Donnat89 · 19/04/2020 22:00

Evening ladies , hope everyone is ok .

I'm starting to get quite crampy this evening which is about right a few days before AF so patiently waiting for her to arrive , I am feeling hopeful she will come on time this month so I'm not testing unless for some bizarre reason she's late !

I really hope you are all Oki xx

Sungirl11 · 19/04/2020 21:55

@Jackandoliver13 wow 4! You are brave!
I'm 32 in a few days and still going for num1! Haha i am old!! And it's taking ages... a whole year this month it's been 🙈
But i don't think it has to do with age... you might have it easier🤞🏼
In this group i think no one has more than 2 🧐 so you will have to let us know how it is haha

ArjaD · 19/04/2020 21:10

*not, not now

ArjaD · 19/04/2020 21:09

@Jackandoliver13 ooooh 30 isn't old at all, I'm 36 🤣🤣🤣 took us 2 months the first time, about half a year now. Difficult to say with hubby offshore so now always home at the right times etc. But i draw the line at 2 babies! Unless this is twins, then I have no choice 😂

Jackandoliver13 · 19/04/2020 20:42

Hey girls we have just started trying for baby no4 🙈 how long did it take u girls to concieve? My 1st (twins) took 9 month but my little girl only a few weeks....I'm 30 now so keep thinking I'm abit older so will probably take a little longer. Ohhh and u mammys with 4 is it much harder than 3 ha 😁

NicoleR14 · 19/04/2020 20:17

Hi ladies how are you all doing?

OP posts:
ArjaD · 19/04/2020 20:07

@dizzy85 how are you holding up? Xxx

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 19:32

@Jessmary94 totally hold off! Chances you’ve implanted are low at 9DPO so the chance of a positive is low too. You’ll make yourself really disappointed xx

Sungirl11 · 19/04/2020 18:56

@Jessmary94 testing tomorrow will most probably be a disillusionment... and a waste of money!!
Wait till Wed as you will get that job and if it's negative (as it will still be quite early) you will still have the happiness of your new job in you ♥️♥️
Hope it helps! 🤞🏼🙈

Jessmary94 · 19/04/2020 18:25

@Sophiehannah95 I wouldn't have the self control to not test. I'm 8dpo and pretty sure I'll cave and test tomorrow.

@dizzy85 hope it's all OK and your staying positive🤞

@NicoleR14 ah hopefuy this is af on her way for you then you can get back to normal and it won't be such a worry.

@Donnat89 I dont no how you have the self control not to test again. I'm pretty sure I'll cave and test in the morning at 9dpo.

Have a big job interview first thing Tuesday, I no 9dpo is a bit early to test but darednt test Tuesday and take the focus away from the interview and I don't think I have the strength to wait until Wednesday. People please give me strength to wait till Wednesday 😩😩🙈

Mrsirvine · 19/04/2020 17:28

@sophiehanna you have a lot of self control, I would totally have to test lol xx

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 17:25

@Sungirl11 thankyou!! :) I’m just gonna keep chill and wait to see if AF shows. Thankyou for the photo! I asked my sister too as she said hers was positive as well when pregnant xxxx

Sungirl11 · 19/04/2020 17:11

@Sophiehannah95 this is my friends opk. She did it when already knew she was pregnant because we were discussing it. The like is much darker than the control one. Just so you have an idea 😊

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 16:55

@ArjaD I’m trying to hold off on the pregnancy tests as much as possible, due AF in 4 days so fingers crossed she doesn’t turn up haha! Xx

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 16:51

Just thought Id post this too as the first pic was me getting a little excited. This was it fully developed.
Hate myself for doing it like 😂 but curiosity got the better of me. Defo still not testing till AF late xxx

ArjaD · 19/04/2020 16:46

@Sophiehannah95 defo not a positive opk, the line needs to be as dark or darker than the test line to be a positive opk (unlike a pregmancy test). And i read somewhere that any opks that did pick up a pregnancy will show the same very dark line like the test line and it probably won't even be till af is late. Wouldn't drive yourself crazy with those lol, get some frers in !

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 16:20

@Carol1980 sounds daft but I’m so scared to test in case it’s a negative and too early and I make myself sad 😂

Carol1980 · 19/04/2020 16:16

I'd take a test and see what it says, I think the whole OPK kits only show up a pregnancy if it's at least a few weeks on as the hcg needs to be quite high to show up on it x

Sophiehannah95 · 19/04/2020 16:07

@Carol1980 hi! I’m now 10dpo only reason I thought I’d look is cos I feel so sick today :( xxx

Carol1980 · 19/04/2020 15:58

Depends on if your late or in the right dpo etc.....I've taken an ovulation test before just out of curiosity, just after my period stopped and it came up with a line as your LH levels rise just after your period and then dip again before rising for ovulation.
Are you late ? Or trying ?

Hi everyone

I read on here from someone (or it may have been a different site) that getting a positive ovulation test can sometimes mean your pregnant as the test can’t decipher between HCG and LH. I’ve just done one as it’s the only kind of test in the house, and it’s come back as a positive (I think). Do you think I should test for pregnancy or am I being a full blown idiot? 😂 xxx

ArjaD · 19/04/2020 15:48

@Carol1980 it's unavoidable huh. I said to my hubby this month I was feeling stuff but that I wasn't even going to go into detail because I was probably just imagining the whole lot... He was happy with that 🤣
