Hi we are hoping TTC this month. Right at the beginning of my cycle. Taking my first folic acid tablet today. Do you hues have any tips. Let start our journeys together :) we have been trying on and off with no joy. This month we want to give it a real shot! Any help and experiences will be amazing. Is there anyone in the same boat? It's so heart breaking to see the lonely line so let support each other to the double line of happiness:) x

Killerwhale123 · 09/04/2020 16:59

Hello..
My last period was 6th March.. I was due on 4th April and I haven't come on my period. I have dark circles around my nipple area. I am feeling sick in the mornings and nights. I am very bloated and tried all day. I tested Tuesday and I had a negative result.. I haven’t tested since. Can anyone help please?

Juno231 · 09/04/2020 16:25

Hello I'd like to join! I'm on cycle 3 in my TWW (4DPO) and am itching to at least get to the 9DPO mark to entertain myself with symptom spotting as this TTC malarkey is so much more boring and slow whilst wfh!

Used OPKs this cycle and got a nice strong peak which helped me feel at ease as I never spotted a surge last month so had no clue when I ovulated!

Factualmistakes · 09/04/2020 15:43

@Bigcheesey @Fertility1 @EightMilesHigh welcome - It would be nice for this thread to be more active.

I hope everyone is doing ok in this crisis.

Killerwhale123 · 09/04/2020 01:52

Anyone awake please?

Fertility1 · 07/04/2020 21:19

Hi can I join?

We are ttc #1 and have just finished cycle no.2. In the TWW nie and have no symptoms at all. Didn't get a positive opk either this cycle. Still hoping to get a BFP though!!

Bigcheesey · 07/04/2020 20:41

Hi, I’d love to jump on the TTC wagon too!

29, implant removed early March after 8 years (AF arrived the day before as she liked to sporadically) and this will be baby 1. I have no clue about ovulation and all that jazz, and I’m rapidly trying to learn all the acronyms 😂 but for now partner and I just trying to keep chilled about it all. I was taking pregnacare but it was making me feel incredibly nauseous and I had 2 BFN using the ER test so pretty sure it was the tablets making me sicky.

So exciting/ comforting to read other people’s experiences and hopefully go on a journey with you all 😊

Babybump0 · 07/04/2020 19:10

Hi guy's need some advice
My cycle is 30 days i done the deed on day 10 most fertile day 15 to 17 any one else ever get pregnant do i stand a chance been trying for so long i feel like giving up xxx

EightMilesHigh · 15/03/2020 19:08

Hi all, can I join? 👋🏼 Just had a BFN from last cycle unfortunately so will be TTC (baby number 2) again at the end of this month. Cycle day 1 today so think we need to try around 24th-29th this month. Just spent a small fortune on ovulation kits again 😂 Has any one used the clearblue advanced ovulation stocks before? I just used the cheaper thin sticks last time.

Factualmistakes · 09/03/2020 09:34

Had some faint lines on my Ovulation test but nothing solid yet even though my predicted day was yesterday. I wonder if I missed it this month and it was earlier.
Thankfully we have been DTD every other day for the past weeks so we might have caught it anyway.

amc2018 · 05/03/2020 22:30

Has anyone's partners tried the well man conception tablets? X

710BH · 05/03/2020 20:48

Had my first smiley face on my digital OPK today!
My partner has never been happier since I suggested DTD 😂
Got my fingers totally crossed that this is the time!

popcorndiva · 05/03/2020 19:58

I am stopping the mini pill in 2 weeks. We were lucky first month for DC1 but don't expect this time to be as quick. Taking folic acid and iron in preparation though

PumpkinPie2016 · 05/03/2020 19:56

Hi popcorndiva

Sounds like you are like me -not started just yet. Planning to start next cycle. Period due around 12th March and I have a roughly 28 day cycle so have worked out roughly when the fertile days are.

Started taking folic acid today and have been eating fairly healthily (just in case it helps haha).

Looking forward to getting started but trying not to stress about it too much.

popcorndiva · 05/03/2020 19:30

We are planning to try at the end of the month so a month behind you all. Can I still join?

Factualmistakes · 05/03/2020 13:52

When is everyone looking to test? As it's my first attempt this month I'm going to try not to test and just see if AF arrives.

Buns05 · 04/03/2020 20:56

@doctorbambino I was on microgynon for over 10 years. I came off it in Dec and have settled back into a regular pattern so far! Not TTC yet but will be in a few months! Hope coming off it goes well for you! Smile

CoalCraft · 04/03/2020 13:15

@DoctorBambino I was on microgynon for a while! Got swapped over to Logynon in the end.

I hope your husband is right too! For some reason I feel like it's either gonna happen for me straight away or it'll take ages... Of course realistically somewhere in the middle is most likely

Juno231 · 04/03/2020 12:32

@amc2018 I'm just a bit more on the ball this cycle. Last month we only really managed to DTD once during fertile week cause I hadn't grasped when my most fertile days were or when I'd ovulate in relation to an LH surge as it was all so last minute. This month OH is fully on board and there's a DTD schedule just so OH gets it as otherwise he'd be less likely to agree to DTD...

DoctorBambino · 04/03/2020 11:48

@CoalCraft I've been on the combined pill (microgynon) not sure if that will make any difference! Husband is pretty convinced it's going to happen quickly whereas I'm expecting it to take at least 6 months. Of course I'm hoping he is right!

Hankychief · 03/03/2020 22:34

So good to see others in the same situation. I really have no clue what to expect with all this and it is a little daunting at times! Lots to learn.
All we can do is try to relax and hope we get lucky at some point.

amc2018 · 03/03/2020 22:00

Has anyone doing anything different this month? I am on my last day of period today and really want to see the positive lines this month (fingers crossed) good luck everyone x
