in the back of the wardrobe!! My nipples are sore and boobs feel so much fuller, but that could just be because I've been eating my feelings and gained some weight! It's all very exhausting.

Macaz20 · 15/03/2020 10:01

@1987Nic oh thanks for the heads up I’ll have a browse later on ☺️ I’m not gonna order till AF arrives I don’t think. I’m pretty positive it’s not gonna happen this month but would be gutted to spend and then not need haha.

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:48

Yeah I know, I’ve heard it take nearly a year for people to get periods back. Definitely a good idea, I bought the clear blue ones from groupon and added a discount code so wasn’t too bad for two months worth.

@1987Nic same as me I was on that pill for about 10 years was very pleased to see AF arrive promptly after stopping the pill as I’ve seen some others aren’t so lucky! If AF arrives then I’m going to order OPKs for next month but just so I can understand when I ovulate etc I’m still learning 😂

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:43

Joint hi to everyone today, I don’t really feel as if I’ve got any symptoms today but I shall update you all once I pull myself away from my bed ha. Has anyone bought an early detection pregnancy test? I’ve bought a clear blue one that says I can start testing as early as tomorrow.

Hi @Juno231 of course you are welcome to join, lovely to have is all waiting for around the same date. Your symptoms sound very similar to me. I’m hoping that I will start to chill out a little next month, you sound like you are doing well to not obsess like me ha. Are you planning for your first child?

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:37

Welcome @Blackbelt lovely to have someone else due the same time as the rest Smile. Sorry to hear about your mental health not being so good, I’ve been very anxious over this Coronavirus lately.

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:35

@Macaz20 I was also on a mini pill (cerazette), I was on it for around 10 years so I should keep positive that my periods have arrived straight away. I’m trying for my first child, my bf and I are both 32. My bf is learning, at first he didn’t like the idea of ovulation tracking but he’s soon changed ha.

Thanks @1987Nic! I was very tempted to test this morning but I didn't! 💪

I'm feeling ok today @Macaz20 not feeling any symptoms... Yet! I'm just feeling so impatient! I ovulated quite early in my cycle so the wait for AF to be due seems sooo long!

Hi @blackbelt and @juno231! 😊 Fingers crossed for all of us!

Macaz20 · 15/03/2020 08:39

Hello @Blackbelt and @Juno231 ☺️ More peeps around the same time ☺️ How’s everyone feeling today?

Juno231 · 14/03/2020 23:40

Hello I'll join if that is okay! AF due 21st :)
Came off the pill in Oct but started TTC last month so this is only our second cycle.

Was symptom spotting lots last month but am feeling a tiny bit more relaxed about it this time round. Atm I've got sore nipples, had an achey/heavy feeling in my lower abdomen and headaches. Not much to base anything on really but am only 7 DPO so I know it's all in my head as it's too early even for implantation!

Blackbelt · 14/03/2020 23:38

I'm TTC my first, am 35. 8th cycle ish I think. Due af on 21st. Symptom spotting like mad! Keep getting tummy pulling. Mental health is very poor this month so I'm on tenderhooks to be honest.

Macaz20 · 14/03/2020 23:12

@1987Nic @Nora11 so good we close together! Cycle friends! ☺️ Hoping for BFPs for us all ☺️

Yeah I mean I never had the nipple issues before I went on contraception but I’m going with that theory because I don’t think it’s gonna happen this month. If AF doesn’t rear her head by the 19th I’ll test again but I’m presuming she’s gonna grace me with her presence 😂 I was on the mini pill how about you? This is cycle 1 for child 1 ☺️ I’m 29 and my partner is 30. Don’t think he understands the whole cycle thing sometimes mind 😂
