Second thread for ttc!

Hi All,

New to mumsnet.. I hope you don’t mind me posting. I have been trying to conceive for 5 months now, last month had a faint positive which as they days progressed got fainter and then finally I got a my period. Dr say possible chemical pregnancy.

Really struggling at the moment, finding it hard to stay positive. Looking for any tips, just other people in the same situation.

Oh @Carol1980 how awful :( how many dpo are you now? Yes that's good news but I'm nervous about my bloods, I feel like we're going to be fine and it's just taking a long while which is what I'm hoping for ! Xx

Still nothing this end x feel like I'm overly aware of what my body is doing x been having the odd cramp/ twinge here and there in my pelvis but 🤷‍♀️

I really hope I manage to sleep ok tonight x the past 2 nights have been freaking horrendous!! And I'm back shift so it's not helping that I'm tired as hell !! X

Hi ladies just updating - partners sperm test was positive, waiting for my results tomorrow or weds 🥵

@gemloubag hm can't say I've had anything like that, but skipping a period or changes like that could be to do with stress - and there's a lot of it right now. You can have spotting around ovulating too, i do sometimes. Maybe the gp can help? Hormones are a confusing thing!

Haha i am sleeping fine but i'm having these weird nightmares also i had to get out of bed midnight because i thought i had weed myself in bed hahha i am going to the loo a lot.. but i don't find it related? I haven't been at home calm for sooo long now as i travel for work so any strange life symptom i think it's because of that...

Hi everyone, I am new here! Hello hello! I wondered if you can all please help me. Long post alert (sorry) I am just so confused.
My husband and I have been trying to conceive since November when I had a suspected miscarriage on the copper coil. (no hormones in it) Several different Dr's gave me the same advise but they never tested my blood to confirm so I don't know if I actually did. I had the coil swiftly removed shortly after and as a person who never wanted children, this completely made me do a u turn and we have been ttc ever since. My periods were 33 days but since my coil removal have been more on the side of 28 days however last month i had a 17 day cycle which was extremely unusual and then this month I got what I can only describe as like implant bleeding around the time my apps advised I would ovulate. (rust streaks in my cm). from what iv read could have been ovulation bleeding? My period was due on 29th or 31st march according to the two trackers I use. So far its a no show.... I took a test last night and last week-both Negative. We were using the clear blue ovulation smiley face thing and this month it had a flashing smiley face for 2 weeks straight before I gave up with it. We last dtd on March 26th. Last Monday/tuesday I had feelings of cramping and bloating like my period was coming and then nothing since. My cervix still feels really high and I read it should come down lower for a period. I don't know what to think. I'm clearly not pregnant but I have no idea what is going on with my body. Has anyone had anything similar please? Your help is much appreciated xxxx

@dizzy85 aw it sounds like a good sign, as I had no symptoms at all when I was pregnant the first time. No sign of af, no sore boobs etc. So fingers crossed for you xxx xxxx 1 dpo here 🤣

I checked back at my second pregnancy symptoms ( my first ended in MC at 6 weeks) and I didn't have spotting, had very little symptoms apart from sore boobs, but Since breastfeeding my daughter you could bounce a brick off my boobs and I wouldn't feel a thing 🤣🤣 so don't know if I'll get the sore boobs this time round if I get pregnant !
Had insomnia again last night and indegestion most of yesterday so that was lovely 🙄

Last mont my AF was about 4/5 days late, but it must be so frustrating though ! I know I was frustrated as hell last month as I knew I wasn't pregnant but wanted to get started on the next month! X

@dizzy85 i'm same as Carol! We are both 8dpo today so for me 6 days to go until af...
I don't want to test as i'm quite sure there is nothing there... but being home alone and bored doesn't help haha
I don't have any symptoms at all... no sore breast, no pain no cramps.. nothing at all Haha so not very positive.

@NicoleR14 how's things this morning still no af? I really do feel for you, I once had a period 3 weeks late but that was a very stressful time in life so yours could possibly be caused by the big changes that are happening in the world at the moment I bet a lot of woman are finding the same it's weird how stress and changes can affect our cycles but it def does.
Well my af is due in 2 days I've had no symptoms or anything going on, one strange thing is I've not had my usual pre af spotting that I get every month it can start up to a week before but nothing but it wouldn't surprise me of my cycle will be messed up from all this so it's probably that.

@Sungirl11 how you getting on? I'm holding on ok not gonna bother testing just waiting for Wednesday see if af turns up.

Hi ladies sorry it's been a busy trying to keep the toddler happy day today !

7dpo today !
Trying not to symptom spot but last night I had HORRENDOUS insomnia, 2 days so far of indegestion and little cramps here and there but nothing major x

Had a headache this morning too to the point I had to take some painkillers but I've read that progesterone ( which we all get prior to periods and when your preggers) can cause headaches so it could be either progesterone headaches or progesterone headaches from pregnancy 🤣🤣 not very clear I know !! But I don't have headaches often enough before my period to say that is what it is, also not had to take anymore painkillers after the first lot this morning x

Ovia is saying it's still 5 days until I can test and I've been so good this time round, I've not take. A single one at all !!

8dpo tomorrow! Being home all day doesn't help

@Sungirl11 on it 😁😁😂 wee guy is ok. Just one meltdown so far today 🤣 I think he's beginning to get used to it a bit. Well, wishful thinking. How are you guys?

I'm 7dpo so 7 days to go until af is here. No symptoms of anything so just chilling at home haha

How is everyone? Got what I think was a positive opk yesterday which is 1 or 2 days earlier than expected. Oh well, we'll see.

@Sungirl11 im just sad, i just don't know what's wrong. I didn't do any thing when we learned im pregnant after 2month of my last MC and just having a bed rest to make sure it will go well. Haven't check yet, will ring the GP early tomorrow. But i passed some blood clots. I think my pregnancy symptoms are slowly going away..

Hi all I can’t post pics yet (think because I only joined this morn) I’m on my tww (I think!).

I’ve had vvvvfl three day’s in a row but I had a mc last month so technically could be leftover hormone. Time will tell. I’m trying not to get my hopes up.

Im new here while searching for symptoms and etc which is same on my case as well. Im feeling down and loosing hope because i think im having a MC again at 6w2d for my fourth child supposedly. But i got an ectopic on my second, mc on my 3rd which is last Dec 2019 and experiencing bleedinv and cramps as of the moment. Im loosing hope..

@Sungirl11 he has a bouncy castle and a slide lol. Wouldn't even know where to put a sandpit! Concentration span of a goldfish though, he gets bored quick 🙄

6dpo and the symptom spotting has commenced !! Felt some little pulsing pain in my left pelvis.....probably not what I hope it is but you never know !!
