HHello everyone - looking for some March friends to go through the dreaded TWW with 😁 DPO -3, AF due March 11.

Been on another thread for 4 cycles now but everyone on there seems to have gotten a BFP now apart from me 🤷🏽‍♀️ Hoping that we can support each other through this cycle and continue to do so for us that get BFNs and need to keep positive for each other.

Little bit about me - 36, 1 DS 15, TTC second child with partner, cycle 5, 1 early MC last cycle, 1 anovulation cycle in December - hoping this will be our month 💪🏼😍

@MamaPixie I know what you mean! I'd rather just know definitively so I can at least have one glass of wine or something! Roll on Wednesday!

Pix2 · 09/03/2020 16:21

Hi all,

Hoping to join the band wagon! Stopped birth control pill early Jan, had 1st period exactly 4weeks later. 5 days of light bleeding, 1 day break followed by 3 days spotting. I'm using clue to help with dates of ovulating but never tracked ovulation before so DTD alot mid cycle just in case. Had brown spotting 1st, 2nd and 4th March but literally 1 wipe and then nothing. AF was due 7th March and now on the 9th with no AF and no cramps and BFN. Slight spotting today but only when wiping. Would be nice to hear others stories whilst waiting for BFP Smile

@MrsMeow2019 thanks! Me too... although, someone on another thread I made about possible false positives on CB digital said that they had two! So now I'm wondering if it was a false positive.

All other tests have been incredibly faint, given that my HCG would now have doubled as it's 72-hours since the first BFP on the digital test I should have a much darker line. If anything, they're getting lighter.

My gut tells me this is a CP or it was a false positive. AF due tomorrow.

MamaPixie · 09/03/2020 10:13

@Orangepeel105 it's frustrating isn't it?? I've had exactly the same thing 3 days after ovulation for the last 3 cycles 🙈 definitely got another BFN on a frer this morning too - almost praying for Wed already so AF can stop me hoping and put me out of my misery haha xx

@2020wish oh my goodness I'm crossing everything for you!! You could be a late implanter so definitely possible 😊 it wouldn't be bad, if it's a faint line it would indicate that there's definitely a presence of HCG therefore you've already implanted and you wouldn't menstruate. If you did menstruate it may just be light but nothing negative would happen to the blastocyst as it's implanted already as your uterus was thick enough at that time xx

Day 26 out of a 28 day cycle for me and I got a BFN on a fres this morning Sad my boobs have been a bit sore for about a week and I've been mega hormonal/emotional, but that could be extended PMS and stress. So difficult that the symptoms of pregnancy and being premenstrual are so similar! Hope you're all doing well today x

2020wish · 09/03/2020 08:18

14dpo took a frer this morning .... I swear I see the faintest faintest of lines when I hold it up to light... (I do this every test I take and have never seen a possibility or a slight hope of a line) please fingers crossed. I wasn’t able to pick it up on my phone. Af due tomorrow would a line so faint the day before af possibly be bad?

MamaPixie · 09/03/2020 07:27

@MrsMeow2019 thank goodness for work 😊 Got a BFN again this morning, think it's going to to stick. I've bought some ubiquinol this morning in the hope it will make a difference next cycle. I hope you have better news in the next few days 🤞🏽

MrsMeow2019 · 08/03/2020 20:27

@jazzibelle congratulations 🥳 Hope it is a sticky bean for you 💓 you must be so excited !

@MamaPixie the BFNs are awful arnt they even when you’re 100% positive it will be negative 👎. I hope we get BFPs too we’ve got a few more days so we’re still in with a chance !

Back to work tomorrow ! Almost glad of the distraction 😂

Indigo89 · 08/03/2020 20:15

Usually 28-29 day cycle.
I'm on cd30 now. Got a BFN yday though with a Sainsbury's test. I usually get cramps the day before AF but nothing to suggest she's on her way, yet no pregnancy symptoms either. Hrmph.

MamaPixie · 08/03/2020 20:09

@MrsMeow2019 I'm holding out hope for both of us for Wednesday!! The frers arrived an hour ago - obviously my knickers were halfway down my legs by the time I got to the bathroom 30 seconds later....
BFN.
I literally don't know why I do this to myself 😂 all I want to do now is scream into a pillow and punch myself in the ovaries!
There wasn't even an evaporation line. I kind of figured that there would be at least a hint of something there 🙈

@HallowsandHorcruxes I’ll keep everything crossed for you! I retested again this evening and it’s the first evening BFP, albeit still faint! That was just one of those cheap Boots ones.

So emotional, isn’t it? Without the several BFP loud and clear in a row, you want to keep yourself from getting too excited, as so much can happen this early on.

Praying it’s not a CP! Thinking sticky thoughts ❤️

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 19:00

@Missgoldilocks everyone seems to say different things haha! I read the other day someone's doctor had said 6 months is average! But good to know if We do end up needing tests!

Missgoldilocks · 08/03/2020 18:54

@Pink15 yeah he is the main one getting tested and if he is all clear then they will check deeper on me. Took my 1 month with my son, crazy lol. I told my doctor I had been off contraception 11 months (we only just got the ball rolling) and she said the average time it takes is 8 months so she was happy to go through with some tests for me! She also said you aren't infertile till you can't concieve for 1 years so there's that too lol

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 18:26

@Missgoldilocks that makes sense about the control thing like I record every time we dtd on my app but dunno if it really helps anything 😂 how long did it take you to get pregnant with your first son? Is your partner getting the tests too? I'm 26 so similar age! How did you get the doctor to do tests before 1 year? Everyone seems to say the cut off is 1 year 🤔

Missgoldilocks · 08/03/2020 17:11

@Pink15 came off non hormonal contraception in April last year but started tracking in September so 11 months but I say 8 really lol. Yeah my cycles are clock work too 28 days and I ovulate on cd15 every single cycle lol I guess I do all the tracking because I feel like I have some control even though I don't need to! Getting bored now might just stop hahaha! I got pregnant very quickly 2 times when I was younger, I'm 27 now but I was 18 then. I have one son who's 8 so yeah I never thought I'd be trying for so long either

@MrsMeow2019 it's crap isn't it 💐🤗 we will get there! My partner now doesn't have children so I really want to give him one! I have an 8 year old son so seems like a life time away honestly lol

MrsMeow2019 · 08/03/2020 16:41

@Missgoldilocks sorry AF has arrived, I’m getting cramps today so think she’s in her way here too and will bring us on to cycle 9 :(, I didn’t think I’d be pregnant quickly but I don’t think I had anticipated it taking this long and how frustrating it becomes when so many ladies seems to get preggo in a flash

@MamaPixie I did a test this morning 🤦‍♀️ it was another BFN of course. Due AF on Wednesday so I’m going to leave it now until then I think 🤔 I’ve run out of early tests and only have a Clearblue left ...

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 12:51

@Missgoldilocks that's so true! I know the feeling I also thought I'd get pregnant straight away! I thought you could slip up once and that'd be it when I was trying not to conceive 😂
I just use my app and CM to try and predict cos my cycle are 28 days so hoping they're accurate... I tried opks but they stressed me out. Not sure if temping would work for me as I often wake up at different times for shifts?
Good luck with the tests - how long have you been trying?

Missgoldilocks · 08/03/2020 11:55

@Pink15 just remember sometimes people will get symptoms and sometimes people don't! So its not a great indicator, it'll happen. Are you doing your bbt? I think that's the best tool along with opks.
I'm okay, just thought I'd be pregnant by now and currently under going some tests to see if everything is okay

HallowsandHorcruxes · 08/03/2020 11:38

I'm similar @jazzibelle iv got another v faint line again today but saving my CB digital for after AF would be due as I know they're not as sensitive. Don't want to believe it yet until it's 100% clear on the tests!

Fingers crossed for you Smile

Pink15 · 08/03/2020 11:17

@Missgoldilocks I'm cycle 3 trying for baby number 1. Currently 8 dpo so in that annoying 2WW trying to stop myself symptom spotting but it's all I can think about!! I never knew ttc would take over my life this much. I'm not particularly positive this cycle as not had any symptoms and so just think what's different this month than my previous negative months 🤔 but I know it's early days and a lot of people have been trying a lot longer 😔 how are you feeling?

@jazzibelle I think a test saying pregnant is about as sure as you can get!! 🥳 maybe just test again in a few days with those other tests as they may just be less sensitive x

Missgoldilocks · 08/03/2020 11:05

@Pink15 it is!! Thank you ❤️ how long have you been trying and where are you in your cycle? How are you feeling x

jazzibelle · 08/03/2020 11:02

Sorry, that should have read *had testicular cancer. He's had the all-clear for a while now

jazzibelle · 08/03/2020 11:01

@Pink15 that's what I'm hoping. It was a Digital test so the word 'Pregnant' is pretty clear Smile. The questionable BFP today was defo not an evap line, but I don't know if I'm just seeing what I want to see...

It's my first and we're only on our second cycle. Being new to TTC I'm just a little nervous to start celebrating. That, and my DH has testicular cancer so we really didn't think it would be this quick, or even possible. I want to wait until I have another firm BFP before telling him.

Is it common to have a BFP and then a string of BFN? I am hoping it's just low HCG and I picked it up yesterday because of a 10-hour sleep.

I do have some symptoms, but I also chalked them up to AF (mild cramps a few days ago, dullness in my belly, nipples sensitive to touch, tired, light-headed, ragey, and very windy!)

PlomBear · 08/03/2020 10:56

It’s AF for sure! Sad
