Second thread for ttc!

Hope you don't mind me joining in :)

I am 2dpo at the moment, we 'did the deed' on day of ovulation as we used a opk which confirmed it. Only things I've noticed different is a small back ache this morning before getting out of bed, feeling super tired and my nipples seem slightly darker. Though I'm probably just imagining that!

Was wondering if anyone else is experiencing anything going on with their bodies this early?

This is our first time ttc and there is a chance my partner could have poor fertility due to having cancer in the past. :)

@ArjaD it is puzzling but I just think it's an evap as was only on the one test. Will definitely do fmu tomorrow though if af hasn't come, I've started feeling really angry today so think she may be on her way 😢😞 I hope this is your month 🤞🏻

@dizzy85 it looks puzzling. Really can't say evap or not but I'm praying it's just a late bfp for you.... Maybe try with fmu in the morning? I'm ok thanks. Symptom spotting at 6dpo as usual...

@ArjaD thankyou, I'm alright it has messed with my head a bit as it does, I ended up taking the tests out the bin to look at I know bad idea, but I saw a line on one of them but not the other and it was very faint so I think just an evap coz it's not quite in the right position either. I'll just test again tomorrow and see. Here's a pic of the potential evap line. 🙄

@sems26 yes I would say it is defo possible. I have skipped periods before, our bodies do crazy things sometimes xx hope it all gets back on track on you xxx

Hope your all well and staying safe during this very stressful climate
Just wanted to join in and tell you my story...
So I’ve be TTC (trying to conceive) since February 19 I was previously on the implant which I had removed Feb 19. My periods were all over the place at first but since August 19 I have been having regular periods every month lasting between 31-33 days. I wasn’t ovulating at first but since November 19 I have started to ovulate every month (I check by using the ovulation sticks). Both myself and husband are normally fit and well, we have both had all the routine tests done.. blood tests and semen analysis which have all come back normal. I was due to see a gynaecologist on 1st April which got cancelled given the circumstances...
I’m currently 10 days late on my periods I’ve done 3 pregnancy tests which have all come back negative. I really don’t know what’s going on I’m not normally this late I definitely ovulated last month as I checked myself and we did the baby dance the few days around it. I have no symptoms other than lots of cream discharge (sorry if its tmi). I did a test 3 days after AF was due and another on 8 days. All BFN.
Don’t know what to think now? Whether I’m really late coming on or actually pregnant? And wondering whether it’s possible to skip a period even if you have ovulated that month? xxx

So I finally tested but nothing 😞 after all that being scared for nothing, disappointed but I'll just test again tomorrow but I highly doubt I'm pregnant and it's probably just a case of a late period. I did use my second pee and left it in the cup for a few hours coz I was too scared to do anything but I doubt that has affected the results and I bet af shows now I've tested 🙄

@Carol1980 I don't know why it is but at least since I turned 30,which is 6 years ago, my boobs just stopped hurting before af. So i can't even count it as a symptom now 🙄

@Carol1980 i haven't got sore boobs either this month, just my nipples today... and also i normally spot brownish bit before af and nothing. But again i don't think its preg but just hormones going mental with this situation.
I am doing that... no opks, no telling him when fertile week is etc.. just let it flow. March was first month like that so will see. But he is extremely tired from work and we don't dtd a lot... poor me haha

@ArjaD honestly it's just so weird !

I had a discussion with my hubby this morning and suggested that we give it a kiss this month with ttc, just for this next cycle, I'm thinking I'll go all unknown with it, no OPK, I'm still going to be updating my Ovia etc but not tell him when I think my fertile time is and just go with the flow x

@Carol1980 yes me too, used to get sore boobs all the time and never now. Think I'm just getting old 😂😂

@Sungirl11 remember all those symptoms can be attributed to early pregnancy too x

This may seem like a weird question but I used to get sore boobs before AF was due and hadn't even noticed till the other day that I never get sore boobs at all now !
I don't know if it's because I breastfed my daughter for 2 years, but I get nothing theses days at all ?
Anyone else not get sore boobs before their period. ?

@Carol1980 i didn't test today as i feel i spend so much money.. i do have super af symptoms, specially the heaviness under my belly and sore nipples. Af due on Monday so will see then...

I tested negative again this morning so I'm just going to count myself out this month and try to enjoy the rest of my time before AF, thinking of building a mud kitchen for my daughter, totally love my diy !!

I'm just sitting waiting for af now, but it's not due for another week. It's going to be a long week....

Hi ladies sorry I've been a bit quiet x

Got my fingers crossed for all you ladies who are about to test, I tested this morning 12dpo, and BFN.
Af isn't due for 4 days according to Ovia.....
I've been suffering from indegestion for the past few days and almost every night about this time I get really peckish!
Probably causing the symptoms myself 🤣
Other than that absolutely nada with regards to any symptoms or twinges etc 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

@ArjaD 😬🤞🏻😬 I guess tomorrow will tell, I do feel weird but there's a lot going on at the moment and it's a weird time so i think that could be why. Haha that's something I'd probably think too 😂you never know though they are lucky 🍀 it's always good to have hope!

@Sungirl11 sorry for your bfn hopefully that changes soon. Thankyou I will definitely let you know either way, I've had tiny bits of spotting today so it could just be a late af.

And i am feeling she is on her way totally! Two/three days to go and i will know... but i do feel af really badly coming.

Don’t worry about the timing ladies. Some things can’t be helped and I don’t know about yous, but I’ll never regret a baby I do have but I might regret one I don’t have 🤗🤰🏼 Xx
