@lottiepink thanks! Totally right about the little walks to let of steam, they really do help haha! Hope all is well with you x

Etonmess20 · 19/05/2020 13:01

@lizzie198 definitely, most days I'm quite positive about it all but we all have the odd down day

Ah yeah I feel a bit like that today, very tummyish, if that's even a thing!

Oooh nice I hope you get something tasty for lunch! Xx

lizzie198 · 19/05/2020 12:13

@Etonmess20 Glad your feeling a bit better today and it always helps when you can do something positive towards the end goal isn't it?

Having a bit of a tired day today, 3rd day of af so to be expected 😊.

DP is on a rota'd day off today so hoping he will make something nice for lunch to cheer me up haha xx

Etonmess20 · 19/05/2020 10:45

Morning @lizzie198 I'm a bit more mentally stable today thankfully 😂

I woke up with a smidge of (what I assume is) AF. Although it's pinker, lighter & more jellyish (soz TMI) than normal! I had to email the hospital to let them know it was CD1 today in advance of my scan so I've done that so should be all set for 1st June now.

How's things with you? X

lizzie198 · 19/05/2020 10:39

@Etonmess20 how are you feeling today?

@Teadrinker30 hope your feeling a bit better today xx

Lottiepink · 19/05/2020 08:35

@Teadrinker30 yeh I totally get you, definitely be better when you can talk face to face, we kept it a secret for so long, but then when got the first hospital appointment we told our parents. Sorry you guys are bickering, but to be honest, we have more than usual, more so in the beginning of lock down, I wasn't used to him being home so much and with not able to really go anywhere it makes it difficult. I learned to just take myself off for a walk with my headphones if I felt like we were gonna bicker and let off a bit of steam 😂😂 it all takes its toll, especially when the clinics etc are running behind now :( not long until your telephone consultation though 😊 hope you feel a little better today 😊

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 21:29

@lottiepink hi! No I haven't yet, it's so sad we can't talk in person really. Me and my OH have been bickering quite abit recently.. Probably driven him mad talking about having a peak! Having a shitty day today tbh..

Got my fingers crossed for you all ladies for some positive news soon! Xx

Lottiepink · 18/05/2020 18:47

@Teadrinker30 welcome to the group 😊
I'm just catching up again, did you manage to speak to your mum or are you going to wait a little while? I'm the same exercise wise I worried but to be honest now I have increased it to keep loosing weight, but I've always exercised too. I think it's good for the mind and I don't think I could give it up unless I had too.

@Kiza ahh really, I might try and get him to take it again, but I think he will say no 🙄🙄 although I may start on it ha!

@Annny27 I will probably be wfh for the next month too, I feel more focused at home, think it's due to less distractions ha! Do you feel better for not tracking as much this cycle?

@lizzie198 sorry af arrived 😞 hope you got some nice treats in 😊

@Attybae welcome and good luck, must be so difficult with him working away so much! Bet you are pleased to have him home 😊

Etonmess20 · 18/05/2020 16:19

@Kiza I've got cramps on & off but they're not as strong as usual AF for me. I'm just ignoring the pregnancy symptoms as they're obvs red herring clomid symptoms!!
House viewing was very strange, we've had a few the last week as we're looking to move. It's just talking with the estate agent either stood far away & with a mask on. There's a lot of stuff come back on the market where sales have fallen through

No I haven't tried Angus cactus, although I have heard it messes with clomid (or can do) so perhaps worth checking it won't interfere with anything you are or will be taking (I'm sure you will!)

Kiza · 18/05/2020 15:03

Hi Ladies,
@Annny27 I tried phoning my consultant a few times but no one ever answers the phone so just have to wait I imagine.
Accupuncture can be pricey, I started out once a fortnight for the first month and then went to monthly. All the Accupuncturists I've spoken to have said the only time they recommend once a week is during the IVF procedure due to the strain on your body with all the injections.

@lizzie198 sorry about AF, think we are cycle buddies at the moment cd 3 for me.

@Etonmess20 any AF symptoms? How was the house viewings? Wondering how it felt doing it with social distancing?

@Teadrinker30 I wouldn't stress about exercise. I stopped weight lifting for 6 months to see if it made a difference and nada. As long as it's something you've always done then you should be fine.

@Attybae welcome to the group ☺️

Have any of you ladies tried Agnus Castus? Just bought some (seem to buy something new every month!) 😆

Attybae · 18/05/2020 14:02

Hello everyone! I am ttc my first child. DH and I have been trying since we got married in Sept to no avail. He was working offshore and gone for weeks at a time until March of this year. So it's only been since march that we have been able to ttc every ovulation period. I have been tracking ovulation with opks. I am really hoping this month will be our month and for everyone else as well. :-)

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 13:49

@lizzie198 sounds interesting! Keep us updated 😊.

@etonmess20, completely agree.. Xx

Etonmess20 · 18/05/2020 13:37

@Teadrinker30 I just think of all these people who aren't TTC & just carry on their normal lives drinking, exercising etc
I've had cycles where I'be done certain things & not done certain things & still haven't been successful so I don't know what the right thing is, in truth I don't think there is a right answer x

lizzie198 · 18/05/2020 13:30

My new ovulation saliva test Maybe Baby is on it's way so I'll keep you all posted what it's like 😊

Going to use the Cheap one step OPK's alongside it to compare this month.

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 13:29

@etonmess20 it's tricky re exercise isn't it? Ive been doing HIIt as well but I honestly don't know what you should and shouldn't be doing during the dreaded TWW..

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 13:27

Etonmess20 · 18/05/2020 12:31

@Teadrinker30 thank you x

I agree re putting your life on hold, I am sometimes mindful about stuff like that although I do HIIT workouts. I think if it's something you should enjoy you should carry on x

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 12:25

I'm just trying the whole "keep relaxed thing"... Slowly driving myself round the bend.. Even stopped running as worried I was over exercising...feels like you can't do right for wrong and everything is on hold!

Teadrinker30 · 18/05/2020 12:23

@etonmess20 so sorry re your BFN. 😔 It's so dissapointing. Just be kind to yourself, plenty of treats Xx

Etonmess20 · 18/05/2020 09:38

@Annny27 @lizzie198 thanks for being so supportive, I know it does sometimes happen but think I need to be realistic today that a BFN means it's not happened this cycle. I think if I had a good google I'd just be giving myself false hopes ☹️

I am all about the wfh in pyjamas btw, DP & I went to view a couple of houses on Saturday & it was the first time I'd worn jeans in 9 weeks 😂😂

Annny27 · 18/05/2020 09:07

Morning girls :) 9dpo here no symptoms apart from a bit tired haha

@Etonmess20 sorry it was a bfn this morning :( thats so frustrating:(

@Narwhal88 yes a little bit pricey! Think I will give it a go though if I don't conceive soon haha

@lizzie198 yep wfh does have pj benefits haha

lizzie198 · 18/05/2020 09:00

@Etonmess20 no AF still though that's good 😊 fingers crossed you will still get a bfp.

I'm ok cramps easing now past the first day of AF which is nice.

Very glad for working at home at the moment though can stay in pjs when feeling rubbish haha x

Etonmess20 · 18/05/2020 08:56

Morning @lizzie198 not great today tbh, 15dpo & a BFN this morning but no AF 😭 I remember why I don't do HPTs now

How's things with you? X

lizzie198 · 18/05/2020 08:51

Thanks everyone all we can do is keep trying 😊

@Narwhal88 I only have short cycles 25-26 days so my next FWW is in May as well according to my app.

@Etonmess20 how are you?

Narwhal88 · 17/05/2020 16:30

@Annny27 it's between £45-65 per session I think and you are meant to go every 1-2 weeks so quite a bit per month. Wouldn't be so bad if you could just go once a month!

@Teadrinker30 I've been TTC for 11 months, but 14 cycles now as my cycle is only 25 days. Been referred to fertility specialist and found out my DH sperm is crap basically; very low count, low motility and low morphology. Waiting on tests for me now but all on hold!

@lizzie198 sorry about AF but onto the next cycle and you sound positive :)
